    Michelle,

We haven't moved anywhere else, but the thread just kind of died. It ended up being just 4 of us at the end and then not sure exactly what happened. But it's so good to hear from you! And on vacation too - lucky you!

Awesome that you haven't gained any weight back. Way to go! And gearing up for another round??

I'm doing well, maintaining on P4 without much of a problem. I'm mostly primal but have had a few days where I've binged and it didn't feel very good afterward. I've never gone above the 2lb limit yet and there hasn't been a day when I haven't weighed myself, so I'm hoping I can keep this up.

Have just gone through a nightmare regarding hurricane Sandy, which hit us pretty hard. I just got power back yesterday, a full 2 weeks after the storm. We had some damage from trees falling on out property, but luckily it was to the garage, not the main house. But living without power for 2 weeks in the cold is pretty stressful. My office didn't have power either, so I couldn't even escape there! It's nice to be back in the modern world.

Where is everyone? Marianne? Beth? Lynda? Check in when you can.

    Robin
    Starting R3 June 4

    Height 5'2"
    R3 Start Weight: 136.8

    R1 April 2011 - a Bust. Long story.
    R2 June 2012/P2 for 57 days.
    LIW Round 2 was 115.4
Stabilized just fine in P3 this time. Kept it off for almost a year then fell off the wagon.

Miss Michelle Hi there lady! I will make it a point to come back to rah-rah you on for your next round, starting next Thurs- Our Thanksgiving holiday-- too funny A day of over indulgence here. I am so proud of you with all your out in the fields and holidays that you have maintained. WAY-TO-GO!!! So tell me how is that boy from the treehouse? Do you go back to visit your children? Fill-in the blanks when you have time.

My last injection was on Aug. 14th, and have been maintaining ever since. I don't think I have EVER gone this long in the past 20 years at keeping my weight within 2 lbs. Daily weigh-ins I believe are the key for me. As far as the thread everyone just disappeared and I got kind of tired of getting up the formality of it. Figured it would just die a natural death, and when I come back to do my next round, which most likely will not be until the first of the year I would just join up on some other thread or start a new one. Had a huge engagement party for my son and his fiance this past weekend. The first time I had wine in ages. There is always a choice of eating or drinking calories- I like eating more although the wine was great!!

Robin- Glad to hear that you have gotten your electric back. Going that long in all the cold weather you have had would make me want to stand in line to buy a whole house generator. I hope that life gets back to normal on all fronts for you shortly, proud of you that you didn't stress eat your way thru the ordeal.

Hoorah! So so lovely to hear from you all. Yes..I am pretty astounded too that I have managed to stay around the final weight from Round 1...I think the biggest thing for me was it changed entirely my idea that food is for nutrition, and not for emotions..and because of that I find that I only eat when I am hungry, and even when I want to over indulge my tummy often says no..although I have successfully eaten my own body weight in nuts this holiday in Cyprus. Plus I have my food prepared for me by my friends aunt, and it is ridiculously delicious - but I just wieghed myself and I seem to be doing ok.
I'm so pleased you are also maintaining Marianne, and Robin - great going guys! Yes I think the answer really is the daily weigh in..I still have my blackboard with all my numbers on my wall except now with so many numbers I look like some kind of rain man!
So my aim is to be down another 21lbs by my 35th birthday which is in February next year..shouldn't be a problem she says optimistically!
Tree House boy is still on the scene, although it's a slow, and therefore a little painful a times, process - he is getting over a long term break-up, and is a typical can't commit sagittarius, but he's great (so far) so I'm happy to hang around, plus it means that I get to date other boys, so I kind of get the best of both worlds!!
I can't believ you were out of electricity for 2 weeks Robin! Wow. Glad you're back to normal again now.
I'm starting to get my head around the thought of starting again, but actually it's a little daunting..especially through the winter months..but I have my goal, and I have you guys!! I'll make sure to read through the book again too.
Are you starting a second round Marianne? I can't remember what you said before...

anyway lots of love from sunny Cyprus..

Hey everyone I'm still alive and well,
will need to catch up on all the goings on the last few weeks. quickly I finally moved back in to my house on the 2nd of November and have been unpacking and putting things away ever since. Everything is full of dust and such, so i have been washing and dusting everything as I go it's been a slow process the kitchen is laid out a little different and although I seem to have more room the drawers are all smaller and deeper which does me no good. Anyway all in all i love how it came out

weight wise I'm a bit up! I was doing very well up till Oct 28th when I saw my old flame from Phx. stayed with in my 2 lbs. Well he gave me a ration of crap about still being over weight, I went in to a real funk after that and was eating away my anger at him. I think It's time to let this one go he can be such a jerk! I started to edge up in to the 170's again and realized i needed to catch this before I gained everything back. after loading I was at 173.2 today hoping not to gain to much more over night.

Anyway tomorrow I'll be back on VLCD s I feel good about it and even with the holidays coming I know I'll do well back in 09 I started my journey in Oct and did it all though the holidays.

I'll catch up in the next few days it's so good to be back amongst friends! I've missed you all alot but needed to stay off the computer to get things done!

looks like it was a bit quite the last few weeks hope all is well. burt see that the last few days picked up again!

    hugs to all

Doing p2 thru holidays twice!! Give that girl a medal!
I think you are teaching yourself to focus on family and friends and not food during holidays, that is most AWESOME!
    You are my hero

Isn't weird how the drawers and cabinets can look the same on the outside but they just don' have the same space as the old ones, so it is never as easy to put things back becasue they just don't fit.

weight wise I'm a bit up! I was doing very well up till Oct 28th when I saw my old flame from Phx. stayed with in my 2 lbs. Kind of rude, instead of looking at how far you have come to pick on you. You will get back on the VLCD and lose and find someone who is crazy about you for the inside you and if the outside is just as beatiful then that is a bonus.

Anyway tomorrow I'll be back on VLCD s I feel good about it and even with the holidays coming I know I'll do well back in 09 I started my journey in Oct and did it all though the holidays. I applaud you for VLCD thru the holidays, but I know you want to finish up and be done, and you will- no worries there

Everyone just disappeared and I kept coming back to see if there were any update, and figured the thread was dying a quiet death, so happpy to have some life again. Get that kitchen done and tomorrow will be easier becasue you have that goal to work towards xoxo to you

I have left my signuature attached this time, normally I don't bore everyone with it.
As a background story- I am 65 (as of Oct 28) yew Always had to watch my weight, even though I am 5'2ish now (shrinking), my norm up to about 40 y.o. would be anywhere from 110-130, at 40 I had my first child and then I found my low would be 125 and normal 135 with peaks to almost 150, at 45 I had child #2 and stayed in that 135-150 range until about 55y.o., the range then increased up to 160, then 170 and slightly beyond 180. About 3 years ago, I did hcg and managed to get into the low 130's, regained it all, tried again last year and got back down to the low 130's, regained all but 10 lbs and restarted again this year- thus 3TimeGirl. The last 2 times I took the required break and jumped right back on the VLCD, it was a hurry up get it overwith mentality. It dawned on me I could be a success dieter, but losing weight was only one part of the equation. This time I seem to have made the connection between weight loss and weight maintainence. It has been important for me to get on the scale every day, and see that I do not regain, and understand that post diet is equally important. So here I am 13 wks later and staying within the 2 lb limit. I understand that certain foods I will probably never eat again-- my choice- because I know I wil regain if I eat them, but in no way am I depriving myself of lots of things I do love and eat daily.

I want to lose another 25-30 lbs, and will start the next round(s) after the holidays.
I am retired from school teaching, a flight attendant and airline customer service instructor, and currently helping my husband run a small busisness.
Now about you- What type of farming do you do? Have you always lived on a farm? How many acres? Do you have day help? Do you grow for personal conspumption or sell to markets or restaurants? My mother's family are farmers in south Jersey, dirt farmers. And I know even in the winter there are lots of jobs to do before turning the soil come pre-spring, looks like painting is a good thing to do during the down time. And it apears you have lost a 1/2 lb today so YAY to you.

As far as ading your picture to the prpofile, go to setting, edit profile picture, upload from your personal files , save and that should do it.

Have a great day. I tend to disappear over the weekend, so if I don't get back by the end of the day, I will catch up with you come Monday. Have a great weekend.

Your ticker didnt take. I too have watched my weight from when I was 11. I know somethig wrong with thyroid so...
Isn't it funny how long it takes us to figure out that this weight thing is a lifelong thing not diet, eat, diet eat. I'm rite with you . I gained b ack 6 lbs after my first round too, need to do better at p3 and p4 right? I'm almost 5'2". Hey I sub at schools in winter sometimes.
My education is : Psych/Religion, NLP, and hypnotherapy but.. I'm a farmer, ha.
I'm an organic vegie and herb farmer. I also sell my frozen pestos and fresh salsa in Summer. I have my own line of natural herbal care products out on localharvest.org where you can view my farm, M's Organic Sustainable FArm.
I farm 3 properties by myself by hand mostly(i know you'd think I'd be thin as a rail) I've been doing this l0 years.
No help, except my bf is very good at helping me fix the tractors. Ihave been selling at a large Chicago market for l0 years andother markets and I have 2 csa programs, one at farm and one in Chicago. Restaurants don't pay, they want it all for .10 on the dollar, so no restaurants.
Ya, we still arent done fixing 2 tractors but, I've got potato trenches dug for spring, tilling and ammending for early crops and the green house is all set. Usually I begin again end of feb , begin march.
On the losing front: Got tom yesterday but lost .5 today, that is weird, good weird, usually gain 2.
Stay strong this weekend, have a great great one and we will speak with you on MOnday?
    Blessings
Doing the best that I can , from where I am. All is well
