    Question Is it normal to gain weight....

    Is it normal to gain weight in Phase 4 if you increase your protein intake and start working out? Today is the first day I've gone over the 2lb. LIW and I'm curious if it's mostly due to my overindulgence day a couple days ago (I went to the fair and had a turkey leg, roasted corn, and an Idaho Ice Cream Potato - you can only get those once or twice a year. I also had some other crap food broccoli salad with sugared dressing and pulled pork with bbq sauce at work since that's all they had for lunch) or if it could be due to the increased exercise I've been doing at home and at physical therapy to strengthen my shoulder/arm muscles? I've also been making at least one protein shake a day, if not two. Your thoughts?

    It's more likely the lousy food. If you were gaining while eating properly, it could have been exercise but you had some really bad things and they would make your weight jump up. Do a steak day.

    I agree with grammy. I have been in P4 for a few weeks now, and I was doing good. But I ate pizza and bread sticks 2 days in a row, and gained a few lbs over my LIW
    I did a Steak day yesterday and lost 3lbs this morning.
