Thread: On a more personal level

So I will begin...
My name is Yvonne, but My online name "Flirty Flo" was earned at the start of internet when we all still had dial-up connections and made friends in Chat rooms.... and I only ever in all the time I have been active on the internet been known, only by my own name, Flirty Flo, or Dizzy Lizzy (my first name is Elizabeth and I am far from Dizzy!!)...and I was happy that Leez helped me get my old profile back.... in case some old friends pop in again

I am living in Johannesburg South Africa..... I am a Marketing Manager by title for a training company but in reality just a jack of all trades, Design, internet marketing, all kinds of IT stuff and Customer care etc... Sensitive about age (more vain!)
but I will reveal I am over 60...and that's all you will get out of me

Coco and Leez as well as Roselanue was here when I first made my appearance on The forums.. and Like now... I have always talked a hind leg off a donkey as I am a sociable critter.... I still have a couple of HCG ladies on my FB or email contacts

Coco Looking at your stats.... I weighed 240lbs at the start of 2010.....
It took me a while before I could find my way to HCG as it was not available here... But I joined in 2014 and ended up losing and getting to goal..... but slowly but surely... through countless surgeries to get my Reconstruction completed, the weight did creap up and I got to a point where I thought health more important than weight.. but weight unfortunately is a health issue... So.. never really stabilized.... but managed to average around the 165 mark.... and between Christmas last year and just before this round COVID took its toll... but It feels good to know that from where I came in 2010 till now... I am still 60 lbs down thanks to HCG....

Good to meet you. I am in my upper 50s (but look 10 years younger so they tell me) I'm an IT Manager , live in the Central Florida area. I originally was introduced to HCG when I went to see a new OB/GYN & Plastic Surgeon about having a breast reduction. They basically told me at that time, I should lose some weight first, since I was over 200 lbs. But they guaranteed I would lose at least 30 lbs using HCG , so my OB/GYN prescribed RX drops. I had never heard of HCG at that time, but after easily losing those initial 30 lbs, I just kept going and eventually got down to a weight I hadn't seen since high school, even though I was in my mid 40s by then. I love this protocol. I am one of few who loves P2. I like the guaranteed daily results, the euphoric feelings, making creative meals, and the fact that I also get lots of sleep as well.

Coco... same here Monday to friday I can leave ve P2 for 90% of my life... with the exception of not being allowed Wine or an end-of-day GnT

hi Ladies! Don't know if anyone else is following this thread now-but I think it is awesome, Flirty Flo, know its not your real name. Don't feel bad for being over 60, I am too. sdwis, I'm with you work to not look my age, Don't you know 60 is the new 50, or even younger if you choose. 50 the new 40! Like I said in my first blog coming back to hcg after 8-10 year absence (don't remember the 2013 hcg experience at all) we can choose to get Bolder, not older! Live in Kentucky, have one daughter and 5 grandsons, 6-22. They live in Virginia. Have really had a hard time with Covoid restrictions, haven't been with family for holidays or games since all the shutdowns. I'm so healthy, not afraid of getting Covoid, but plan to take vaccine I guess when it becomes available to my age group. I do not want to be restricted for traveling once things open up.

Not working now, I decided to quit (was working for a company that gets people very expensive cancer, immunotherapy medication without cost--very rewarding, but very stressful at times) decided to quit when I got a new Boston Terrier puppy. I was paying doggie daycare everyday for my other dog, a Staffy, and really wanted to raise this one myself. So I quit in November 2017 and left the following weekend to pick up Ozzy in West Virginia. So my current children are my 2 dogs, ages 4 and 2, Sophie and Ozzy. I have mixed feelings about quitting work. I miss the interaction with co-workers, and most friends are working still, but I don't miss the strict schedule. My husband has a small construction company, and his office is here at home, so he is in and out all the time. I was hoping to be visiting , and did visit family a lot before Covoid hit. Hope to get back to that soon. If I don't lose some of this weight they won't recognize me!��

Kelsey, my daughter is like you. She got married in college and had 5 children and she is just 42. All boys! You are likely feeding them all day long. That in itself is a challenge!

Don't know if anyone will ever see this, or read it, but if they do--great. I actually think FlirtyFlo, it was a great idea! I see you, read you on January loaders thread, but am glad I got to know you a little better here.

Yes my real name is in my signature... i just wanted to het my original profile back and this is Nickname I was given a long time ago.... Its nice to learn a bit more about the names behind the posts... we are more than the weight we want to lose... As much as I am a private person, being here is about committing all of me to the process

I too have an adorable spoilt furbaby... but I am lucky enough to work from home... have been for long before Covid... this past year has been tough as I am a social person and very limited contact with anyone outside the home... but yesterday everything changed quit a bit as the small group of people I do interact with has been affected yesterday...so its going to be a lonesome January... my close friend is now in isolation as from yesterday because her friend was directly exposed by a co worker who ironically is a health and safety officer who stupidly felt obliged to come to work regardless of being sick and now the company had to shut down for deep cleansing... so i will be doing the errands for them... another close friend I have been seeing in lockdown fell off a tall ladder yesterday and possibly broke his hip and is now in hospital... his wife like me is also high risk so we limited contact and now will stay away because hospitals here are rife and we need to ensure they are both exposed to as little outside contact as possible
