R1 P2 VLCD3 No Weight Loss- Not Even Loading Weight has Come Off

Hello friends, to start things off-

Iím female, 31 yrs old and 5í5.75Ē.
158ish pounds before loading due to a recent 15 pound weight gain from a stressful life event- this is new weight to me and my highest
    159.4 after loading

I have a medium build and would like to get down to an ideal weight of 130, 127 to be exact. However, I was comfortable at 135-140 for years so Iím flexible with what feels best for my body.

Started HCG by injection on this past Tuesday 04/17/2018 (Iím taking Nu Image Medicalís 26 day program with the added b12 in the bac water).
My loads were pretty intense and the first day was 90% clean (I had one cookie) and ended up being roughly 2700 calories of fats, and carbs. My second day was massive and I had three treats- probably a 70% clean load with everything else coming out to 4,800 calories.

During this period I went up from 158.7 to 159.4- felt completely gross despite such low gains on the scale. I was more than ready to start my VLCD!

Now that Iím starting day three, however, I was disappointed to weigh in this morning at 159.4 exactly. I expected to at the very least be back at my preload weight.

I did a homeopathic HCG in the past (7 or 8 years ago), and although now I believe it was probably bs and not even HCG, I still lost a pound a day for the first ten days. So, I was expecting similar results!

My diet has been on par with the original protocol,
With daily meals looking like this so far:
    -
Black coffee with stevia and one tablespoon unsweetened soy milk

100 grams lean beef with cherry tomatoes and a sprinkling of chopped onion (I read somewhere that the only vegetable combo Simeons endorsed was tomatoes and onions), stir fried with water, and a seasoning I mixed up with some salt, pepper, Apple cider vinegar, lemon, water, basil, and stevia.

    One medium green apple

100 grams chicken with any fatty bits removed and then tossed in lettuce with above mentioned dressing

    One half grapefruit

Hot white tea before bed. Or late in the afternoon on my second day I had a sparkling water energy drink (Hi Ball brand, no sweetener no calories).

The second day foods were the same except for dinner, where I had a pre-dinner smoothie made by blending strawberries and water, ice, half a lemon and some stevia followed by plain lean beaf with a broccoli soup (organic broccoli boiled in water, blended with that water plus some white pepper and salt- was careful to manage the calorie content before doing this).

I havenít checked my inches yet, and to be honest Iím worried to because I donít want to be even more disappointed. Even if itís only the potential for disappointment.

Anyway, I donít mean to make this so long, but wanted to provide ample info. As I start day 3 Iím wondering what my next steps should be. My current dose is 150, with the directions from NuImage being to start at 200 which seemed a little unnecessary.

Side effects have been hunger, but manageable, migraines that are barely manageable but Iíve been taking ibruprofen to help. Having lots of water and enjoying my foods for the most part. Feeling ok despite not losing!

    Recommendations and advice?

You may have eaten something during your load that caused some severe inflammation that will take another day or two to get off.

It's too early to assume that you won't be losing well in week one, since you've only had one weigh-in so far.

Your menu looks pretty good, except that soy milk and broccoli are not on protocol, and beef can be a problem for some, especially if eaten too frequently, or if the fat content is too high. Lean ground beef can be made leaner by rinsing well after browning with very hot water.

Its good you didn't go with the 200iu dose. It is too high for most people. 150iu is generally a good starting dose, and since you are not having extreme hunger, the bit of hunger you are experiencing is probably just normal. It is common to have a little hunger the first few days. Headaches too. You could try some peppermint tea for the headaches, it may help.

As Leez said, it's likely you ate something you were very sensitive to. I'd take a look at what you ate on your load days and see if you can pinpoint it because it's useful information for P3. Lots of dairy or gluten? Lots of nuts maybe? Or eggs?

Thank you for providing so much information.

It may be inflammation. But I'd try to stick to protocol exactly to make sure that's not the issue. This plan can be so touchy that even the most minor thing can cause issues, even when it seems impossible for it to do so. Stop mixing vegetables. Read P&I (link for Manuscript at the top of this page) to refresh your memory of what foods are allowed. Stop eating broccoli and choose from the original list of vegetables. Make sure your beef is very, very, very lean. Stop using soy milk (or soy anything). I'd probably be suspicious of the soy milk over any other item in your food list. I'd probably stop the energy drink for a few days and then if you really have to have it, add it back cautiously.
