    I知 scared of leaving p3

Hey guys! I知 terrified of leaving P3. I have been here for six weeks and I know I have to start targeting to P4, but I just don稚 want to gain weight. How do I make the switch and what starches should I start with?

The best thing to do is try a qtr or half sweet potato once on awhile. Then occasionally a little quinoa or pinto beans. Dd a few of these starches in occasionally and just keep track on the, scale, If you are eating lots of fats you may want to cut back a little for adding the starches. I think once you try these added starchy veggies and can maintain you wont worry so much. Staying mainly P3 with some added good carbs should work well. You can always go back to P3 if you have noticed an increase of more than two lbs on scale

I personally dont do well on bananas but others do fine, Maybe dont do the banana on same day eating sweet potato but i would definitely try half a banana on another day. So many fruits available but i usually always stick to two fruits a day even on P4
BTW I used to eat half piece of garlic bread at restaurant when i first did P4 and i was very nervous

I think it is good to dabble in some healthy carbs. I agree eat lower fat on days you are adding in carbs. Eat a little but do not make it the whole meal.

Hello. That is great that you are doing sooo awesome in P3!!!!! I am afraid to start it!!!!

I am new and I have been researching how to start the Phase 3 and I understand no sugar and starches. It's just that I have read sooo many blogs and stories of several of those who have completed this and their advice is a little different than the other. Like Inspired Girl's Guide and HCG Chica has a lot of great information but are totally different.

I wish there was something to tell me what to eat other than eating more protein and getting my calories up each week. I have to be honest, I am sick of steak, hamburger, and chicken! I do not eat eggs at all and can't have whey protein. I don't eat seafood really unless we go out and I sometimes get scallops or garlic shrimp but it has the garlic butter for dipping.

I started at 165 and I am currently at 135 and was thinking I could reach 125-120 by September. I am doing HCG injections and the place I am checking in with offers no help on this diet. They NEVER told me there were phases, stated it was "easy peasy." This is definitely not an easy diet but I do love my results. They stated to read Dr. S's book. I bought it, I read it, I also started researching this diet and found out soooo much they never told me and I found this forum. I started asking them questions, none of them have ever read the book, they didn't know about the phases etc...There isn't a Dr. there but she has a PHD and can give a prescription for the HCG. I have talked to her and asked questions but she only replies, "Do whatever." She is no help. I am literally on my own.

My concerns are: How did you start P3? I saw people were eating bacon. I have Sugar-Free bacon made by Field. How much bacon do people eat? How often? Does it replace protein? What about 99% fat-free Virgina Ham deli meat? I don't eat turkey.

Nuts: Some say don't eat them. I know raw organic almonds can be a good snack. So like 1/4 cup is 5 grams carbs is ok. Did you eat nuts?

Did you have a steak or apple day?

Did you count calories? Keep a Journal? Use My Fitness Pal App?

I apologize for all the questions. I am not sure about P3 especially when I don't understand how to start bringing in new foods and when to take them away. Like what to eat first.

Thanks for any advice you may have.

Sweet Potato doesn't agree with me for some reason in P4 (I gain 3 lbs.), but then again i have lots of issues with vegetables anyway. I'm different in P4, I can eat the following things in small amounts and actually lose depending on what I've had that day - Sugar, Croissants, Breaded Fried Meats, Candy, Rice - so I start with these.

You can have nuts in P3 if they agree with you. Nutbutters are a good way to get your calories up because they are so calorie dense. They are one of the most common food sensitivities though, so its good to make them a test.

Decide what P3 food you miss most and start with that. P3 is not hard unless you make it hard.
