    FAmily, it wouldn't hurt to keep them both out a few days then try adding coconut oil back in.

    Thank you, thank you, thank you! Sorry for all the questions. Thought I knew what to do reading everyone's else's experiences but when I saw the scale start creeping up, I guess I freaked out!

    Help!!! I am going to cry I am getting so frustrated. 2nd day of taking out coconut oil, dairy and nuts and eating "clean" and I woke up to GAINING 1.2 lbs. I am now 2.2 over my LIW. I am so frustrated I just can't figure out what is wrong. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

    Yesterday I was hungry and tried to eat to my hunger and stop when full. Here is what I ate:

    Made a whole pitcher out of 5 lemons and liquid stevia and drank lemonade through the day...
    Breakfast: plain black espresso (yuck)
    Lunch: Taco salad (everything is SF). 8 oz. chicken, 2 cups lettuce, 1/2 cup black olives, salsa
    Snack: apple and 20 pepperoni
    Snack #2 (hungry an hour later) Turkey slices rolled around bacon bits
    Dinner: 8 oz. filet mignon (super lightly salted) and 1 onion carmelized in olive oil
    Snack: (was hungry again) 6 oz. raspberries
    Dranks tons of water and lemonade through the day

    What in the world am I doing wrong?????? Today P3D14. I haven't cheated, and I think I am eating right but I am still gaining. I am so discouraged and I just don't know what to do.....please help!!!!!

    And do I have any chance of stabilizing or am I wasting my P3 time by this gaining? If it takes me 4-5 weeks to figure out what I can eat, will I stabilize or am I always going to have troubles? I mean, I haven't even added in dairy, nuts, etc yet cause I can't get my weight to stay even just eating non troublesome foods.

    Do I need more fats? Less calories? Where am I going wrong?

    It can take a while for the inflammation to die down. Today's gain is probably from your last day of eating those other things and it appears it was a Fage day? If so, it's the inflammation to dairy kicking back, most likely. And you're not getting much fat though, at least it doesn't look like it to me. Try your coffee with butter like I said. Google bulletproof coffee. It's delicious and most who can't have dairy can do the butter just fine. Also you're not eating breakfast. Try the leptin thing. Eat a huge breakfast, 25 grams of protein. That's about 4 eggs. Or 3 eggs with some bacon or sausage.

    You can stabilize, honey. the first week can always be a little scary.

    OK, I hate eggs so that is why I have had problems with breakfast..... can't figure out what to eat with no eggs and no dairy. And I couldn't find sausage or bacon with out sugar in the ingredients. Usually I would have a latte, yogurt or protein shake and those all are out. Guess I will cook up some chicken or something. Unless you have other suggestions? But today is day 14 of P3, that is why I am getting scared I won't set......

    Hi I am in week 3 of P3 (Round 1). I just wanted to throw my 2 cents in. I noticed your weight and height (5'11" and 147-149?) Charts put that at 135-159 for small/medium framed- BMI is at 20 (which is getting to the lower end). Anyway, I went nuts if I went even .4 over my LDW, so I understand!!! But you might be getting close to a set point for your body as you are no means overweight at all. So all the "abnormal fat" might be gone.

    But on the food, have you thought about cutting the bacon/pepperoni? I know so delicious, but chalked full of sodium (causes water retention). I haven't had any "cured" meats on P3 at all. Started really working out hard, and inches are coming off, but weight stabilizing. Are you working out? This has allowed me some "cheats" without gaining. But I DO NOT recommend going off protocol, ESPECIALLY in P3. I only introduced one new item every 2-3 days. So i just ate more of P2 foods, but coconut oil in the coffee and all the vegetables (except the no-nos). Then one day one slice of mozzarella, then 2 days later, olive oil, then mayo, cream etc.... I haven't even eaten red meat (because for me it's too heavy and I go over). Make sure everything you are eating is something you never stalled (on p2) or gained, even if it's P2 friendly.

    I know how hard it is - I didn't stabilize until the 2nd 3rd week of P3 - then 9 days, haven't gained an oz. and am a little under LDW. You can do it!!! I was all over the map the first week- week and 1/2.

    I just read familyseaside's entries and all I can say is ditto, ditto, ditto. Today is D12 of phase 3 and no two days have been the same; up one day and up again than down like a roller coaster ride. I have yet to see me LWI 151. I am wondering if and how to start phase 3 from scatch again. Does anyone out there know if this is possible? Do I go back to just meat and vegetables of phase 3? Can't tell you how discouraged I am. By the way what is FFF and did you find out what bulletproof coffee is?

    Yes you can go back to just meat, veggies and fruit, finerhalf. FFF is Full Fat Fage which is Greek yogurt. But I wouldn't eat it when you're unstable. Just google bulletproof coffee.
