Thread: VLCD1 - Started period on day 1! HELP!

  1. #11
This is thread is 5 years old. I don't know if anyone will see this or respond. The same thing happened to me. I started my TOM early on Day 2 of Loading. I've read that I need to stop my injections on my heavy days, but here it sounds like people just continued.. Any advice?

You cannot skip a day until you have had 4 injections. But its no problem to continue. Many do not skip for their TOM anymore, but you can skip on the heaviest day if you like. Since you can't skip till injection day 5 anyway, if today is your heavy day, just continue on. You will be fine.

This is exactly what happened to me this morning. Already took my HCG and I'm on VLCD5. Didn't make it to being on HCG 10 days before cycle.

Oh what to do? Orginial protocol says to skip HCG dose on cycle. It's also says to plan the the protocol so you have at least 10 day on HCG brfore TOM . And lastly to start round after TOM.

Well thats not happening ...Only option now is to move toward and figure out if I should NOT skip dosage being im only 7 days into this round.

    Any advice out there?

You can choose to skip on your heaviest day or not. If you are doing a long round, you can start skipping in the second week and you'll be fine. If you are not doing a 40 dose round, or are not on RX injections, you don't need to skip at all.

For a lot of us, taking the hcg makes our period arrive early so you can't really plan when that's going to happen. Or for some it arrives late, not at all, occurs for the whole time on hcg, happens every two weeks, etc. For me, I start the hcg and exactly two weeks later, I get my period no matter where I am in my cycle.

Anyway, Jesse B, I clicked on this post to tell you exactly what Leez just did. Skip on your heaviest day if you want, but you don't have to.
