    i about broke down last night its really cooking for my kids and husband but im @ 181 and im not hugry today at all but i do have a really bad headache and no energy

    Starting Weight 09/15 - 184.2
    Cleanse 9/18-9/20- 182.2 (-2)
    Loading 9/21-9/22- 185.6 (+3.4)
    VLCD 1 9/23 - 182.4 (- 3.2)
    2 9/24 - 181 (-2.4)
    3 9/25 - 182.2 (doc said i had to take the day off cuz of migraine =( )

    I keep having headaches too. Usually in the evening.... not sure why. But they're not horrible or anything.

    went off the drops for the day gonna pick it back up tomorrow but had a major migraine and had to get a steroidal injection and take my migraine meds and my doc
    told me to eat at least 2000 healthy calories today =/ ugh up to 182.2 again =( this sucks =( get to go back to diet tomorrow but im worried i might stall and my doc said everytime i get a migraine like this i need to take the day off the drops and the vlcd =(

    hi everyone,

    so this post is meant to encourage anyone who is already on the hcg diet or thinking about it.

    I think the trick to success is in drinking loads of water, and when i say loads, i mean "loads"

    loading days went fairly ok, wasn't too hard to eat all the nasty stuff i wasn't usually allowed to but day two of the vlcd was very interesting.

    when i climbed on the scale i had the shock of my life! i had lost 5lbs!!
    day three lost another 5lbs.
    day 4 stalled, and day 5 i lost 0.5 lbs.

    this is interesting in so many ways.
    the changes to my body are amazing.

    first of all my skin and teeth are looking really really better (must be all that water i'm drinking). kinda hard to explain but looks like a glow
    i feel soo much healthier and lighter and my clothes are starting to feel a tad bigger than normal.

    secondly, my bp has dropped to very impressive levels. i have a high bp problem which is another reason i'm on the hcg diet.

    i'm on day 6 now and i promised myself to stick it out for the whole 42 days.

    The weekend was very tempting for me because i went for a reunion meeting with all kinds of finger foods and drinks but i just walked out when it was time to eat (that's amazing even for me).

    the down side was the first three days of the vlcd i used to get weak and sleepy in the afternoons but that passed on day 4.

    So, keep trying, remember even if you fall off and eat something you're not supposed to, it's going to 1) hurt your progress and 2) get back on the hcg plan and keep at it.

    It's not going to be easy but it gets easier every day.

    Remember to drink water, if there's one thing that keeps me going, it's all the water i'm drinking.
    It helps with the hunger, headaches and general overall feeling.

    Audrey, I think we're at the same starting weight... I was 180 after the loading phase. I'm so sorry you had to stop the drops for the day and that you had a migraine. I thought I was going to have one this morning too, but the weird feeling i get when it comes on went away before it got worse. I thought I knew all my triggers (nitrates) but maybe there are others I have yet to discover on this diet. I sure hope not...

    went back to my neurologist and i have to quit until the 8th =( until i can get all the Maxalt outta my system i cant put hhcg in it reacts badly =( so im reloading on the 8th and the 9th

    Well my first days I tried to eat as much "forbidden" foods and gained about 2 pounds....
    So far its been going well (8 pounds down!) I just get compulsive about checking the scale haha

    How about you?

    I just got done loading. But I am going to a clinic and they said I could only eat
    Avocado
    Almonds
    Peanut Butter
    Cream Cheese
    High Fat Stake
    Cheese
    Butter
    Cream Sauce and Olive Oil.

    Ugh.... I feel like a brick! Today I am off loading and on to greener Pastures! But still limited. They want me to do their shakes and their supplements but I just could not swing the cost! The shots are %40 a week but when you add all the other on to it you are looking at $85 a week! OUCH plus how is adding all that in going to tech me to eat the right way? So I will go and get my shots and read all I can on line about the right food to eat and hope I do not lose my lean body fat.

    OH! and HI i am new and this is my 1st post Nice to join you all!
