Thread: New years eve loaders???

    I'm with you guys. Day 4 of 500 cals. I have been hungry though, not unbearable. I've lost 4 of the 20 needed. It great to have a buddy system. I love the cabbage rolls on found on the HCG Diet recipe thread.

    I will have to check them out, I have still yet to try cabbage on this diet.

    That is great ~ I need some celery sticks for when i need something to munch on after dinner when I am also still a bit hungry! I also lost 2.2! I hope these huge losses continue throughout this round!


    Anybody have an opinion on Coconut oil on P2?

    Agree.....some veer off protocol but for me i will stick totally to it...at least for this round one anyway...if i succeed at this round i may test the waters a small amount on my next round...but i want this to succeed so badly that i am willing to be bored with my food for a month!!!!!

    I have used Coconut oil but not in P2. I will most likely try it sometime during this round when I get bored and need a little extra something. I find it has a somewhat sweet taste. Would be good to use a small amount with fish.

    Yeah, I only want to use a small amount for cooking. I have read mixed reviews.... I order some so I may try it. i think I have thyroid issues and I read that it helps with that. We'll see! Let me know how if goes for you!

    Day 4 VLCD

    Hi everyone. Today is my 4th day of the VLCD and my very first round of HHCG. I have been doing good besides the occasional headache. I woke up this morning feeling nauseous, light headed and shaky. I ate an apple and drank some water and felt better, but still a bit nauseous now. I was told by a friend who has done this before that this is normal the first week as the body is detoxing. I just wanted to get some opinions from all of you and some suggestions. So far I am very happy with the diet. On my load days I only gained 1.8 though I ate soooo much food and drank so much junk. So far I have lost a total 5.8 which makes me VERY happy. I am looking forward to completing this diet and a happy and healthier me.

    Welcome Sporty, I do believe it is detox you are feeling. It should not last very long. I had that feeling on day VLCD 1.

    Gator-Id try and eat fruit before you go & take some celery with you to munch on. Others have had success while traveling but I have heard a lot take their own foods. Salad is always an option if you are willing to mix veggies.

    AFM Down 2 today Ah almost a week in, hip hip hooray. Looks like everyone else is hanging in there. Im expecting my losses to dwindle down as usual. Im trying fajitas today (mixed veggies) last round with only chicken & onion it caused a stall/slight gain but I figured I will try again...knock on wood no issues.

    Id be too chicken to do wine @ night...sugar & I at night=not a happy scale in the morning. Good luck to you and enjoy the wine for us

    Sporty-You may want to eat small portions throughout the day so break your foods up if you are still feeling shaky BUT you really shouldnt be. Its likely detox from all the sugars/carbs, toxins, etc that your body is used to.

    Good Morning

    Hope everyone is having good losses and not too much hunger. My weightloss slowed down. I knew it couldn't keep at the pace it was. I only lost 1/2 pound yesterday, but the first 2 days of vlcd, i lost 11. It was all the crap I loaded on. Now the real fat reserves are being released! I lowered my dose a little because I had hunger and weakness issues yesterday, so we'll see how that goes. So far today, I feel pretty good.
