ForMyKids: No better day to start than today

Sciilink: I"m going to do the exercise I normally do (one hour on the elliptical three times a week), plus hiking on the weekends, and some yoga. I'm not adding any new exercises and I"m actually going 'slow' with the normal ones. I've been having terrific losses and I don't want to screw that up. I am lifting light weights for my arms twice a day because I can't afford for them to get any more flabby lol.

HelloKitty: My hunger was the very worst on the first 2 low calorie days and then smooth sailing (not even hungry once) until day 10. I was hungry the last 2 days but took a bit less hcg in the shot this morning (went from .25cc to .23, basically just a change in the meniscus reading), but I am not at all hungry today! Hope that little adjustment was all that was necessary.

    Newgirl & Lisa: Welcome aboard!

Weather finally broke here in Michigan. Time for some fun yard work!

    Have a great evening,

    Wanderer
Good to know! People must think I'm crazy at work...I've been eating my lunch at 1030 in the morning cause I'm STARVING! But I woke up to a 3 pound loss...so it must be working! Got to get my yard work on this weekend too!

Newgirl99- I'm sure it's a huge shock to the body to do this, I can't imagine doing the injections but I heard they work wonderfully! I'm doing the RX Pellets so it'll be exciting to see how they both go! You can do it!! Just keep checking back here so we can keep you motivated!!

Lisa415-Welcome!! Have fun loading! I'm doing a 43 round so hopefully I can keep up with it, I'm sure you'll do great with a 28 day round!! Gosh, and summer is right around the corner too!!

Micha- that's awesome! Where are you going for vacation?? What motivation! I have a wedding in July so that's definitely my motivation...and I can't slack!

So, glad the hunger is gone now! Today was easy and my boyfriend BBQ'd some bass he caught the other day which was amazing. I normally hate fish so I'm glad I could get it down. I'm going to take some measurements tonight and maybe a picture or two. It's only day 2 but I'm pumped about it, I'm not telling anyone I'm on it for a while, it seems like people react better to being on a clean eating/exercise diet so I'm making it appear like that's what I'm doing!
This is my second round...I don't remember being hungry this much, but it must be like child birth and you forget the pain ;-) I tell people the same thing about eating clean...it's basically true and just easier to explain. Good luck!

Mornin' (Afternoon!) to everyone! I'm really enjoying reading your posts and want to thank you all for joining in this group - the support and accountability is priceless!

I'm down .4 today - VLCD8. I expected it, as I didn't get in all my water yesterday, was hungrier than normal, and O.D'ed on rotisserie chicken. LOL! By O.D. I mean I had double the amount of chicken at dinner (7 oz.) Even when I "cheat," I measure and journal it, so I at least can keep track of what is happening.

@Chad: Yah, you have to be a regular Sherlock with the labels on everything you buy! Some pretty innocent-looking foods are loaded with stuff that can stall you. Get familiar with all the terms on labels that really mean SUGAR or SALT! I think a good approach is to not buy anything with unpronounceable ingredients! Look for a decent chicken broth or stock that is salt-free - you can spice it up with stuff that won't mess you up. You've both had great losses, though, so just keep going!

@Blessed: I hear ya on the coffee! Arrggh! I'm a coffee freak and really missing the creamer, right now. I bought some coconut coffee (Green Mountain) to mix into my regular coffee. I brew it, add some stevia, and it's pretty tasty.

@Wanderer: You ROCK the freakin Casbah, Lady! You're doing so great!

@NorthernLights: I think you'll do just great - doing wonderful so far! What is great about the protocol is that it resets your hypothalamus, and improves metabolic function - for good - as long as you pay attention in P4 to the foods that trigger a weight spike. I have had weight difficulties since turning 40, too. It's probably just natural, but I don't want to be a frumpy 50, I want to be 50 & Fab! I have a few years to go, but I'm hoping this round does it once and for all for me.

@Micah: Good plan! Most people get a great reward for dropping the grissini/melba and sticking to just one fruit per day. I think you should look at *exactly* what you ate two days ago. Whatever that was is most likely what caused the gain today. Don't worry though, your strategy will get you right back on track!

@Niane: I'm so sorry to hear about Snickers! Make sure you leave out a little fresh food for him, in case he comes home, and maybe a t-shirt of yours so he "remembers" you if he comes back to the yard. If he's not neutered, he might be out prowling?? I'm thinking of you, and sending Snickers a psychic "GO HOME" message! Congrats on your awesome weight loss, too!

My wife made a wonderful shredded chicken and tomato recipe.

We ordered some Miracle noodles. Supposed to be calorie free and no carbs.

    Should be there tomorrow.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Checking in... Down .4 again. A loss is a loss I guess. I was hoping for a little higher but there is always tomorrow. I thought maybe it was the green beans but TOM may be to blame. Something has to be to blame right? Oh well. It is a BEAUTIFUL day out today though. Kids even played outside in the water. 85 here. I am excited to get my garden started next week. Spring is here! (I hope I didn't jinx it...)

vlcd day 2, going ok, feeling sort of hungry or empty but usually have to stuff my meals down. Fat deposits feel different and clothes fit better. Down 1.6 from yesterday. YAY!
I've heard that doing something for 21 days creates a habit, so I should get used to this right before I get off it LOL

Man i want coffee so bad when i look outside!! LOL
That's the second person who says they want coffee but can't have it. Is that because you don't take it black or is it now forbidden?

Wonderer: that’s awesome! I probably won’t work out that much but I definitely plan on running here and there. I’m going to focus more on my overall well being and measurements than my weight loss. I need to lift as well but I think I might wait until afterwards because I know it makes you retain water. It looks like your losing pretty consistently! That amount of weight loss in that amount of time is amazing!! I love it!!! And yes, I figure no one really needs to know what I’m doing right now. If the truth comes out one way or another that’s fine but I want to start losing first!

Healthy mama: I’m the same way as far as grapefruit goes! Hopefully it’s not the green beans J I’m trying to eat more grapefruit but I do not like them. I heard if you broil them, it makes them taste a lot better. I’ve never tried it but I guess it caramelizes it a bit..Just a thought if you ever have to eat them again! I might try that way and see how it works.

Topaz ox: yes I’m doing a 40 day round! Yes, I haven’t had any melba toast yet this round and I don’t think I will, I’m going to stick with fruit, veggies and meat—but I might take your advice and cut out the fruit in the evening. My biggest struggle is eating early in the day, because it doesn’t get dark here until like 9-9:30 so it feels like 3 when it’s really 6p! Anyway, I did really good yesterday and I’m just going to take it one day at a time. I think I can get down to 130 but my scale is off so I’m not really sure what I weigh right now haha. I haven’t started running yet, because it was raining yesterday but the sun is out and I’m ready to hit the road today! Can’t wait!! Hopefully I have enough energy to run!
Deborah: Australia sounds amazing!! You’ll be tiny by January!!

Northern Light: Your goals sound very doable with a 43 day round! I’m only on day 3 so I’m right behind you but my goals are about the same as yours!
Micha: Weddings are extremely motivating in my opinion! I can’t cheat, even if I wanted to because I only have a grace period of 3 weeks once I get on maintenance and I have to be able to fit in my dress which doesn’t fit right now ironically! Haha…I ordered it like that though. It’s almost like a high school reunion too because both the bride and groom are from the same high school I went to so I’m excited to say the least!!!! Although…I have a wonderful 6 a.m. flight I get to catch the following day, so I won’t be able to party TOO hard…or as my mom said, “Well…you only have to get on the plane, right?” haha

Niane: I hope you find your kitten L that’s heartbreaking...I just love cats, let us know if you find him. Sending prayers your way.

Chad: you’ll have to let us know how the miracle noodles go! I’ve been thinking about getting them myself, has anyone else had experience with them?

Well, I’d tell you all how much I lost except I have no idea?? My scale is giving me different weights every time I get on it. It’s gone between 143-147.8 so that’s just awesome! I think it was because it wasn't level so I have it the bathroom now so that should help. I think I'm about 145lbs but we'll get a good weigh in tomorrow morning! Anyway, I did great yesterday! My goal each day is to drink enough water and eat dinner at an early time! I succeeded! Today’s goals are water, walking and eating dinner early (without a fruit for dinner today…). BTW to the Colorado ladies, I just moved from Denver to Idaho in November and I miss it soooo much even with the snow. I loved my church flat irons…best church EVER. Anyway, enough about reminiscing…it’s beautiful out today! Can’t wait to get off work and go mushroom picking!!!!!
