Congrats Spedie on the successful installation of the Porch light. ugh, that reminds me I have to fix mine as well. Upside it just needs a bulb! lol I just keep forgetting about it. Looking forward to your big swoosh!

    Wow Kelly you're doing fantastic!

Blue, I'm impressed you stayed on protocol whilst traveling. I'm going to have to pick your brain on how you did it. I have some travel plans coming up in 16 days, I have to decide to either stay on protocol or just phase to p3. Either way I am happy you got to spend time with your grand baby.

Well I finally encountered the mythical unicorn after dosing on the Mag Cit. Wow that stuff works! taste totally disgusting but it works. I think I'll look for the pills that Sunny mentioned. Upside, I'm down a pound after being in 4 day stall. I broke the into the 150's, lets hope it sticks.

I was taking intermountain hhcg but I felt hunger constantly on it, even after upping the dose and lowering I just felt like I wanted to gnaw my hand off. On vlcd 13 I switched to shots. Once I found where I sat on the dosing (120) life has been better in the realm of hunger. And I've dropped 2 lbs since I started injections.

I'm glad I made the switch. I just wish I had done all the proper research before I started this journey. I would have saved myself some frustration! I've come accept that this first round was a learning curve for me and any loss is a good thing.

@Speedie: super impressed that you do you own electrical work. I call for help if the lightbulb that needs changed is too high to reach from the floor.

@Kelly... 17 pounds in 17days. You are my thinspiration! In all my rounds, I seldom have a whole pound loss in a day after the first week. If I could do anything even close to that, I would be ecstatic.

LCD Day #5 for me, and *drum roll.....* tada! down a whole pound.

    Hey Ladies,

So today I had my first gain .6 up this morning..... ugh I have no idea what happened I stayed pop the past few days. Last night I did switch out my normal salad for a pickle since I was out of spinach and cabbage and I had chili for lunch so maybe that was it? I am not sure. It could also be lack of walking the past 2 days, it has been POURING here in DC the past few days so my dog has not been able to go out for the long walks I normally take him on everyday. Anyway I am not happy about a gain but my losses have been really good so far so I will take it in stride and keep on going! I also think that I am going to get new batteries for my scale. Seems like everyone else had losses so that's great!! Keep it up!

Anybody else have a "sweet spot" on the floor for their scale?

I have a 100 year old house with hardwood floors, and I find that there is one particular spot I can locate Evil Talking Scale that gives me a lower reading than placing it somewhere else. Guess where I make sure the scale is located? haha!

Now I'm wondering if changing the batteries might "friendly" it up more.... hmmm

I know its a mind game... but you do what you gotta to get through the day!

Leez- I have a really hard time in my new apartment with scale placement. We have tile floors that were clearly not leveled so I literally have to step on my scale about 10 times every morning. I keep moving it and moving it until i get the SAME number at least 3 times in a row in different places. It is really frustrating because there are places where the number is absurdly high or absurdly low. I just try to be as honest with myself as possible and put in the number that is reasonable, I am not doing myself any favors by picking the lowest number and knowing its inaccurate.

Hi, everyone. Well, I weighed today against my better judgment after traveling yesterday - up 1# from the last weight at my daughters. Now, it could just be the difference in scales (I used hers), or more than likely it's due to swelling - my rings are a bit tight today. Regardless, I'm down a total of 7# in 14 days which is right at the expected average. I'm actually happy with that as I don't have a lot to lose, am on meds that definitely could impact losses, and I'm fitting in my jeans now that I couldn't a couple of weeks ago - YAY!! So, I'll hold the course until at least May 11, that would be my 24th dose.

cpthomson, ask any questions that come to mind! I was fortunate that I could cook whatever I wanted at daughters this trip. In previous rounds, I was traveling A LOT for business as well, both by car and flying. It can be tedious, but it's definitely possible to stay on protocol Just keep in mind you may gain a bit from the travel, so give yourself a day or two after returning to get a true weight.

Leez - HAHA I do the same thing. Our house was built in 1890. I'll move the scale around for the perfect spot!

Down another 1.4 lb! I can't believe how much better my pants fit in just 3 days. I know some of it was bloat from TOM, but they were snug before that. They feel so much better. Can't wait until they are super comfortable or falling off!
    Heaviest weight - 255

    Round 1
    Pre-Loading weight - 244.3
    Post-Loading Weight - 246.8
    P2 Week 1 - 238.6 (+0.8)

    P2D8 - 236.8 (-1.8)

Back after a year hiatus and 30 lb gain

cruz, glad that worked to solve the hunger issues. Chili always makes me gain too. I tried it once during one of my prior cycles. I think I was up like 1.6 pounds and I thought "not fair, I didn't eat that much".
    MC, awesome loss
annicade, awesome job! you're rocking this.
    Blue, welcome back
Kelly, nice loss! you have an amazing average loss.
Spedie, a loss is a loss
cpt, Mag Citrate the bittersweet remedy. lol
    Leez, grats on a pound!

    ____________

As for me, I'm down 1 pound even today. Yay!

Yeah Julie... I love that when you can say "I'm down a pound today" and you're not even rounding it off. *savors the moment knowing it won't last much longer*

What is it about the chili that is the problem? Is it the beef/tomato combo or is it maybe the chili spice? Chili powder is ground up chili peppers which are not protocol, so I've always wondered about that.

    Hello -

I'm on vlcd 11 today. I was down .3 yesterday and .4 today. Not as big of numbers as I would like but I'll take each and every loss. Fingers crossed for big numbers for us all tomorrow.

    Have a great night!

Working my tail off at the tradeshow, watching everyone walk by me with the free ice cream and bits of candy from the others booths...ugh. I'm hanging tough. Did really well with my drive. Snacked on my chicken and some grape Tomatos throughout my drive here. My aunt asked me to dinner, but opted to get a mani/pedi instead and had some curried chicken on a bed of spinach for dinner. I did try some of that Waldens salad dressing on it...hope tha was ok. I'm really trying to stick to pop.
One of the booths here has a scale, but it's it calibrated inncorrectly (that's my story and I'm sticking to it)...stupid thing said I was up 3 lbs...nope, nu uh, I refuse to believe it.
I'll just wait and see how I weight in on Monday on my own darling little scale.
    Start weight 166.2 on 4/22/14
    Loading weight 166.7 on 4/23
    VLCD week 1 -6.3 weight 160.4
    VLCD week 2 -4.4 weight 156.0
    VLCD15 0.0 =156.0
    VLCD16 -.6 =155.4
    VLCD17 -.2 =155.2
    VLCD18 +.2=155.4 😱
    VLCD19 biz trip! No scale!
    VLCD20 biz trip! No scale!
    VLCD21 -2 = 153.4 😜😜😜
    VLCD22 +.2= 153.6
    VLCD23 -.4= 153.2
    NO HCG DAY 1 -1 = 152.2
