Good evening everyone. Glad to see that everybody had a good day.

I was down .8lbs today. Doesn't seem like a lot since it is only VCLD4. But I know working nights is going to affect that daily number. I'm gonna have to just look at the weekly and concentrate on that.

I'm gonna basically weigh myself after I sleep. Sometimes that will be in the morning and sometimes that will be in the afternoon. You gotta do what you gotta do. It is better for me to see a slight loss than to see a gain at this point.

More than that, getting enuff sleep is very important.
I've seen folks who weigh weekly and thats fine unless you ate off prot and you wanna see how it affects your loss.
    whatever is good for you.
so being nosy and from Illinois... what's your job that you sleep at diff times? Im a farmer and off until march.
    good luck.

Keep on keeping on girl!!! I try to stay away from the scale except right when I wake. Otherwise I will drive myself crazy!

VLCD4 today, down 8lbs total! Whoop whoop!!! Hopefully the no hunger reward will hit soon, because I'm still hungry. I'm eating all my food for now...eventually I hope to give up the breadsticks/melba. I like to leave those as rewards on stressful days.

Good luck to everyone today!!! XOXOXO

Holy moly - I am a little flipped out. In one day lost not only load weight, but some extra. 6.7 lbs on 1st VLCD.
HOLY MOLY. I am assuming I can expect this every day? seriously, so grateful.
Before I posted, I had pickles last night, making sure to carefully read ingredients. ( a habit since doing WW when I was 12- 43 years ago!) Grammy had posted in the past that just the vinegar kinds are ok. But I understand needing to be careful.
Kansas - making your own- great idea. I am impressed! How long do you let them marinate?

    Good morning!

Welcome to all you newcomers. And a big whoop-whoop to all you LOsERs!!!! I'm blown away with how much some can lose in just one day. Amazing. I lost 2# on VLCD3 and was SHOCKED, otherwise 0.5 to 1 lb is my norm. I'll take it.

Since the beginning I've struggled with not feeling right. I've been working with Grammy to figure out dose, but I'm quite discouraged. I'm a person that enjoys amazing health with a good strong constitution and oodles of energy so when my body feels out of sorts, I get grouchy and surly. This regiment has me all out of sorts. I feel like sh**, my mind is all a muddle and I'm ready to throw in the towel and just go back to eating healthy and live with these extra pounds that won't budge no matter what i do. At least I feel good, my mind is sharp, and I enjoy good health. Even when I've done liquid cleanses for nearly 2 weeks I've not felt this bad. It's just not worth it. I so envisioned having my "skinny, lean girl" emerge from under all the pocket of excess fat, but....

Any words of wisdom or encouragement?

2013 sorry to hear you are struggling, I hope you can figure this out. Maybe you need a whole new method. Everyone responds differently to hcg. I know injections are the gold standard, but I feel so much better on homeopathic pellets, it's no contest for me. And once I tried the Rx pellets and it was a disaster; I was absolutely famished and had to throw in the towel immediately. I have two bottles of the same brand of pellets, and one bottle makes me weepy and emotional; the other doesn't.

If these drops aren't working, maybe another method will; pellets, injections, the patch - you have options. Good luck!
    Owl righty then!

Today is my VLCD1 - loading was just plain funny. I've been on a reduced calorie/increased exercise "diet" since 11/22 and had lost 10lbs before Load Day #1. I ate and ate and ate both days and... lost .6 when I weighed in this morning! I ate everything in those two days that I expected I'd have a craving for in the next week or two - and can't imagine ever eating any of that again!

I'm also amazed at the lack of hunger. I'm not a huge breakfast person, but when I woke up this morning I was starving. I went about my morning routine - let my dogs out, used the bathroom, weighed in and did my injection all while wondering if I'd make it without food. Sure enough, less than an hour after the injection and after one cup of coffee, I'm not the least bit hungry. I portioned out some chicken and shrimp for meals the next couple days and am really excited to officially start!

    Round 1 - RX Injections. 1/8/13, VLCD 1 lost 21lbs!
    Round 2 - RX Injections. VLCD1 - 4/21
(ticker includes loss for both rounds!)

    down .2
    Lauren: great loss

Randy: the longer you let it sit, covered the better, usually overnite but not always.

2013: give it 3 days or so from last, correct dosage correction or, like ruby said, some methods are better than others, you don't have to stop to switch methods

Mel: I take the hcg first then do chores, cuz i feel hungrier if i don't good for you good luck

Thanks Kansas - hey we all have those moments of wanting day or drink something. It's life. Glad you enjoyed the coconut milk in your coffee.

Thanks for the welcome Lauren. Glad you enjoyed your diet cherry coke. I bought the soda maker for friends who are always wanting soda as I often don't have any in the house. But I did indulge before I started the VLCD. I did make up what is called diet grapefruit soda, but haven't tried it yet.

    Have a great day

Vegas - Yay! I'm glad I'll have a loading buddy!

2013 - Don't give up! My first round, I felt terrible for about 2 weeks until I got my drops right (which prompted my first cheat binge and off protocol restart -- not recommended). I've seen (and would have personally experienced if I hadn't restarted) a lot of horror stories about completely stopping mid-round, it seems to really throw the body off and people seem to gain a lot (like 10lbs in a few days..bad stuff). If you're feeling nervous about how your drops are working, I would try switching either brands or methods (pellets, injections, patches, etc.) and continue your current drops until they arrive. My SIL and I did drops the first time, and she did pellets for her second round and felt 100% better than R1 (lost more consistently too!). Thats why I'm switching to pellets for this round!
As far as giving up and eating "healthy," I thought I could do that after my first round to lose the rest, and can honestly say that nothing has worked better for me than HCG, I've lost a few pounds here and there, but its never been stable like my HCG losses! I'd say, tough it out for a short round (at least 23 days) and at least you'll know you've lost stable weight!
I hope you feel better soon, I know the fogginess and grumpiness isn't fun (I'm a monster when I'm hungry, so R1 initially stunk!), but when you make it through, it'll all be worth it!

Welcome to everyone else new to the thread! Can't wait to start losing with you!
