I got pictures of me in the same outfit at 173 lbs, 163 lbs and 150 lbs. Shows a better comparison. Still got my hips, not sure those are going to go away no matter how much I lose! ha ha!

Glad everyone is doing good. Princess you look great. Congrats! Tracie, whats a smoothie day? I am stabilizing 0.2 above LIW. I went up to 2lbs over on Monday but today I am back down so that was definately water weight. I really want to start round 2 now. I want to lose my last 15-20!!! I know i have to be patient. Hope everyone has an amazing day and week! Skinny, glad you are feeling better. Gummi, be strong. I cant imagine how hard it is for you when your DH doesnt support your efforts.

Hello everyone, quick check-in and update! Weighed in the past week at 116.2 (0.2 below LDW!) and feeling very stable! I'm eating upwards of 80 net carbs per day and feeling great. Technically I have one more day of P3 (today was P3Day20), but I'm going away this weekend, and wanted to clear bananas at least before we go, so I'm making tomorrow my first day of P4! I'm not too concerned since I've been so stable and eating a lot of fruit. I'm definitely excited to start P4 and adding some more variety into my diet! It'll also be nice to not have to scour those ingredient labels so carefully for any trace of sugar, LOL!

Princess- You look great! You've made a lot of progress and should be very proud of yourself! As far as your hips, I'm not seeing them LOL. One thing I've learned through this process is that no one sees us quite the way we do, but also that its important to accept our body shapes. For me, I know I'm never going to have straight "thighless" legs, my legs are built muscular naturally and always have been! The real journey is accepting and loving the bodies we have. We can get them into the healthiest condition possible, but in the end it really comes down to accepting what we have, and being thankful for our health! You've done wonderfully, and it shows! Keep up the good work!

Tracie- Glad your smoothie day worked!!

Jackie - Glad you're stabilizing! Don't worry about the 0.2, its nothing really in the end and it'll be history once you start your next round! Be patient and relax in the process, a good stabilization makes for a good next round!

Hope everyone is well, I didn't have time to scroll back through too many posts! Good luck to everyone, and wish me luck on my first day of P4!!

Trace: Smoothie day? Is this a protein shaek day? let me know I get soo soos hungry on only prot shake and apple

Princess: you lose how you lose and the key word is............LOSE. Stabilizing is more important than fast loss.

Morning everyone, I'm on my phone and at work so please forgive any spelling errors....

Skinny: I'm glad you're feeling better and stabilizing.

Lynne and Jackie: I know how frustrating the time between rounds can be. I think I jumped into R2 too quickly and that contributed to my cheating issues. P2 ends for me tomorrow (40 days) and I'll be starting R3 on May 1.... If I hadn't cheated, I wouldn't need R3, but hey, it's a lesson learned.

Princess: those are awesome pics! We're pretty close... I was 168 in Oct, 150 in Dec and currently at 138.2 I took pics too but since I was in a bikini, I won't be sharing...lol, it's not a pretty sight!

Tracey: great loss! What is a shake day?

Kansas: I'm sorry you had to do another CD.... I'm afraid I'll be doing the same thing for a while. I have to admit, I'm totally jealous that you have a greenhouse. We're going into our second year in the new house ( well it's a 70 yr old farmhouse in the middle of town but it's new to me) and it has a 1000 sq ft garden that I'm experimenting with.... I may need some advice, specially if you grow pumpkins or watermelon... It didn't go well at all last year

As for me, lots going on. My daughter is doing very well and is down 10 lbs. I'm really proud of her for sticking it out, specially since she's a truck driver and it's difficult to follow such a restrictive program when you're living in a truck. My hubby went on a trip with her to Edmonton this week and when they got back, he told me he really feels horrible and is going to try P2 again. We're going to have to adjust the 500 cal part while he's at work because the job is too physical for 500cals. I think that's part of why he kept cheating in the first place.

Now for me, I think my issue is not only hubby's cheating interfering with my willpower, but I think that the longer I'm on hcg the more I feel restricted and I end up cheating. My 40th was on Sunday and I ended up eating some pasta salad, cheesecake, and almost a whole bag of chips. My reasoning was that it was my birthday and I had a hard time with the whole 40 thing. Realistically, I had planned my round so that I would be in P3 by my birthday but then daughter and hubby decided to do hcg and so I extended my round thinking it would be easier for them if we were all on it together... I don't think I was mentally prepared to follow it through and that's where I went wrong. Not beating myself up though, it's in the past and all I can do is move forward. I did accidentally do a couple of sort of CDs though. For two days in a row I ate an apple mid morning and then an un-weighed steak or fish fillet for supper (and I wasn't hungry AT ALL). I'm back down to where I was before the cheating so I feel better now. We'll see how P3 goes when I start it on Monday.

Kansas, thank you. I am no expert by any means but i think you need to find out whats throwing you off balance. Have you tried to go back to P2 foods and then slowly add foods in for 3 days each? Maybe its something really dumb that is throwing you off. I know when i eat out, the next day i need to be prepared for a gain but the following day I basically go back to P2 foods (not quantity and except for additional veggies) and i cut out my P3 ice cream and (if during a weekend) any wine I may drink and that takes care of it. I havent added all my P3 foods yet though (no cheese, yogurt, nuts (other than Almonds)). I started Mayo today, lets see how it goes.

Skinny, thanks! Today I am 0.6 BELOW LIW! Wooo hooo! I ate really clean yesterday though.

Gummi, I am super happy that your daughter is doing so well. If your husband has such a physically challenging job why dont you just feed him P2 foods but in bigger quantities? That way he doesnt fail? Since I make dinner every night, DH eats the P2 meals but in bigger quantities and he has been loosing weight. Just a thought since he would be less tempted to cheat if he wasnt hungry. I really believe in curring out sugars and starches as a form of weight loss. It works for "most" people. Im not one of those and Im sure most of us here are not either, but I know it works for "most."
Also, are you doing another round for 3 lbs or do you want to lose more? I personally think you have done great.

Tracie, what kind of smoothies? What do you put in them? Do you put mostly veggies or fruits?

Glad everyone is doing so well. All the best!

Yesterday I had an orange for a morning snack - I was STARVING. For lunch I had a piece of grilled chicken, mixed greens with vinegar. For dinner I just had the chicken - I was crabby; had a rough day at work and just wanted to go to bed. I also drank 1.2 liters of water for the day.

I weighed 149.4 this morning; 9 more lbs to go to reach my current goal of 140.

I have 18 more injections to go, so I need to average a .8 lb loss every day to reach it. Fingers crossed!

Jackie I think we'll increase the P2 foods for my hubby and see how it goes. He works at a coal mine and if they have him on blasting or moving cable, it's physically demanding but when he's driving the big trucks, there's nothing physical at all. Unfortunately he doesn't know what they're going to have him do until he gets there.....and some of the drivers have 20-30 years in the trucks and are so heavy that you wonder how they even get up all the stairs to get into the drivers seat.... He doesn't want to end up like that so that's why he wants to lose weight now.

As for my weight, the healthy range for my height is between 101 (I'd look sick) and 137 (I'm 138 now and still have a tummy and hips). I'm thinking that 120-125 would probably be ok. I haven't ever been able to wear a bikini so I bought one and my goal is to look good in it. After 3 kids, I don't think my hips will ever be where I want them but I'd be happy to flatten my tummy.

    Gummi,
I can imagine he wouldnt want to end up looking like that. I just cant imagine that it would be easy for a man with a physically demanding job (even if its once in a while) to eat so little. DH did the diet and he has an office job and i would always give him more food because he could not deal with the 500 calories. I think if you maybe up the protein so that he eats 800 calories, he will still lose. Ask the experts though, they will know.

For your weight, at least you are in the healthy range and that is great! My range is around 130-151. I was 130 when i got married and while i was in graduate school. After that, i have been in the 140's. I am now at 160 so I still have around 20 to lose to be where i want to be. Ive had 4 pregnancies but only 1 living child so i know what its like. My first 2 mc's were early so even though I gained weight, my body had not changed. I gained 70 lbs with my pregnancy with my daughter but i breastfed so although i had not lost all the weight, my tummy was pretty flat. I got pregnant again when she was 3 months and that pregnancy lasted 5 months so even though i didnt gain much weight with that one, my tummy went out of whack. So these rounds of HCG are all to lose baby weight (thinking back, so was my first round back in 2011). The point of that is that yes, i get it. After kids, you will not be the same. I hope you get into your bikini. That would be amazing! My goal is to hopefully lose the weight and feel better and maybe DH and I will start trying again for another child. Its crazy to lose the weight to then gain it but I think its healthier.

gummi: Glad you got it all figured out. Happy Birthday. Good luck on your transition into p3. I do grow all types of squash including Pumpkin. I don't evern attempt watermelon, too cold up here, some pple do them though. We just built this old greenhouse, its passive and has old rotting tables in it. Its not much to look at.

Jackie: it mite be the soy products I've been eating. I started just eating all veg and protein shakes and it seems to be working. thanks.

    Pricess: fingers crossed

AFM Back down to 115.2 w/ just p3 eating, all veg no soy. I even had pecans last nite. Procrastinating shoveling and trying to get truck unstuck. Good day all.
Doing the best that I can , from where I am. All is well

Checking in! This hcg thing is THE WEIRDEST thing ever. I am in P3 with less than one week to go and my scale WILL NOT BUDGE. I am absolutely stuck at .4 lbs above my LIW-- eating 1500+ calories a day-- even a little wine here and there. I'm eating paleo ish... It's nice. I don't feel deprived at all. So.. Hcg really works.

I have learned from Simeon and other sources that everytime we eat wheat / grains / starch / sugar with fat we are telling our bodies to store pounds. This has helped me A LOT
