    hi gang good to see everyone doing good here alot of you look like your almost done with p 2. bummers lol i enjoy the company
    no loss today but i dont care no gain at least lol. im feeling a bit more energetic the past 2 days .
    had some rain here in seattle area last night and this morning but sun is trying to break. i hope so id like to take dog for a little walk anyways.
    you guys are awesome and keep my spirits up ill say that.
    ill check in later on. i think i need to dust and do some vacuuming downstairs lol

    For one brief shining moment this morning I was my original goal weight! A minute later the scale gods took it away. I know I will see it again in the next day or two. It's so exciting to be at a weight I never thought I would see again.

    Gussy, I'm in my third week and have 3 more to go so I'm here for a while

    I weighed in at the doctor's this afternoon...and I weighed less than when I weighed in at home in the morning! Usually my scale is a bit lighter. I'll take it!

    So how bad is it if you skip an entire meal. I got busy outside with yard-work and then realized it was 4:30, so I just waited until dinner. I don't want to eat late at night unless I need to. Anyone?

    When I had that bad cold, I missed a few lunches. I just carried on by having dinner and them my fruit later. I don't like to eat late either.

    Thanks Moomur. I think I too will just skip the meal. Had an apple and chicken wrapped in lettuce today. I just didn't want this to make me stall after no loss today

    question if anyone knows: my mom is now thinking of doing this but she wants to know if daicon radishes are ok instead of red radishes and also why not limes in the diet since we can have oranges lemon or grapefruit. if anyone know let me know lol thank you

    Madhuri, great news on your weight and progress. Excellent news. There is no better feeling. Gussymoose & Lauriem, I will also be doing this another 3 weeks, so I'm here with you as well. Today is a family reunion. There will be food and drink galore. I will have to STRONG and bring lots of water with me. I will also bring an orange to snack on.

    Today is VLCD #26, and I was down .4 this morning, after the past 2 days of 0 and +2 respectively (getting over the almond butter incident). This sure is going slow, and last round ~ this time I averaged approximately a 3 lb. loss per week. Hope I can at least get those #s to get closer to goal. Stay strong everyone ... we know how weekends are the hardest, but just visualize what you want the scale to look like on Monday morning.

    Start: 145.2 Pre-load
    148.0 After Load

    Week 1: -7.0 lbs = 141.0
    Week 2: -3.8 lbs = 137.2
    Week 3: -3.0 lbs = 134.2

    Congats to those with great losses! Slow going is right Catmom. Round 1 I lost 20, round 2 I lost 18, I will be lucky to lose 16 this rounds, which is three pounds from goal. Seems like an eternity and a fortune for 16 pounds.

    So yesterday I was .4 up, day before I was .2 down and day before that I was flat. It's annoying and frustrating when I'm being so good and diligent, for every loss to be so miniscule followed by a gain or no loss at all.

    As I've said before, I think my body goes into starvation mode and being so close to goal it just won't budge. So yesterday I wanted to shake things up and had an 8 oz steak, a big salad with bell peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers with a tablespoon of ranch mixed with two tablespoons of water and a big pile of steamed broccoli for dinner. Then I went on a 5 mile bike ride and game home and drank two cups of smooth move tea.

    I must be the only person on the planet that doesn't respond to the tea but I did wake up to a .6 loss. Hopefully tomorrow will provide a few more points of loss and so on. Seems like whenever I go flat or gain if I up my calories for a night it will stimulate me losing again. I don't know what the science in that is. I don't up it with anything sinful, just veg and more meat.

    Looking forward to next Saturday when I move on to P3. My spirits are worn and I'm ready to get on with it. While 40 days is a blip in time it feels like and eternity. If the end provided steady losses it wouldn't be so bad but all this gain .4, lose .2 , flat, flat, gain more, lose less - IS KILLING ME. Sorry for my negativity. I'm feeling cranky. Maybe it's the smell of breakfast being cooked that I'm not having.

    Hope everyone has a success-filled weekend. I'll be hanging in there right beside ya!

    Today was a big day! With a 1.1 loss I am now just over half way to my goal. lost 14.1 need to lose 13.9. I am really proud of myself!
