    Beef allowed?

    What beef is allowed on p2? I thought just lean ground beef. But a few p2 recipes call
    For think steak sliced thinly?

    It has to be really lean beef to work. As lean as the chicken and fish allowed. Veal is recommended over beef. In fact the protocol doesn't allow any American beef. But some have had success experimenting with filet Mignon, or very lean cuts of venison or bison. You could theoretically use ground beef if you cooked it well, drained and then rinsed the fat off with boiling water. (Don't run that down your drains though!)

    You can try and see how you do with it, but technically it's not allowed.

    Beef is probably not the best choice, but I have eaten it in P2 many times with no big issues. I eat lean hamburger meat (93%), filet mignon and sirloin. Grass fed is way better than grain fed.
