    Cheating... Hungry.... Failing

I keep cheating on this diet. It's been 20 days and I've only lost 5 lbs due to cheating a lot. I have an opportunity to go a total of 45 days: should I keep going for it even though I'm failing? I am desperate to lose weight I don't know what to do. Or what is wrong with me.

First off, let's look at your dose and method. Your stats say you're taking hhcg? Look at the label. Is the first ingredient hcg 3x, 6x, 12x? There are many fake drops out there and they do nothing. Doing the hcg diet while using those is harmful to your metabolism so it's important to take a look at that.

If your drops are good, what dose are you taking and when does the hunger happen?

I'm actually taking the injections... Not sure how much it is, I'm getting it from my doctor. I've cheated so much in the last 23 days, is it even worth to keep going? I'm not sure if I'm hungry or just wanting to eat...... I want to recommit and keep going but only if it will work still

Your profile said hhcg so that's why I assumed you were taking drops. The clinics often prescribe WAY too high of a dose and it results in hunger and cravings that you can't stop. You should ask what your dose is. I'd suspect it's 200 - 300 iu which is high.

It's .25 on the needle. Not sure if that tells you anything. I decided to keep trying. I'm going to do this...I need this.

It could be a dose of 250 units (too high) or 125 which could be okay or could be too low. I'd call the clinic if I were you and ask him how many iu of hcg is in the 25 units. We can help you adjust the dose. You need the right dose or you will quickly regain whatever you lose.

Hello Grammy, this is my second week and I did great the first week lost 5lbs... going into the second week I cheated a lot with some starches and coffee with creamer... really bad today as I didn't pack my lunch when I went out... I want to press on but I'm not sure how far this has set me back ... I take the injections and it's marked at 20.. which I'm not sure if that's IU doe 200 or not...should I start over with loading or pick up and keep moving from here?

Don't start over. Just get back on protocol and stay on. Your cheat could cause you to forfeit a few losing days, but your round will be ok.

If you are on a dose of 200iu, that is very high and could cause hunger and/or poor losses.

If you know how your HCG was mixed, you can figure out your dose with this formula:

Leez is exactly right. If 20 units is 200 iu that's the reason for your cravings. Starting over won't help as Leez said. Just get your dose right and keep on trucking!

You should feel happy. 13.4 lbs is still a good loss no matter what. Even with no cheats, remember some of us react different to the foods allowed on protocol. I did best with Chicken or fish for lunch with celery or cucumbers, and any beef for supper with romaine lettuce and my dressing I made. Those food items worked best for me.
Tomatoes didn't do me any good. I also ate only an orange or apple. The strawberries didn't help me either.

So maybe tell us what you have been eating? But like I say it's still a good loss.
