    Hello everyone,

Good to see so many new posts. I am doing well, have had a couple of stall days but usually followed by a day of bigger loss. I've released a total of 8.6 pounds in 14 days and I already feel so much better. I exercised with yoga and long walks my first week but didn't exercise at all last week due to just being so busy. Plan to pick the yoga and walks back up next week.

My youngest son is 11 and has been in a Japanese immersion school since kindergarten. He leaves tomorrow morning for a 2 week trip to Japan with his school group. He's very excited and we've been very busy readying him.

I've been watching a lot of HCG Chica vlogs to pass the time. Of course I watch them for entertainment not for advice. She doesn't stick strictly to protocol but she has made an amazing transformation. The HCG helped get the weight off but I believe it's the crossfit training she's done for the years since hcg that really reshaped her. I wish I had that kind of motivation to train that hard. I enjoy yoga, I enjoy walking but it's been hard for me to find cardio that I enjoy and I certainly don't enjoy true strength training, I guess I'm kind of a wimp. *sigh. One thing at a time.

I hope everyone is well and keeping motivated to stick to their goals. I'm already almost halfway there. That's one of my jedi mind tricks - - almost halfway there and then I just got to do what I already did and I'll be done. LOL.

    Have a great day!

Hi, so I hiked for an hour then fished for about an hour. That morning I had 4 eggs (3 whites 1 whole) went for the hike (ate a couple of beef jerky strips during the hike); ate my orange before fishing and when I returned home had a protein shake (water, cocoa powder, 3 strawberries and protein powder). The next day I was down 1.2lbs. And this morning down another .8. So I'd say the extra protein did not hurt and the hike probably helped too. Just a note I often test myself with OP because I truly believe you can modify and still succeed. I have the HCG 2.0 book and get a lot of my ideas from there.

Here is my beef jerky recipe I found on pinterest if anyone is interested, it's delicious.

Is anyone else having a hard time eating enough? I'm just not hungry. Even when I feel like I am, I'm full within a bite or two. If I force it, I end up feeling gross like the old days when I'd over-eat and then just moan on the couch Not sure how to push through this.

Today I'm going to do a test of higher protein intake. I'd like to see if I lose more weight eating more protein than eating less. When I did this the day I hiked I lost 1.2 in a day. I work out every day at lunch so my plan is to eat eggs for breakfast w/ pico de gallo salsa, jerky for snack, steak for lunch w/ asparagus, jerky snack and apple, and chicken w/ asparagus for dinner. Let's see how that translates tomorrow on the scale.

Hope all are doing well on their HCG journey.

Wow, no I'm not having this problem. I seem hungrier this round than usual. I've always done my rounds through a clinic and the dose has always been fine. Not sure why this round I seem a bit more hungry. Still manageable but the hunger is there. Hopefully you can push through it, maybe look at changing dose?

I'm definitely interested in your results. I seem to do better with a little more protein and typically do a 5 or 6 oz portion of chicken instead of 4 oz. I buy the flash frozen tenders from costco and I use to weigh them and make it exact but now I just eat two of them and don't bother with weighing. This is my sixth round and I've found that my body does better with more than the alotted 500 calories.

This diet is extremely hard for me because I am a breakfast eater. going without breakfast has been a challenge. I eat my first fruit at 10:30 and by that time I'm very ready for it. I can't really say starving because I've never felt starving on this diet but ready and very ready are a better description. On the mornings I do yoga, I actually eat 4 egg whites with a little pico de gallo to keep me satiated and not starving after.

    Good luck!

Thanks Lola. I haven't had this issue before but am finding it surprisingly hard to deal with. Seems like an easy fix of "just eat" but as we all know, when we fill up on this diet, we are full! It'll pass and I'll be complaining that I'm eating too much next

Switching sides ... I hate trying to do this while hungry (seems there is no pleasing me). Even just a little twinge is a challenge when you know your options are limited - eat too soon and risk being hungry later ... wait too long and just sit there hungry. Not a fun one. Is the doctor doing your program again this time?

Yes, still using Dr. but the clinic is a joke. I think I would rather be full than hungry but both ways are a bother. Excited that I am almost halfway to the 40 days. It's a long 40 days and getting to the halfway point gives a sense of confidence that I'm almost there, the end is in sight. My losses are slow but they typically are so I guess all it well

As you can see my plan failed, booooooo! I knew it was going to I felt full all day and last time I ate more protein I felt light all day; I don't know if it was the hiking or what but it did not work. I think I ate close to 1000 calories and I usually do 800.

Anyway back to plan. Today I may skip fruit but we shall see how I feel throughout the day.

Nice! Great to see that the extra protein on hike day paid off. Sorry about the plan mishap in the regular extra protein day. I am sure you will release the weight soon. You are probably losing inches more during that time. I too do not follow the protocol to a t. I eat eggs and drink protein shakes. Jay Robb. I usually skip fruits here and there and mix protocol veggies. I am losing just the same. By Tuesday I had lost a total of 18 pounds. We will see by Friday how much I lose. I don't weight everyday. I weigh twice a week. I try to do the protocol with a few tweaks. As long as I am losing its all good. I will stick to original protocol once I reach a stall.

    Hello!

Jumping in here after about 1 year of "intuitive eating" my way back up to 173lbs. I was holding strong btwn 148-153lbs for about 3 yrs before that using the low carb/restriction approach. While the freedom was blissful in this last year - I realize that there are tradeoffs. I'll never be someone who can just not have to think about what I eat....for the rest of my life. I'm at peace with that. This next round is a reset for me and I'm on day 2. I expect this one will take 42 days. I've done rounds before where I "cheated" and where I've been 100% perfect. I plan to do the 100% perfect version this time. There are more benefits to weight loss for sure - but also benefits in just feeling optimal while doing it. I want to get back to the 150s and develop a routine that I can sustain long term.

Welcome Agent! I too will never be someone who can just not have to think about what I eat. It's extremely difficult because my husband is a sugar addict and refuses to eat healthy. He enjoys living for today and being fat and happy and just wishes I would too. I first did HCG in 2012 and got to my goal weight kept it off for a year or so then have had to do about a round a year managing creep weight. a pound here, a half a pound there and before I know it I'm up 18 pounds. Seems like I just keep gaining and losing that same 18. I eat low carb/low sugar, exercise by walking and yoga, and restrict myself from a lot of snacks that are always in my house. I have great will power, but every now and again I allow myself to have pizza and drink beer and eat the damn dessert and the next thing you know I'm up 3 pounds then I lose 2.5 but the .5 stays until the next time I indulge with friends and family. I wish I could find a way to just maintain and not have such severe consequences from a day here and there of indulgence. Waaaaa waaaa waaa!

Rosie: Sorry to hear about your failed experience. .4 isn't horrible consequences and should come off fairly quickly. Drinks lots of lemon water to aid in the release.

I'm losing slowly. Only down .2 today. Did a little 2 mile hike yesterday evening and yoga yesterday at lunch. Maybe I over exerted? I don't think so but maybe. Or it could be because I haven't eliminated in a few days. Or maybe I ate to much vegg or maybe not enough. That's what drives me crazy about this diet, all the second guessing. At any rate, I'm sticking to my goals. foraging forward.

    Have a great day!
