Oh didn't even notice that you had sent me an email . Yep would love to buddy up with for Phase 3.....I have been haunting the P3 phase forum and planning my eating menu...OMG I can't wait!! I changed up my tea tonight and had fish instead of my normal spicy chicken tomatoe soup...it was gross.....so back to soup for me. I'm a bit nervous of gaining weight but I know how important it is to up your calories significantly so you are not maintaining on a low calorie intake......I just can't fathom maintaining on a 2000 or so calorie intake each day.....I've been a bit of a food **** addict. I was researching doing Paleo for phase 3 as it looks very similar to normal phase 3 without the dairy....but I do love my cream and butter though...I also have to buy a few things in preparation for Phase 3 like avocado oil, some xylitol and a bunch of other stuff. I think Saturday 2nd July sounds great for the first Phase 3 meal....what are you planning? I'm dreaming of whole chicken drum sticks or thighs with the skin on, bacon, pork chops, lamb chops, a tender bit of steak with the fat on...I'm in heaven dreaming about it all. What is the cocoa crack like? I've read some don't really like it but that is going to be my daily guilt-free sweat treat.

Oh my geez, we are definitely on the same wavelength. The food ****, the P3 forum stalking, the Paleo thing (I am not willing to give up dairy, I just love cheese, cream and butter too much!) My first meal will be eggs and bacon, I'll hold off on cheese for a couple/few days. Honestly, I haven't given much thought outside of that. I would really like some tuna but finding a mayo without sugar is a nightmare and I tried to make it once which was a flop. I'm such a mayo snob, my pallet is set to Best Foods/Hellman's.

So last night I made the cocoa crack and ate about two tablespoons. I woke up to a .8 loss which is the most I've lost at one time in weeks. I will eat POP today and then eat the cocoa crack again tomorrow. Jedi trickery games at play You have to play around with the portions for cocoa crack. I make mine with almost equal parts of coconut oil and unsweetened cocoa (slightly less cocoa) and Stevia to taste, I don't particularly like Stevia but I found the NOW Better Stevia Glycerite which is much less bitter. I've made it with xylitol and really enjoyed it until I found out the side effects of xylitol in my digestive track. Let's just say there was lots of gas and bloating and my family couldn't stand me, for that matter, I couldn't stand myself. If you were to compare it to regular chocolate it would pale in comparison, but after 40 days of restriction, it feels like a treat and it's good for you! On P3 you can add other things like nuts and in P4 dried fruits. If you do not like the taste of coconut, this would not be the treat for you.

I am going to try to add things back slowly this time. Which I've never been successful at but honestly I've always done really well in P3 and stabilized well so I'm not too worried about it. It's when I get to P4 and try adding in alcohol, sugar of any kind and carbs that things become volatile.

I'm really looking forward to a lettuce wrapped cheeseburger with caramelized onions and mushrooms, chef salads with lots of chicken, bacon, cheese and mixed veggies. EGGS & BACON. A nice juicy steak - BUTTER!!

    Okay, enough of that.

Bacon and eggs as the first breakfast meal on P3 sounds pretty blimmin good....I'm with you there. Well done on the cocoa crack experiment....a treat and a loss...how good is that? I just need to buy some good stevia and I'll be away.

    OMG....keep the good **** coming...

Today is VLCD 7 this morning 153.0 that's -5lbs total. Not bad considering day 2 I started my TOM... blah.
the first few days are always the most difficult just starting the diet and hunger or what I like to call "i think i'm hungry"
much better toward the end of the week.

It's been such a busy week at work, i haven't had time to get off my butt.. and when I get home just too exhausted to even get out and walk.
Planning to get outside this weekend! a nice walk on the beach is just what i need

I hope everyone has an awesome weekend.

So this morning I was .4 up? Yesterday I did fail and have a hershey nugget mini chocolate and half of some cocoa crack. Man I just cannot cheat on this diet or I go over the edge. I'm an all of nothing kind of person and have to realize that when I am off HCG I will HAVE to find healthy treat options. Once I get a piece of sugar in my mouth it's like I turn into a sugar zombie, haha.

Today I had a protein shake for breakfast after my 30 minute run, lunch was roasted chicken breast and tomato soup, snack grapefruit. And because I do not want to cook because I am so sick of cooking I think I'm going to try an HCG shake I found on pinterest for dinner, it consist of low fat cottage cheese, strawberries, spinach, cocoa powder and water. Curious to see the result, I'm somewhat lactose intolerant when it comes to cottage cheese so i'll be taking a lactaid with that shake. Let see where I'm at tomorrow morning. Hopefull 124 but that's probably wishful thinking.

Tomorrow as usual we do our steep hike up Thumb Butte, I'm pretty determined to beat my 120 goal and get to 115. I figure better to do it now than repeat later. The next time I want to do HCG will be in June of next year if needed so I really want to lose what I can now.

I keep telling myself I can do anything for 45 day.

Sorry to hear of your gain Rosie. I'm like you - - all or nothing, which I really hate about myself - that mentality "Well since I had one donut, I might as well eat the whole box since I've already failed" that's horrible thinking. Hope you bounce back quickly.

Today I am the same as yesterday. Think I'm going to have cocoa crack tonight and go to water aerobics so hoping that will give me a nice loss tomorrow. I'm okay with a stall if it's after a nice loss. I consider .8 a nice loss. I would rather a .8 loss and a stall then a measly .2 daily loss. Fingers crossed.

I have one week left - I'm so freaking excited I can't stand myself.

    Have a great weekend everyone!

Hope you managed that walk Karko. I am quite enjoying my daily walks even though I get pretty tired from them. No loss for me this morning...bugger! Me too for the 'all or nothing' mentality, that's exactly why I don't even go there with the sweet treats.....I'm going to make a huge effort and steer away from sugar completely when P3 is over. Rosie....you're doing great...I wish I were 124 right now....then I could already be in P3. I'm so tempted to try the cocoa-crack now LLC......but I don't trust myself...feels too much like falling off the wagon even though you seem to loose weight with it.

Being sugar free is really hard. Especially when everything has sugar in it in some way or another. Even things where sugar doesn't belong. For me "sugar free" isn't enough, I don't want "sugar-free" frankenfood with a bunch of sucralose (splenda) and other artificial crap. Doing everything with Stevia is also not ideal. When I really need to make something with sugar I usually opt for coconut sugar.

So I ate cocoa crack 3 days ago and had a .8 loss the next day. I then ate POP the next day and had no loss the following day. Last night I had some cocoa crack and had a .2 loss today. I don't know what that all means, all I know is TOM has been visiting for about the past 10 days and I haven't had a movement in about 5 days, until this afternoon, so I'm hoping for a loss tomorrow. However, I am having steak tonight, first one all round. It's a 4 oz filet mignon and I'm really excited about it but also scared that it's not the wisest choice this late in the game.

But I'm also to the point where I'm starting to feel really cagey. I just want to be done and I'm sad that I will not hit goal even though that's just numbers on a scale it still is disappointing. Even though the ultimate goal is to finish the round and stay POP and aside from the cocoa crack, I have done it and round is over in exactly one week. I can totally hang on one more week but not a moment longer!!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend and the scale gods are foreva in your fava!

OMG, the steak was probably the most delicious, decadent thing I've eaten all round. My hubby grilled it on the charcoal grill and cooked it to perfection. I savored every morsel and took very small bites to make it last. I always try to have my last meal of the day be something light like chicken so I was worried but I actually woke up to a .8 loss. Part of that was my system moving and I believe part of that was my body needing more calories or protein or something. And my system moved again today, which I know is TMI but it's been a big problem for me so to have a movement two days in a row is like Christmas! I'm down to the last week and waffle between giddy and agony. Emotions running high and low, hot and cold. Super excited and anxious.

    Cheers!

    Hi fellow skinnies

I'm completely new to HCG and I started last week. I take 10 HCG drops 3 x a day.

    Goal 155lbs.

    Day 1: 175
    Day 2: 173
    Day 3: 171
    Day 4: 171
    Day 5: 171 (Ovulating)
    Day 6: 171 (Ovulating)
    Day 7: 171 (wk 1: -6)

As you can see after three successful losses per day in a row, I've gone 4 days with no loss? Do you think it has anything to do with Ovulating? I am going to be v strict with myself today, as I'm losing faith in the programme. Can anyone please advise? When ovulating I'm not regular either, really hope a see a shift tomorrow.

    Thank you
