    Day 38 and I weigh more than on day 25? Help! Need advice! No cheating

    Hi l am doing my third round of HCG and to the Rx shots and follow the original protocol to a T with zero cheating. I am in P2 day 38 and randomly have still not gotten down as low as I was was n day 25. I had my TOM around day 24 which made me gain slightly and then the next day inhd a 5 pound loss overnight! I could tell too in my inches that I just felt smaller all over. Then the next 13 days were variations of me gaining those 5 pounds back and losing them all on repeat over and over. One day I would jump up 4 pounds. Next day I would be down by 2. Then back up by 1.6 then down by 0.2. Anyways my first 25 days of losses were great and were 15 pounds total from pre load weight. Then all of a sudden I just stopped and may close the entire 49 day round never really getting past this weird fluctuation that leaves me at the same weight I was at on day 25. I am at 141.8 and my goal weight is 125.

    What I have been eating: I have been drinking massive amounts of water and basically eating 100g of raw chicken with cabbage or 75g of “cooked” shrimp or sometimes 100% pure real crab meat (from Trader Joe’s frozen aisle. I LOvE this stuff) with spinach for dinner. I have one Apple a day between lunch and dinner and one small handful of strawberries for breakfast and my 2 grissinis with meals but never at the same time with the fruit. Sometimes I have eaten shirataki noodles but often times this correlated with a drop of 2 pounds or so the day or two after so it didn’t seem to be messing with my losses. I use zero products on my skin with oil and have been wearing no makeup except occasional mascara. Last round I got down to 125 and kept it off for more than three years! But this round I won’t go below the 140 mark. Just keep bouncing again and again from 141-144 and back again. I did do an Apple day about 4 days ago which gave me losses and then a gain again really got after. I take 25 units on my syringe and experience literally zero hunger ever.
    The only things that were out of the ordinary were:
    I traveled to NYC for 4 days but packed my pre made meals with me. I did find myself having to walk all over the city more walking than I am used to but not much fatigue. I had to wash my hands several times in a public restroom with the foaming soap. I used straight vaseline on my lips when they were dry. I also use the protocol grossing breadsticks but when I went to the store mid round the plain flavor wasn’t available so I bought the garlic flavor. Also I took my single bike of HCG and injected myself for almost 29 days with it. Might it have been expired? I mixed it myself 29 days earlier and experienced zero hunger so thought it was all good.

    Anyways I am now just so frustrated that I didn’t do a planned stop for my trip to NYC and I am about to hit the 40 day mark but did a skip day every week. And also I did skip two days of shots during my TOM most heavy days which is where this whole snafu began. So now I am thinking of doing an extended round past the 40 days? But I have family visiting in town so I will stop at 49 Daya and then maybe pick up again for a week or so after they leave 5 days later? Any advice? Is this a bad idea. I hate the thought of stabilizing for 3-6 weeks at a point which is obviously a stall point in my weight. Can I just buy another 20 day round and keep it going and do it that way after a small interruption? Any help would be wonderful.

    I'm sorry you ran into this frustration. It sounds like you are just in a very long stall. It can take 2 weeks to get past a stall that happens at a former established set point. However, your report of how the weight is dropping and rising in such big increments makes me wonder if your scale is a bit wonky. Sometimes when the batteries get weak, you will get readings all over the place.

    So now I am thinking of doing an extended round past the 40 days? But I have family visiting in town so I will stop at 49 Daya and then maybe pick up again for a week or so after they leave 5 days later? Any advice? Is this a bad idea.     It's not a good idea to extend your round past 40 injection days. Stopping at 40 is important, not only to let your skin recover, but also to practice maintenance one last time before your goal round. When you finally get to goal, you want to have the tools you need to stay there. Additionally, extending your round past 40 days puts you at risk of developing immunity, and that would mean you could not use HCG again for at least a year, and maybe not ever. Some think immunity is a myth, but we do occasionally see it happening in these forums. Since it sounds like your last HCG round that got you to goal was 3 years ago, you could consider this one as round 1 and start another after a 6 week break.

    I have a question is about what your dose really is. 25 units doesn't tell us how many IUs you are taking. If you were taking a very high dose, that is something that can cause poor losses even if no hunger is flagging the issue. How was your HCG mixed, HCG iu's to bacteriostatic water ml?

    Hi Leez thank you so much for your input! I definitely won’t extend the round if I might become immune forever! Although frustrating to have such a long stall I still love HCG and would always turn to it for a total reset of my body shape and weight that is easy to maintain. It as far as extendi the round it says 49 days of injections. So since I did a skip day once a week so will have only totaled 34 injections when I reach my 40 day mark. Can I take a five day interruption and then again resume for another 6 days of injections or should I do a hard stop at 40 days?
    To answer your question about dosing I mixed 10cc of bacteriostatic water into 5,000 IU of HCG so have been taking 25 units on the syringe which I believe would be 125 iu? Thanks again for your help it is so nice to get encouragement and advice when navigating this often emotional roller coaster!

    125iu is a very reasonable dose. Since you have experienced no hunger at all during the round, even on skip days, my guess is that you are just at a very stubborn set point that you have to break through. That could happen with a change up like an interruption. You could certainly do that at this point in the round.

    You can take an interruption of no less than 4 days, and no more than 2 weeks. The interuption starts 72 hours after your last HCG injection before the break.

    You count injection days, not total VLCD days to determine maximum round. So your round can end up being a lot longer than 40 days because of skip days and such.

    It might be a good strategy to take a break if you feel able to resume afterwards. It can be hard to get back in the low calorie groove again, so it takes some resolve and determination.

    Great thanks for the advice. I will take a short break and then resume until I have taken all 40 of the shots and report back on what the results were! Fingers crossed!

    Good luck, and enjoy the P3 eating! The protocol says to increase calories to 800 but remember that is a minimum level. Just as in P3, eat to your satisfaction signals and you should have minimal weight gain to recover from when you resume.
