    Day One - COMPLETE!

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Day one is complete. Iím posting right now for accountability as I wind down for bed. Iím fighting every urge to just ďload one more dayĒ by going into the kitchen and eating every macadamia nut in the freezer. But thatíll just push my losses back one more day and thatís kinda how I got myself into this overweighted mess in the first place...isnít it?

The HCG brought TOM an entire 2 weeks early. Did my googling and saw that the Rx injections can sometimes affect your cycle. Had a panicked moment but realized itís all a part of the process. It just makes day one that much harder. But hey! It can only get easier from here right?

I gained a whopping 5 pounds from loading so Iím hoping to see a pretty significant drop tomorrow on the scale! Cheers to everyoneís P2! Happy losses!!

Kudos to you for making it through day one. It really is the hardest one to get past mentally, and sometimes physically.

Hoping the scale proclaims a big reward tomorrow morning. You're on your way!

Iím really glad I stuck it through and went to bed instead of eating! I released 2.6 lbs bringing me down from 149.4 to 146.8 Yaaaay! that gave me a huge surge of confidence that this actually works. I had the nagging feeling all day that maybe I was one of the unicorn women who this protocol wouldnít actually work for.

Leez, I did have a question about TOM starting on day 1. I know the P&I says one should stop injections during the first (heaviest) couple of days of TOM. Since the HCG brought my cycle two weeks early, I didnít think twice about it and continued on as I planned. I feel good, no hunger/weakness today but I just was curious if I need to skip an injection this early in the game (VLCD2) because of my cycle?

I assume since I feel fine, I am safe to continue on. But since this is more of a hormone protocol than anything else, I want to double check just to be safe.

    Thank you!

You are fine to continue. Most people don't skip during their cycle anymore, although you can opt to do that if you wish.

Glad you are feeling good. The onset of TOM may mean that you'll get a really good release after things settle down with those hormones, as sometimes there is water retention relating to the starting days.
