I ate at Carl's Jr. Low Carb burger. It was delicious. I was concerned that I'd pay for that on the scale this moring. I'm thrilled to report all is well. I had a 3lb loss. Trying to make sure I get in all of my water today. I thinking about a chicken fajita salad with cilantro vingarette dressing for dinner. Is anyone here working out? I think I'm going to start. Although, this means I'll need to measure more because muscle weight more than fat. So the scale won't be an accurate gage of fat loss.
The Chicken Fajita salad sounds amazing! Do you make the cilantro dressing yourself? I love cilantro!
Yes I do exercise, but only walking. About 4 days a week I do a half hour walk with my coworkers. We start out the walk climbing up a really steep hill. It is a killer! I plan to start yoga when I feel a little more comfortable in my skin and then am going to try Zumba this fall/winter when it is too cold to walk. I am going to try the Leptin Reset after my first round of HCG and I remember reading that at some point in it you do weightlifting of some kind, so I will have to look into that too. What kind of exercise are you planning on trying?
I just received my 10# weight lost reward in the mail. I ordered some orange stevita drink mix that is sweetened with xylitol. It tastes pretty decent, but has a bit of an aftertaste. Not awesome, but not horrible. I really miss my Crystal light and don't like plain water a whole lot, so this should fit the bill. I also ordered coconut oil, but decided to save that for the 20# reward...gonna make me some cocoa crack with it.
I had my first gain today. Up .8 and I am not sure why. We will see what tomorrow brings.
    Week 1 -12.0
    Week 2 -5.2
    Total After 2 Weeks: -17.2

I've been exercising, twenty minutes of step-aerobics or a 30 minute walk. I've been wondering if that is the reason I haven't lost as much as everyone else seems to be loosing. I'm on RX drops, but I've only lost 11 lbs in 15 days. :/

11 pounds in 15 days is EXCELLENT!! That means you are losing more than 1/2 a pound a day. That's awesome! Keep it up

    Greetings Ladies:

It is day 8 and I'm down 1lb. That puts at my LDW;now I feel like I'm just getting started. I just hope that my losses continue to be above avarage at least for another week. Then I can make some real progress.

LexiVaga, Yes I made the dressing. I chopped up about 1/2 bunch of cilantro, juice of a lime, 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar, salt, pepper and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin. I blended it all in my Magic Bullet. As for exersice, I'm going to start walking today and I think I will be adding some light weights. Oh the crack is devine when you are really craving chocolate. I added unsweetend shreded coconut and a splash of cream to make it more of a milk chocolate. Tonights dinner is beef and broccoli.

Sunni68, Your losses are wonderful. Especially since the average for ladies is 1/2 pound per day. You should start measuring your self. Even if the scales show no losses, you may still be loosing fat. Since muscle weighs more that fat, you can check your measurements to see if you are making progress by loss of inches.

Hi Ya'll! You are all doing so great!!
Thanks for the recipe for the dressing m2nd2none!
Blessed2012-Yesterday I made mini meatloafs in muffin tins and mock mashed potatoes (mashed cauliflower). It was delicious! For the meatloaf I mixed one pound of very lean ground beef, chopped onion, an egg, some crushed melba rounds, tomato sauce, salt, pepper and mustard. For the cauliflower I cut up a head and boiled it until it was really soft. I roasted some garlic cloves in the oven and added it to the cauliflower along with salt and pepper. I beat it like you do potatoes and it tasted a lot like garlic mashed potatoes. I have leftovers for other meals too!
I was down 1.2# this morning, so the meatloaf must have been an ok meal...

My doc said NO ground beef...which right now would be a welcome change! That sounds like a fantastic meal!

m2nd2none: Thanks for the idea. Measuring will probably lift my spirits when the scale doesn't.

    Hello Ladies:

I'm up 1 pound today. I think it is waste that I have not yet been able to eliminate. I worked out yesterday and I feel pretty good. I hope to get in a 30 minute walk later today. I have no ideal about food for today. Congradulations to all who lost and for those who didn't hang in there your day will come

HI Samantha! Congratulations on making that decision. The sooner you start the better off you will be. Just wondering. This is day one of your Very Low Calorie Diet, right? You did your two loading days? Just checking.
I started loading on Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, I started the VLCD and am already reaping the rewards. It's Friday now, and since Monday, I have lost 10.5 pounds and an inch off of my waist. I'm really excited to see what the next 3 weeks will bring. I am happy to be your buddy and give you encouragement because this is NOT an easy thing to do. Especially the first 3-4 days. For me, they were, anyway. Days one through three, I won't lie, I was starved. If this does happen to you, DON'T give up. That hungry, headachy thing will go away once your body adjusts. Hang in there and follow the plan. IF you DO get hungry, try some tea and don't forget to drink, drink, drink your water! AT LEAST 2 liters per day and more if it's hot or if you are active all day. Make sure you are eating all your meals and snacks. The diet is already so restrictive that you can't afford to take out any more calories. Also, try raspberry ketones in conjunction with the hcg. It's working wonders for me- helps keep appetite suppressed too. Wishing you the very best and hope to hear back from you soon!
