Every other day minimum or no weight loss

Has anyone experienced this before? Maybe it is an almost stall or something?
P2 VLCD1-7 great progress, VLCD 8-14 has slowed quite a bit, and I am not comparing or expecting the same results as the first week.

    Day 8 +.20
    Day 9 -1.00
    Day 10 -.20
    Day 11 - 3.00
    Day 12 - 0
    Day 13 -6.0
    Day 14 - 0

I guess it is still decent progress. I am following the program to a "T". I think I will ditch strawberries for now and see if that changes anything.

You won't lose every day. Your losses look really good. I wouldn't change anything.

Oh okay! I read...some males lose 1lb or more a day, was hoping I was one of those males.

Day14 -1.8. I "over caloried" by accident (2 chick +2 tomatoes did it) so I was happy

    Thanks Grammy.

That's on average though. Most people don't lose every single day.

Every other day minimum or no weight loss

I am not male but I have the worst time with stalls. I do injections and I am on VLCD7 of my second round with a total of four pounds lost. Most folks seem to see much higher losses in the first week than I ever have. I stalled for a day and then had a .2 drop the next day. At least I'm losing, but I don't lose like everyone else. I've also never had a "whoosh" like some people. My losses averaged .375 per day on my first 40-day round when most see at least .5. I know it's disappointing and a little discouraging to read that some folks have big losses, but your body just might not work like others. I used to get so frustrated when folks would say that to me but it's true. I lost 15 pounds in 40 days last time. Better than what I could've done alone, but I was POP and those were my results. My doc was disappointed with that number but there's really nothing you can do if your body doesn't release fat as quickly as others. I say as long as you're seeing losses, you're successful.

Edit to add: I also think that the slower you lose, the better you maintain. I ended my first round in late October and maintained within 3 lbs of my LIW through Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and my birthday. With some ups and downs, of course, but I didn't do any correction days. I just let it balance itself out because correction days suck worse than VLC days. I started this round at 159 and my LIW was 156. YMMV, but I made it through Phase 3 and Phase 4 with very few instances of being up on the scale for more than a day or two. I've read some stories that once you get to P4 you can gain very quickly. I wasn't in P4 very long, but I kept drinking 90 oz per day religiously. I consider the three pound difference very successful, since a lot of that was just water retention from higher carb intake anyway.

Jmom, what dose are you on? A high dose often results in lower than average results.

Every other day minimum or no weight loss

The clinic gave me a premixed vial and instructed me to inject 15 ml each morning. There's really no way of knowing what the dose is and it seems questionable to just inject less without really knowing how much it is. I don't want to short myself. It's really frustrating because I don't know what to do about it.

15 ml???? That must be a typo or one GIANT needle
Have you asked the clinic what the dose is? My first round I went to a clinic and asked the nurses about the dosage and they had no idea at all.

In my humble opinion you should definitely be loosing more than 15lbs in 40 days.

You have to ask your clinic. You have to know what dose you are on to effectively be able to adjust.

You might mean 15 units? That is likely 150 iu which could be too high.

I too keep stalling for long periods of time.

I am 35 days into my 40 days and my first week was awesome. I dropped 15.8 lbs.
    Second week I dropped 2lbs
    third week 1.6lbs
    4th week 1 lb
I did an apple day at the start of third week and that was the only loss I had all week.
I did another apple day 2 days ago (after 6 days of no movement on the scales) and my weight went up.
This morning I was down 1lb but I am not sure why I have stalled so badly. I am sticking to my plan, but nothing seems to be moving.
I started at 230.4lbs on the 31st of December and as of today I am at 208.4lbs I was really hoping I would get under 200lbs in this first round, but my body seems to be really slow at shedding the excess fat. I always drink between 2.5 - 3 liters of water a day. I have tried not eating red meat, I have tried eating only fish (which I hate ), I have tried not eating strawberries. Nothing seems to make any difference. I have measured myself and can not see any great differences in my measurements either.
Just dont know what I am doing wrong at this point.
I usually inject myself between 6.30am - 7.00am each morning and then around 11am I have my fruit. Then at around 12.30 - 1pm I have my protein and salad.
Dinner is usually between 6.30pm - 7pm each evening.
I am not usually hungry at all, although I have had a few days where I am really hungry all day.
I had hoped that this would kick start my metabolism, but as yet that doesnt seem to be the case. I still have around 80lbs to lose so will be doing more rounds. At this pace at least 4 - 5 more rounds.
    Any advise would be appreciated.
I am doing my program through a clinic, but at almost $1200 for 40 days I really cant afford 4 - 5 more rounds.
