    Hi Divas,

Wow, this is so nice to be able to see what I am writing. Just replaced my old laptop that only had 1/2 a screen (broke last week) with a new laptop today.

Playing catch up once again and it sounds like Audri has a good plan for our thread so I will go back and do my editing and I think that will complete the clean up plan. Thanks to all for coming up with possible solutions.

Before I forget...Jaymie I'm still trying to figure out what to do about P2 and I'm not sure when I will be doing R2. I'm wondering if I should treat my first round like a short round (it was about 28 ish days). Perhaps I should just try to eat p3 stuff for the interim and then officially start R2 whenever it would be appropriate. I'm so confused. TOM is still here (with a 6 week long wait evil vengence, cramps and all) so I'm not doing much of anything right now. So anyone have any advice:

-resume my last 2 weeks of R1P2 when TOM departs in a couple of days. This means restarting the injections I have been off of now for 8 days.

    OR

-focus on eating P3 until I can start R2 and just consider that R1 was the "short" version. If I do this, any idea how long to wait to start R2?

Now that I'm back to a full computer screen and do Kagee's split screen replies to everyone, I'm excited to catch up with you all tomorrow. My quick scrolls through the last group of pages looks like there has been so many great losses. Again, so proud of all of you!

Alright, DH is sniping at me about turning the light off. Must be his TOM too.

    Nighty night.

    Hey Ladies,

So I am back on Round 2, Phase 2 and starting day 3 of VLCD. I finished my first round with a 25lbs weight loss, went on vacation and gained back 3 (which is not so bad) but then I gained 5lbs in loading!! Total gain is 8lbs.

I think there is defiently a food intolerence there and I presume it was the huge 4 cheese pizza I had night before VLCD 1 as well as the Huuuuge carbonara that I had the day before. My stomach swelled up and I looked like I was 6 months pregnant!

But I have lost 5lbs in 2 days already so I am feeling motivated and positive for this round.

I find that mentally the 2nd round so far is a lot easier. My 1st round, the first week I was worried that the diet would be a failure, that the HCG diet was a scam, that I had wasted money, that it would work for others but not me etc etc that I had alot of sleepless nights and non stop obsessing about the diet that I really was quite teary and emotional the first week. But as NOW I know it works I do not have that stress of the unknown and it is a great relief and lets me concentrate on getting through round 2. Also food preparation and cooking goes alot quicker as I have now lots of different dishes to make and I know which foood could possibly effect my weight loss and what to avoid.

I am only doing a 26 day round as I only have 15lbs left to lose (well, 18lbs if you count the loading weight) to be at the weight I was when I met my husband. I may do another short round in August but I really want to start toning up and running again before that.

So I have 3 weekends to get through and it so happens that they are the 3 busiest weekends of the year so far! My best friend is having her birthday lunch at a beach resturant on Sunday afternoon, the following weekend is Easter and my birthday on the same day and the weekend after is a big family BBQ Bon Voyage party for my Father in Law and his wife who are leaving us to sail to Greece and live there for a year! Temptation overload but I have decided just to get through this round as smoothly as possible without cheating esp as I cheated twice in the last round. Birthdays will come again and I plan on going to Greece this summer with a smoking bikini body and I can celebrate then!

So onwards and upwards for me.....looing forward to seeing the 150's that is going to be a great day!

I hope everyone has a great day and a fantastic weekend!

    Go Divas, GO!!!

    Morning, divas!

This crabby mare is no longer stuck in her STALL....woot! WLF brought me a 1.8 loss last night plus 0.4 yesterday, so I've officially hit the 160s. Barely, but I'll take it! I've decided to continue my HCG over the weekend, was scheduled to end today, to give myself a small cushion and end my dose officially on Sunday. Three days of VLCD after that, then on to P3 next Thursday.

Thanks to redrobin and ChaChie for your kind thoughts. *hugs* Acceptance is the key, no?

Jaymie, I was planning on R2 later in the summer myself, so you won't be alone around that time.

Ruby: Yay! *Kermit the Frog arm flailing* Hooray for the new laptop! Now you can post again. If I were in your sitch, I would likely just consider this a short round, restabilize to give your body a break (you've been through a LOT lately), and do another round a few weeks out.

Hope everyone has a great FRIDAY!

Well, Divas here I sit on day 21 of Phase 3. Can it even be possible that I am heading into phase 4 for this round?? Phase 3 absolutely FLEW by! I don't even have any plans for phase 4. I know I need to test out foods and see what agrees with me, but I have been content on phase 3. For the first two weeks of phase 3, I stabilized at about 1.5 over LDW and this week I am hanging out at about LDW or half pound below. So, I think I am sufficiently stabilized to move onward. I did one steak day (I don't think I would have had to do it...I think it was no TMI for 3 days, camping schedule, and travel that did it) and I also did one protein day when I was 1.8 over. All in all, I am pleased with the stabilization.

I will have to decide what to try on phase 4 first-- maybe I will delay my entry into that world
    Starting Weight 248.8
    Round 1--26 days 2/26-3/24 24 pounds released LDW 225.0
    Round 2-- 26 days 5/14-6/9 22.6 pounds released LDW 206.6.
Round 3-- 22 days 9/4 -9/25 19.4 pounds released interruption weight 196. This was a planned interruption that wasn't resumed
    Round 4--25 days 1/1-1/26 20 pounds released LDW 193.

I will be doing a second round, but it will not be until July. I still have 2 weeks on P2, and since this is my second round, I have to wait 8 weeks.
I'm really ready to get off b/c I seem to be stalled, but I want to at least lose five more pounds. I can do it. I can do it. I can do it.

Oh, I HAVE to share this. Remember how yesterday I was craving sea salt. Well, I always sprinkle a little stevia on my baby spinach and yesterday I added some sea salt to it. OH MY GOSH! It was so stinkin' good! It was like the sweet and salty chex mix, only not as crunchy. After my second bowl, I wanted more but had to tell myself to stop, lol! It will definitely be part of my lunch today! YUM!

scottish, sent prayers up for your new job, I really have my fingers crossed for you. I hope you can get away from that crabby mean boss that doesn't know you are a fabulous diva and are really too good for that job. tee hee.

kaygee, thanks for the info on my dizzy spell yesterday. I don't know what it was, but I know it wasn't a normal 'feeling lightheaded' episode. I'm feeling sooo much better today. I'm going to be very alert to anything else like that.

jaymie, I've pretty much been hovering around 1.8 lb over LIW myself. I am in the same boat. I LOVE WINE!!! Dh just brought me a new bottle and I've been picking up 2 new ones every time I go to the market. I think I'm up to 4 bottles of white, 3 red and 1 blush right now. I've been getting new bottles of stuff I haven't tried. My faves are Cabernet's, and Pinot grigio but I'm stepping out and trying new things. It's going to bite me in the diva butt I'm sure. I've got two different bottles of Chianti from different wineries that I've been eyeballing all week. I'm sure I'll crack them open this weekend.

Ruby, If I was in your shoes I'd call it a short round. For me I would probably not stick to protocol as well, I know that because when I allowed myself to cheat in r1p2 I found it easier to go off protocol every time I did. You've lost a nice amount in a short round, if you take a break and do a long round I don't see any harm in your overall goals. I did a long round and now in May I'm doing a short round, the law of averages applies to both. :0)

Maura, congrats on starting your next round. Also congrats on the 5 lbs. Very exciting to see big losses again I think! You have some big challenges to get through, but I know you will. Summer is just busy with parties etc. I know I'll have those things to deal with in May too. Looks like we will overlap a week or so in p2. I'm going to buy some miracle noodles for my second round. I just can't eat the same old chicken and fish again. I'm going to jazz up my meals a little. oh the rougness. LOL

tempo, YAY!!!! Kiss that old set weight goodbye forever. Emotions do play a big role in our bodies. Now you have no where to go but up, uhhh I mean down! LOL at the 'kermit the frog arm wailing' I could actually see you doing that. tee hee hee

sly, congrats on your milestone into p4. I'm glad we had you to be our leader into p3, It's nice to see that you are pretty much at LDW going into p4 when you were stabilizing a little over it all through p3. That gives me hope because I've been stabilizing about 1.8 lbs above myself. I'm not sure if I'll do much different in p4 either. I'm not a fan of going back to bread and high carbs, sugar laced foods. I feel much better eating protein and vegetable carbs.

I am GASP 2.6 lbs above LIW today. I'm doing protein AGAIN. Yesterday with the dizziness I just felt like I needed to eat. I ate all day and for dinner I had taco seasoned ground beef, almost and entire lb of it and chopped lettuce. I ate lots of chicken, nuts, olives, zucchini and mashed cauliflower all throughout the day yesterday. I feel much better today. I am not in a fog like I was all day yesterday and feel like my feet are planted firmly on the ground. NOw I'm going back to eating sensibly. I want to get back to LIW soon. But I'm afraid the wine rack will be calling my name this weekend.

'D' did something really nice for me today. I've had a pretty crappy week at work. The week has been full of meetings, training and all sorts of murphy's law type of stuff. So this morning I get a call from one of the girls in the central office (across the street from me) and she said, some guy dropped something off for you. I go over and 'D' had brought a huge gift bag with candles, wine glasses, shot glasses, bubble bath, a bottle of wine, and other small gifts. It was nice, I haven't been able to get a hold of him this morning yet, but I'm sure I'm going to have to say thanks in a big way.

I have mixed feelings about R2. I want to lose another 10-15 lbs, but gosh I don't want to go back to eating p2 foods. I find myself trying to talk me out of it. I most defiantly want to lose this weight so I need to find a way to get psyched up for the next round. It's only going to be 23 days, but I know how long those 23 days feel when your in it. Oh well, I think maybe I'll look around for some different p2 recipes these two weeks I've got left. Does anyone else feel this way? Diva's I need a kick in the butt, I have to remind myself that bikini weather is just around the corner and I'll feel like crap if I don't get to goal by then.

ta ta for now lovely, skinny Divas.

Good Morning Divas. Well today I hit a milestone. I made it the half way point for my weight loss. I have 15 days left of P2 and will be starting P3 on May 1st. I am not following protocol as I will be doing 3 weeks of P3 and then back on P2 on May 22nd. Hopefully I will be able to lose the rest of the weight. If I dont lose all that I want, I plan on taking the rest of the summer off and will start a 3rd round in the fall.

    Have a great day DIVAS!!!!

These are P3/P4 recommendations by Grammy that Beth put on her blog. I wanted to put the link here so we can all have easier access to it when we start those phases:

thanks audri for that link, very useful info there.

I started feeling light headed again right before lunch. I think maybe my blood sugar is too low. I had an orange for lunch thinking it may help get my carbs up. I haven't been eating any fruit so I'm going to start taking my glucose regularly again to see if that is my problem.

Well I just took my supplements for the first time since starting this diet. I take quite a few, I think around 12., I now feel sick, go figure. I ate a big lunch hoping that it would pad my stomach so I would not feel ill after taking them but it didn't work. I guess once my body gets used to them again I won't feel so sick. Gosh I didn't know p3 was going to be so hard to figure out!!!

Ahhh, another marathon post from yours truly -

    Boing, boing...
back down to 180.0 lbs -6 below LIW... my configuration yesterday was 72% fat, 19% protein and 8% carbs-- 1725 calories "Yes, Virginia you can lose weight by eating more fat", hehe - there is a Santy Claus -
at least for now. and the All the fairies visited(no TOM fairy, lol) -

scottishfairy - I had all my fingers and toes crossed for you[so hard to walk or get anything done that way, lol] Hope things went awesomely at your interview yesterday.

Ruby so happy you have a new laptop and can see us *kagee waving to Ruby* -
I'm sure others have chimed in before I get this thing finished, but... if you were only off the injections for 8 days, I believe, you can just start them again with no loading day(s) - the protocol says an interruption of up to 2 weeks - again I believe... just info, do what feels best and least stressful, ya?

    Wow Maura, you're doing really well on the start of your R2{{btw, I responded from my profile page, but it seems to be acting up, so not sure you got anything : } }}
whoowhooo, only 15 lbs to lose... sooo envious, but I know I'll get there, too!
Wishing you a breezing-though-iest three weekends and... HAPPY PRE-BIRTHDAY, Maura!

tempokat... morning...whoops, afternoon( snuck up on me) - lovely, lovely losses... woot woot, too.

slyspyder - you did stabilize wonderfully - congratulations - I just had a conversation with someone about P4 on another thread - I'll quote it here - bear in mind any information I share is always subject to being WRONG, LOL
    - quoting myself -
    - my pain has decreased as well.(on P2, and now too).. I too played some with food combining back well, from before, but esp when the Fit for Life book came out - always thought 'they' looked tooo skinny.
-[[I'm thinking of separating my meals when P4 comes around starch with fruit or veg and 'nother time protein and veg(no fruit and protein, unless you eat the protein alone first and give the stomach juices time to work into the protein- have you ever had protein ans sweets fruit or otherwise had had major gas after... protein fermenting ; ) ) and be careful of the weight deadly fat/starch combo -HA!, just read your next post/quote from Simeon's --- I read somewhere that when the food first hits your mouth, or actually when you first see, smell whatever it is, the stomach decides what kind of 'juices' to start brewing, so when the food gets there digestion can begin -- protein 'juices are diametrically(nice word; ) opposed to sugary or fat juices]]As to potatoes... I love mixing potatoes and sweet potatoes when mashing -creamy and don't need so much butter - I don't mix in butter when mashing, just use it on top - you taste it more and use less.

ChaChie - I'll do a losing 5.5 lb dance for you. [not a rain dance from here though - they have to be done nekked!]
    I'll have to get some baby spinach... I'm eating my leftover beef dish cold, on baby lettuce and my few remaining cherry tomatoes and a bit of mayo - happy tummy - I've been eating it for over an hour... such a slow eater am I. ; }

redrobin :*} - my brother lives in Southern Ca. and belongs to a winery club... is send a couple or four bottles of wine a month... new or different kinds - Enjoy and see how it goes with the scale - Enjoy for me...can't do grapes - I'll have to try pear wine or something, sometime -

HA! you better 'get hold' of that 'D' of yours and I do mean HOLD, he's a keeper for sure!

re:P2 foods - I just got a canister of what would be P2 friendly protein shake, going to try some in P3 with coconut oil in it, but I'm going to try some just with water and ice and more flavored stevia to see if I can replace some of the meat with it next round... my body has been very patient with all the meat and really question chicken and me sooo, we'll see.
    redrobin... bikinibikinibikinibikinibikinibikinibikinibikinibikinibikinibikinibinikibikini...weather

blueyz - we're on the same schedule kinda, if all goes according to plan - I'll also be starting P2 again, May 22nd, partner!

Thanks for the link, Audri - [[did you get your ''work'' done???]] I'll come get you, you know I will...]]

redrobin - I feel that way when I take enzymes to help me with the protein since I'm genetically lacking some for protein - still undecided about using them... have to do more research for myself... oh boy... love research...*rubbing hands together gleefully*

Have a great day all -

Me -I've been walking a lot today - When I headed out this afternoon I read the bus schedule's outgoing times not the inbound ones, so was way early for the stop I had walked to from our house, not the nearest. Instead of sitting in the high altitude sun I walked another 1/3 mi to a stop that had a kiosk and read til the bus came. Then took the bus as close I could get to the library(the downtown hub) - was going to try to walk from there to the mall, but decided I was going to end up with enough at the mall later -took the return bus to the far end of the mall out past the parking lot -
I got what I needed at Radio Shack and stopped in Starbucks - was a few hours since I ate and felt those body urgent feelings and fed it a coffee with heavy cream, better. Asked the young guy in Starbucks if there was a mall lost and found - he told me where the main office was - when I told him I'd lost my scarf two days ago - he said what color... they had my scarf behind the counter. Whhoooppeeee - it is my favorite scarf - Happy Day! I ended up walking all the way around the perimeter of the mall(a stop to get lettuce and tomatoes) past the other end of the mall where there was a bus stop with a seat at least on the other side of the road, then home from our nearest bus stop. whew - I really have to find and figure out my pedometer; must have 'clocked' at least a couple of mi.

Well, I've been scarfing(no pun intended) down hastily cooked bacon pieces in tomato, bacon, mayo, romaine wraps, yummy, but messy(tomato drippings, hehe) and I'm still hungry-ish - going to wait awhile, have tea then try out my newly purchase/could be P2 friendly double chocolate shake with extra whey thrown in... would have added cream, but forgot to get some and NOT walking another two mi to get some - I'll add a bit of coconut oil to try it. Need to drink another liter of water, too

    Wow, Miss Gabby tonight. : }

    Love to all <3

I'm not sure if I've ever flipped off an inanimate object before, but today the scale deserved it.

Last night we had a family outing to the movies. Popcorn and all! And me? I had a pickle as my second veggie of the day. Not a bite of popcorn, and it actually didn't bother me one bit. What does bother me, though, is that the scale is up 2 pounds! After the sacrifice I made last night. It's going to give me a gain?!?! GROWL!!!!
