Ruby Wow Im so glad you mentioned the NO broccoli because I had it last night. Just a very small amount, however I have a whole bunch in the fridge that I would have cooked. Thanks!!!!!

I am still losing about a pound a day, but I don't feel like my appetite has decreased. I find myself starving half of the day. I don't know if its psychological or not...Im off work the next three days so I am trying to find things to keep busy. If yiu guys notice 1000wining posts on here its just me trying to keep my mind off food. Have a good evening everyone. Also I have a copy of the COOKBOOK if anyone else needs it send me your email, and I'll be happy to send it to ya!!!

Hi acemc! Hope the night improves for you. I'm on VLCD4 and I have to say I've been calmer and in a better mood on HCG than I was off. It could be because I'm on IM HCG injections (injecting HCG into a muscle). My doctor said with drops it's hard to know how much a particular individual is going to absorb into their body. Some absorb it easily and others don't absorb as much and, therefore, need a higher dose orally to absorb enough. I'd check out some other forums and find out if anyone else has had this issue and maybe you need to up your dosage. Just a thought from a newbie! Good Luck!!

Today, I am just in a bear of a mood but I do have my TOM as well...maybe just a double-whammy. If you are bearish as well; please let me know, so that I won't feel so crazy!...lol
    Hi Acemc,

I'm not exactly grumpy today but definately in a strange mood. It's like I am just waiting for the day to pass until I can eat again. I'm not exactly hungry, I think it's just this adjustment of getting used to all my comfort things suddenly being gone: sweets, fats, alcohol. Right now I would be out on a beach hike headed towards a bluff to sit and have a glass of wine with DH. Instead I'm just kind of moping around wondering what to do. I don't want to take the walk anyways, not quite yet, cause I know it will be a terrible temptation. I think that will pass in another couple of days. Day two has just felt a little...empty? Does that make sense?

I hope tomorrow is a better day for you!

Thanks Ruby - yes, empty is the right word. In the scheme of things, a round whether it's 23 or 40 days, is such a short period of time, but I'm a little consumed by not screwing up the process and I think I just need to relax a little bit. And you're right...relaxation was so easily attained with a glass of vino.

great food list post Ruby -
I'm following the Simeon's protocol, but there's also Kevin Trudeau's out there and I think he allows some differences, so I guess there can be confusion -

To all that are irritable - and we've had weird feeling days, too - doc said I needed more potassium and to add Lo-Salt(brand -salt with much more potassium) that has done the trick in several cases with LL/DB and me - he's taking pellets - I'm doing Dr injections - worked for both of us.

I'm finally eating dinner after yoga - chicken cooked in water and herbs(I've found if you don't over cook or poach the chicken, it doesn't get dry) seems like a ton of baby lettuce mix(100g probably 20cal) sprinkled some Bragg's Aminos over greens then poured the hot herb broth over lettuce - it's good, may take me an hour to eat though ;-> Still have to have another fruit *sigh, lol*

Think I will do Smooth Move tea tonight... get things movin' -

VLCD 1...I had a big dinner to go to and I went ahead and bagged up my chicken and a cucumber. While everyone else went through the buffet, I dumped my meal on my plate. It really wasn't that bad. Bringing my own meal and eating with everyone was better than just sitting there watching everyone else eat. Yay for me! One day down, 40 more to go! I am REALLY missing wine right about now but I'll just have a cup of tea and head to bed! Hope everyone has a great day tomorrow!

    Hello Divas :-)

It's been so inspiring today seeing all the weigh that's been lost! I can't wait until I'm posting those disappearing pounds too!

Loading day two is almost over thank GAWD. What I ate:

    3 Pillsbury Cinnabon rolls
    Glass of whole milk
A couple Sugar free chocolate jellos
    Soft Taco Supreme
Macadamia nuts - ate these all day long
Butter mints - (addicted to these... sad to see them go but I know it'll be good for me)
Personal Size Deep Dish Peperoni Pizza
2 Avocados on slices of Sourdough bread baguette
Finished up the Ben and Jerrys ice cream

    Still to go:
    Protein Bar
    Protein Shake

I really tried to eat all day, but it's been SO hard!

First loading day officially done. I will be glad to be finished with tomorrow. I look 5 months pregnant and feel wretched. I didn't even have any junk food today, but higher fat content for sure. I am not used to eating such quantities of food either. I feel like I am up 5 lbs.
I am also dead exhausted and have the mother of all headaches. I think it is more from only sleeping 3 hrs since yesterday. Going to head to bed. Hope everyone has a good night.

On another note which is completely off topic, I just watched the movie The King's Speech. It was incredibl. Colin Firth is brilliant. Highly recommend it to get your mind off food

Okay about that smooth move to get things movin'...Help! I've been drinking smooth move for two days, and lots of water, and nothing is moving. Any other things we are allowed to eat/drink that would help?
