Hello AGAIN everybody! I PROMISE I have not fallen off the wagon even though it may seem that way! Things have been kind of crazy since we got our lay off news but it will all come to an end a week from today YES!!!

So, since there are a TON of new people, I may as well introduce myself! My name is Kayli, I'm 25 and I did 2 rounds of HCG. I have always been an athlete and in good shape. I was always a "thick" girl (not in a bad way) but that's the way I'm built! Anyway, after college basketball was over I kind of gradually gained weight...shocking right! I have lost just over 50lbs (about 52ish) thanks to HCG!

I met my goal and I'm actually under it by a couple lbs. I exercise 5-6 days a week and I'm running my first 5K this weekend, I am SO excited!! What I'm even MORE excited for is the time I will have after I get laid off (I am also going to school). I am going to have more time to spend at the gym and get my lifting and cardio done in 1 shot rather than breaking it up every day.

It's seriously so amazing how much easier it is for me to run! I run 25 min on my lunch breaks w/ fluctuating speeds (it burns fat and helps build muscle) and I get 2.5 miles done and it feels GREAT!

My plan for the near future is to start lifting (to tone) and do cardio after with fluctuating speeds. I am very excited to tone everything up. I am not sure if the number on the scale will go down much but I know my body will change!

I am crossing my fingers for big losses for everyone that is on P2 tomorrow morning!!

    Annette- are you still maintaining??

Amanda- how is R2 for you??

Theresa- how did your surgery go?

I hope everybody is doing well!!!
    *Kayli*

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on some foods to start with tomorrow? Also maybe some food or things to stay away from.

    Thanks,

Hey, Amy: There's a whole place to look for p4 suggestions, tips, tricks, and other people's issues with it.:

    http://hcgdietinfo.com/hcgdietforums/f27/

There is lots of good info there. Mostly the foods in our books are good but go slow, one type of new food at a time soyou know what causes problems. Don't go nuts on carbs or you'll blow up like a balloon lol (maybe not but why risk it.) I'm going to probably get sprout grain bread (does not cause blood sugar spikes like regular bread, even whole grain) maybe some quinoa as a side dish, maybe a bit more fruit, yogurt... I'd go easy if I were you on potatoes and rice in the first few days. And remember that gains can show up 2 days later. I will get to some steal cut oatmeal at some point, maybe half a sweet potato one night to see if it is bad... hummus... yea I want hummus. With veggies. I wouldn't touch any white flour, white sugar, white rice, white bread, white potatoes for a long, long time... Do healthy carbs. I don't know what's up with the peppermint patty thing but it seems a bit nutty to me.

OK girls, here's one for you, which I posted on the "urgent" thread, too: I'm 34, and had 3 hot flashes today. I'm 100% sure that they were hot flashes. I know what they are from taking Clomid. I'm almost in P4. Have any of you experienced this, any of you that are pre-pre-pre-menopausal??? I never had one before Clomid, and this is the first time since.

I look forward to all of your wisdom- in the morning...

    p.s. I had a great P3 day today:
macadamia nuts for breakfast, not too hungry
4 oz chicken for lunch w/ parm cheese and some ... FAGE with walnuts and berries
    dinner: ribeye, salad, grilled veggies....

fantastic... Living on Ibuprophen, and feeling a bit more myself.

    night all.

    Good Morning!

I am officially P4 now! I am looking forward to trying new food. Going to the grocery store later. Thank you to those who made suggestions. I am still taking them. It is hard to believe I am in the home stretch of my diet. WOW!!

This part isn't about dieting, it's about eating to maintain your weight, making good choices, and learning to stay away from things that cause gains/ inflamation and retention... This part is about the life-long eating.... the P2 is the "DIET" and the rest is learning to maintain. You can live in P4 forever... and should, no home stretch... just maintain!! You can't look at it like "In 3 more weeks I'm done with P4 so I get to eat cake." becasue the truth is if you do/ feel/ live that way, you will gain it back. So, just think in terms of "3 weeks to see what carbs you can and can't eat while stabilizing and solidifying your metabolism" to make life-long good decisions.

COME ON PEOPLE, 8 POSTS BACK AND NO ONE GIVES A CRAP ABOUT MY STINKING HOT FLASHES??? Really is it that far gone or does a lack of response indicate no one is online or had had them at this age? I posted the same thing on the Urgent thread last night and only got one "gee, maybe it's your hormones" response.

Did I get anyone's attention or am I just asking for too much?

Damn first on this moring and last on last night and no responses... I'm getting a complex, ladies.
