I do see SOME folks who shorten and tweak but they are the ones who also disappear from view, OR they are the ones who come back later and say it didn't work and they are sorry they did it ... Your body needs time to repair and regroup regardless of which kind of hcg you are using ... it is still a lot of trauma for a body to take ... a lot of change ... we want you to do the best you can possibly do and that does not mean pushing yourself beyond your capabilities ... If you get to that place your body wants and/or needs other foods, I find it is time to quit P2 and take the much needed breather of P3 to stabilize and then if you must, you can cut some in P4 without being radical ... You didn't get where you are over night and you cannot expect your body to adjust back down over night either ...

OK .. all in all, it is only your business what you do, not mine ... but I want to see you a healthy, happy young woman enjoying your life, your hubby and your children ... so had to put my 2 1/2 cents worth in! Sorry ...
Maybe frustrated sometimes, but usually not upset. I will be taking more time for those things in these future rounds. Part of the reason I had a bad day Sunday is that I want to get under 200. Those last 10 pounds before stopping this round. The weight stopped dropping, and I got so frustrated that I tried to see if I could break my stall by having more calories (even though I went about it wrong). It's not because I want P3 or P4 foods or want to continue to beat myself up for long periods of time. lol I actually have less desire for P3-P4 then I did last round. It's just that haven't been on the other side of 200 in over 10 years and that's why I am a bit over anxious and frustrated at how slow it's become.

I will say I don't really think it's fair and kinda hurts to compare what I'm doing to those that come back and say the diet doesn't work, and that they regret it. I would never do that, I've lost 70 pounds, and I this diet is the only thing that has worked for me.

I'm only on VLCD 38 (and the first week of that wasn't even really VLC) so I haven't even extended this cycle yet. I'm not even close to the max weight loss suggestion in P&I this round. This round is fairly standard so far.

YIPES Sweet girl ... I didn't mean to compare YOU to them ... just saying that those are the types we read are tweaking the rounds to suit themselves and then find they don't work ... unfortunately, mostly we see them tweaking with a happy face, but they go elsewhere to say it didn't work, so we don't always know it didn't! I didn't mean you were like them at all ... I know we get frustrated .. and I have sabotaged myself in the past on other diets making excuses for myself, for cravings, for buckling .. was only trying to help and I went about it wrong. My apologies ...

I don't always come across the way I mean to ... then again, I am mean, so maybe that is how I come across?
Happy Scales to you ..... Pam

    Where IS everyone!

Down .9 today to 168 on the nose.

8 more lbs until goal! Dunno if I can hit it... 8 days of shots left and my little experimentations .... I'll try to be good... just this dang hunger... I'm thinking I used old bac water to mix and it has affected my batch?

IDK, I hate waste and I won't mix a new one ... we'll see how the chips (low carb chips, of course) fall...

    Hey all...

I thought I'd pop in after all this time and the site would only let me go to the chat box after I hit forum....I went to What's new and looked for our thread to log on.

    Kpooh! Doin' great I see.
    My best to everyone else...

Gut migraines have me in a twist. Very painful. I had to seek hydro colonics again--with excellent results.

If there are any migraine sufferers out there: Do you find that you suffer more Spring into summer than other seasons? I'm convinced now that the trigger is strong sun light and dappled sun. When I'm in the car and passing through tree lined streets --it's like strobe lights and BAM! I'm clutching my head.

I read a bit above about dieting seasons...I prefer to diet in Winter. My husband thinks that I'm an alien. I find it easier to shut down.

I love summer vegetables so I tend to partake and have no intention NOT to.

    Best to all.

Dieting seasons, hmmm, interesting. I think I'm more successful at dieting in the winter months too, now that you point that out. Now I'm curious, gonna keep track.
Julie, disappointing I know, but it'll all come out in the wash.
Kpooh, keep on rocking it girl! 8 days to a slimmer, sexier you!!!
Sorry I haven't been on much. Keeping track on my phone, but no time to reply. I finally dropped 2.8lbs after a six day stall, yipeee!!! Trying to stay focused here. I'm halfway through my round and am averaging .46lbs a day. I'd like to up that average some this last half though. Hope all the lacky and lurky Turkey's are doing well. TTYL Turkeys.

    Hey all,

Well doc put me on an antidepressant. I had tried doing vitamins, aminos etc, and they didn't do the trick, so I gave in when she suggested it. They made me sick the first few days, but feeling better now. p3 was all over the place for me. 123.4 was my Ldw, but my body settled at 126ish, so 126 became my adjusted ldw. During TOM went all the way up to 130 and didn't lose on a steak day but a couple of days later it started coming off. I had stayed 127-129 most of the time during TOM, but I stayed pretty clean, eggs, nuts, chicken, beef, cream(in coffee), yogurt, had chicken ceasar salads if went out to eat. Dropped fruits for a while till I got back down. So I have been back down to 126 for 3 days, I added cheese, just a little though. I could start p4 today but I leave for a long weekend away tomorrow, so I'm holding off, I don't want to gain before we leave. I will probably only eat one starch a day at most, like a baked potato or sweet potato. Oh and maybe ice cream out one day at marble slab, yum.

    R1 lost 22 lbs (189.6 to 167.6) 38 day-ave loss of .57
    R2 lost 20 lbs (168.2 to 148.2) 40 day- average loss of .5
R3 lost 22.4 lbs (142.8 to 126.4) 46 days -ave loss of .48 added 1/2&1/2, half way through average dropped.
    R4 lost 8.8 lbs (132.8 to 124) 26 days (used 1/2&1/2) average loss .33
    R5 lost 10lbs (133.2 to 123.2) 34 days w/ PI and upped calories.LDW 123.2

Turtle...I hope the antidepressants address whatever the problem is. One thing--some of them cause weight gain. Just be aware.
