    Morning all...
    Busy times ahead

    VLCD 20 - no movement
    up to to 79.4/174.7
    Total loss this round 4.2/9.24

Its weird... there is something in the water here....
we both are gaining stalling and losing about the same every day
I know I am guilty of not enough water the past two days

We are also both exercising and under a great deal of stress with work projects.... I know this is a set weight for a very longs time, so will just hang in there

I really believe in the setpoint weight, and body not wanting to let go. Hang in there, I think I was at a set point just now and this morning dropped 1.6 lb. That was wonderful! But was holding on t0 89. + for quite a while. Wish I was where you are, but I'll get there eventually. Last weekend I remembered in previous years on HCG I drank a lot of green tea that I would get at Whole Foods, so I went and purchased some--they come in 64 oz bottles and I'm trying to drink one a day. It helps me with getting the water down. It's organic so just tea. I add some clear Stevia to it and it goes down pretty well. Don't know that you all have a Whole Foods there? You could mix up your own tea, or maybe you are already doing tea?

Keep it up, Yvonne, Your are doing well, in spite of your pain and inflammation. I would love to be at 174, can't wait.

    Thanks you girl....
Some times I think that because I am not pushing myself as hard as I usually do. That its the reason I am having a bad round... but thinking of testing my supply this weekend... it is a tough one... because I generally do not have hunger issues... but with my neighbour also not losing just makes me wonder.... but she is not experiencing real hunger... a bit baffling to say the least.... but I do have s lot going on at the moment

    Morning again....

Interestingly, after responding here and on MissM's thread, it made me think.... I am in general very hard on myself... and the fact that I am not beating myself up about the scale, I am now beating myself up to get my 10,000 steps in, regardless of rain or shine...and with being so hectic with work and decluttering I am making very little time for myself..... so I decided to treat myself to a leisurely mid week bath as opposed to a quick shower and still managed to get 20 mins of walking in

a very interesting observation is that after having to fit all of my 10,000 steps in late yesterday evening I managed to get the best Sleep stats I have ever had since owning a smart watch (in excess of 5 years!) it is the first time i managed to recorded more deep sleep than light sleep with a nice 20% of REM..... AND the fluxuation between light and deep sleep was much less erratic....

anyways need to get to work....

    VLCD 21 - down.3/6.6lbs
    down to 79.1/174.0
    Total loss this round 4.5/9.9
    Net loss 2/4.4lbs

getting there slow but sure.... can still reach my goal

    Enjoy your day Bunnies ***

I love that you're finding new ways to measure health and progress beyond the scale, Yvonne--and that you're seeing real progress! I think that's very healthy, indeed. And there's something very different about "being hard on" yourself about getting steps and being hard on yourself about what the scale says. One you have control over and the other you don't. So, bravo, you!

ARRGH!! don't you just hate it when you type out a lengthy post, just to be distracted by the phone and then lose it all!!

MissD... very true...what we can and what we can't control... that be the key!... but with my walking, like my weight loss journey, I am an open book to all... and in doing so I encourage others.. Melissa my neighbour is a nightowl...so can't get her out of bed for a morning walk, but she now does every evening with me till I make my 10,000 steps... In addition, I have my Great-nephew on WhatsApp reporting in every morning from Australia on his weight, steps, walks and gym activity.... He just feels that it is nice to have an ear that actually understands his battle with weight and the scale... he is hoping for a 22lbs loss by end of February, but he is very good with his eating and his exercise.... and they too are plagued with a rainy season, so now he feels he has to walk when he can because he is reporting in to me....

We never realise how our own actions and deeds impact on others.... The day before yesterday, I put my neighbour (with whom I share a love of the spiritual) onto a video by Neil Walsh https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3u5rGWI4kY
and she then went on and listened to more videos of him... and she became so inspired to recommit to the weight loss process..... and that was just a simple conversation about something i love ... and just by talking about it... be it my weight, my health or what I love doing....the same way I love how you talk about your journey and changes you implement....

So today is the end of week 3....a slow round, but moving ever so slowly... just enough to still being able to reach my goal
Sometimes I am tempted to change my scale to pounds instead of Kgs.... my smallest measure is .22lbs that I can lose or gain.... that is FOUR whole BMI points.... so I need to remember that when the scale does not move

    VLCD 22 - down .2/.44lbs
    down to 78.9/173.56
    Total loss this round 4.7/10.34
    Net loss 2.2/4.84lbs

Anyways.... no matter how slow it moves.... the only thing that matters is that it Moves! in the right direction of course

    Enjoy your day Bunnies!!

Oh, Yvonne, what a beautiful perspective--and reminder to us all. We are all so very connected, even when we don't remember--all little candles that make up the sun! And when we shine brightly by doing the things that are loving and healing toward ourselves, of course it rubs off on others and helps them make loving choices and also shine more brightly, and then they have that impact on others as well. It really is a perfect system. And you remind us that even though we each have our own ways and styles of doing our thing, the way you do it so openly and with transparency so that others may latch on and join the party is very inviting and has a tremendous positive impact. I've certainly felt it myself. So THANK YOU for so openly sharing your journey with the best of intentions, always.

And I'm happy that you're also receiving support in return. Again, it's that perfect circle and that we're all one. Beautiful. XO

MissM... i truly believe that no one crosses my path without a lesson in it... either for me to learn... or me to teach... simply by just being
I do not believe I am to old to learn... this is what makes me... ME... sometimes as simple as googling the meaning if a word....

Today the weather is seriously 😒 impacting on my ability to reach my step goal...morning.. I overslept... lunch rained...after work raining... after dinner... raining and nor even 2000 steps yet!!!

Yvonne, unfortunately we can't control the weather. Sometimes you just do what you can get done--steps wise, unless you wanted to go to some type of indoor mall or something to walk. Probably don't want to do that now. You're doing great, don't be hard on yourself! You are wonderful!

When you have a glass of wine do you skip a fruit? The gal at my doc's office mentioned that's an effective strategy when in P4 to offset the effects of fructose. . . .

Congrats on your step streak! Give yourself credit for doing that for yourself, friend! Congrats, too, on your continuing losses. WOOOT!!
