SUCH an important reminder I needed to see this morning, Yvonne. I'll take inches over pounds any day--it's what really counts. . . .

And I'm THRILLED for you that this round is shaping up (or down, rather) to be much better than you were thinking it was. Hooray for that! So often we just need a little perspective shift. I've been working on my own this morning. More on that in my thread. XO

The way I see it is that I have inflammation with the boob in any case, I am usually very active, but with by jobs being such that I am glued to a computer screen from 8 - 4:30... i had to do SOMETHING.... and That's when I committed to a February Challenge on my Garmin... and having lost the steps over the weekend I had to make up for it, I will also put in extra steps over the weekend because I know Tuesday - through to Thursday is going to be hard to even steps to get to the bathroom!! and as you know by know.... I am goal driven and i like observing the numbers

Speaking of numbers - I updated my measurements spreadsheet and the proof is in the pudding!! during the last round I lost an average of 10.6 centimetres per week over 6.5 weeks and total scales loss was 10kgs
This round I have lost 13.25 centimetres per week over 4 weeks...
this is against load weight (6.9 km) or LIW (4.4km
tomorrow is measurement day again, but It is pretty stable
I noticed the inches over the past few days, the leggings I was wearing, were all saggy on me....
i even tried on a few pairs of trousers that were too tight a month ago and 5 found their way back into my cupboard!!

A true reflection of what the protocol is all about.... POUNDS and inches!
So, I say... do not let the scale get the better of us....I would rather have a lower scale value and I am firmed up...and Healthier!

    anyways, let me rune
    Toodles all!

    r

Amen to all that...do not let the scale get the better of us. It is Pounds and Inches! Have a great Friday!

Yvonne, when I was transitioning to my PI, I truly didn't feel any hunger at all during my 3 days of transition time, and just at little on the 4th day. I think sometimes the idea of missing our hcg can freak us out. Hope you do ok, you got this, If I was remembering correctly you wanted to go till first few days of March, right? You're almost there. Let us know how today went. Guess you can't go home and do your injection a little late?

I actually seldom experience hunger... especially on HCG... however
Since my P3 and P4 over november and december I started experiencing feelings of hunger...
I never ever had a problem on my last 72 hours.... but effectively by tomorrow morning I would be on 72 hrs.... been a really freaky crazy craving day....

    Hi all...
I did not weigh this morning.... I accidentally bought Pork Sausages thinking it was Chicken Sausages,,, had two meals of that over the weekend!!!!
But Right now weight is the last of my worries.... I very close friend of almost 40 years was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor , more tests tomorrow and most likely surgery on Thursday..... I need to be in a space of calm and peace so I can be there for her in any way I can... so stressing about the scale just does not seem at all important.... She is scared... and I am scared for her...

I will see P2 through to next week and then worry about what my weight is.... for now my energies are needed elsewhere

    Stay strong bunnies...

Heard from her a bit earlier, and the reality of the situation kicked in, running around to sort out powers of attorney etc etc....

It's such a scary place she is in right now..... I am just happy that she has so much that's keeping her occupied right now, that there is no time to go into a dark space of fear and dispair .....

I have this dark cloud over me today hoping that this is not the last we speak ...I offered to pop over today or tomorrow (scared of what could transpire in surgery) but she is so busy.... and I also get it, I think it takes so much for her to hold it together that a face-to-face meeting may be just too much for her to handle

All I can do is hope and pray

Yvonne, so sorry to hear what your friend and you, by extension are going through right now. I worked for years getting patients very expensive medication for brain tumors, glioblastomas--most serious of brain tumors. Shared many conversations with these patients and their families. Just sad, no other words. I feel for you both. Prayers and loving thoughts out to her, her family, and you--her friends. Like you said, it puts our struggles with scale and food into a little perspective, doesn't it. Take care. People respond to these situations differently, don't take any offense if she gets introspective--and needs a little time alone. Virtual hugs to you.

Thank you friend.... I do realise where you are coming from.... as an (ex) nurse I know all of that too well.... also having gone through 2 rounds of cancer, I know all too well, the well wishers who say, I know exactly what you are going through.... my aunty..my uncle.... unless you have gone through it all... you do not know... and even if you did, we are all wired differently... I am just happy that she is kept so busy getting her affairs in order that there is little alone time.... The Professor (I suppose part of the perks of being a doctor, you get the best treatment)is seeing her this morning and will discuss more results with her and decide when to do surgery

She has always been there for me, and i will most definitely be there for her, if she is going for Surgery on Thursday I will quickly pop out tomorrow during the day to go have a coffee and a hug with her...

    Morning Bunnies....
Was really upset last night and had a good old cry on another friend's shoulder.. and i feel stronger for it this morning

I did weigh this morning and still stuck at 76.6....with one week left to go this brings
my total loss down to 7kgs/15.4
    Nett loss after P3 - 5.4/11.9
Nett loss after LIW round 1 - 4.5/9.9....

and total loss to date 14.5/31.9

I have had a few accidental skip days, and not 100% sure where day 40 is, today would have been day 37, i know i lost 3 days, but it could be 4... so I have decided to make next week Wednesday my last injection day.. that would make it 44 injections, minus the accidental missed days

this will take my 4 weeks (2nd round) of P3 to 2 April... Easter weekend... so for safety i will plan to stay p3/p4 for at least another week and will then see where my life is at that time before cycling back.. but that's for later.. for mow I want to squeeze what I can out of this last week

I have had an interesting experience this morning.... i have had some HCG in my freezer, and the past two years in my fridge, I think since 2015.... I kept it but my mind kept saying that it could not possibly be viable any longer... so yesterday I popped out and purchased a pregnancy test.... mixed this morning and had the strongest positive i have ever seen on an HCG test!!! What a bonus! this will give me my last few shots and will also see my neighbour through to her 40 days ....
