Whilst walking this evening, my neighbour and I had an a-ha moment
She had a reasonable round, but like me, started stalling after we put in serious daily steps....
I am not sorry for doing this, but this could be a learning experience for future HCGers

PS... decided not to cycle immediately after P3.... i am off on a weekend away on the weekend of the 16th of April... giving me two weeks of P4... but i get my neighbour to do a proper P3 and P4.... she isvery excited to do a next round

Hcg can be so easy... but it can be so complex.. and 99% of the time we are the ones making it complex

Amen to that,! Simeons said we can be tiresome sometimes, when patients try and tweak the protocol. Ha! You're actually not much of a tweaker tho!

Thanks Dubbles....you are always so sweet, kind and supportive...
how much longer do you have? have you ended you PI or is it still going?

So today is LIW, and guess what?? today of all days the scale decided to break the "stall"
    Down by 400g/.88lbs
I had to laugh.... my scale has a THING for the .1s!!
    I started on 91.1
    I ended on 81.1
    (P3 weight 82)
    and today I end on 76.1 (167.4)

Total loss including load weight - 7.5kg/16.5lbs
    Total loss from P3/P4 weight - 5.9kg/13lbs
    Net Loss - 5kgs/11lbs
Total loss over two rounds - 15kg/33lbs

Wondering what will transpire during the next 72 hrs...
I will not try to lose more weight in the next three weeks, but is the scale did finally decide to budge and do so for the next 3 weigh ins.... it may be an interesting P3....

    enjoy the day bunnies!!

Yay, Yvonne! Congrats on what I see as clearly successful rounds!!

I'm pretty sure Dubbles is back into P2 for two weeks, and we're sending her lots of good juju because it's been a challenging transition. I can imagine after the relative and short freedom of a P3-style PI it is. . . .

I'm in a similar boat to you, Yvonne, in that I'm curious if my weight will drop when I finally start my period as it usually does. I guess all we can do is wait and see. I figure a higher LIW might make things a bit less stressful in P3 anyway, giving us a little more leeway if we end up naturally falling to a lower number. Who knows? Soon we will!

Best of luck with these last days of VLCD. I've found it a bit challenging this time around. Hungry. And ready for more variety! But sticking with it to the end, because that's what we do!!

    XO

    Morning all....
The revenge of the scale... 24 hrs after LIW!
As you know , my scale was relentlessly stuck for about 3 weeks... and on my very last day It dropped by .88lbs....
    And today.... another 500 gr/1.1lbs
This messes with what my LIW should be???
I think I should just ride out the 72 hours and see what the scale says by Saturday morning.... and then ride out weel 1 of P3 and take it from there
I did expect the scale to start making ving at SOME point....lets just see what happens

    Have an awesome day all!

Haha, revenge of the scale, indeed! I think you're right: the only thing to do is just wait and see. Maybe just as folks need to adjust their LIW up, you can mentally adjust yours down if needed--but still have the wiggle room of what your LIW was so as not to overcorrect. I don't know. Just thinking out loud. Must see how things shake out. But congrats, friend!

Yvonne, I agree with Miss M, very good rounds! I know you think it has been slow, but you are one of those inspirational voices on forum to me! I don't know that I would mess with the LIW. Keeping as is will allow you some latitude when you do start adding more food to your eating. Unless it goes down a lot more. I think the wiggle room is comforting, and would make P3 not so stressful. You have enough stress , without adding a lot to it. Just one person's opinion. Let us know what you decide. So your P3 begins on Saturday, good for you! Gonna be a great weekend!

Miss M's right, I'm on day 7 back into P2, or should be day 7 of dosing, but per Leez's advice will be skipping dose today. Next Wednesday (I like to end on Wednesdays, like you) will be my LIW. Scale moved down another 1.2 this morning, so (not counting weight gained then lost after loading) I've lost another 3.2 during past 4 vlc days. (It's been 6 days back on Hcg, but 2 were loading days). So I think it is going well. Total losses this round --25.2 lbs. Happy with that. We'll see how this next week goes. Will be joining all p3ers on Saturday, March 13th. Exciting days ahead. You have done great, have much to be "chuffed" about!

Lol... I must giggle about how this lone Sous Efrican is rubbing off on you Dubbles!. ... there are some delightful expressions here that runs cross culturally... chuffed is one of mine
Another word that can not be truly translated is LEKKER... it is an experience... a taste...a feeling... all dependent on the context it is used in

Yeah I totally agree my LIWs are ALWAYS on a Wednesday.... i will jippo my skip days to ensure LIW is on a Wednesday always.... that way it is the glorious Saturday breakfast

Sure ladies... not planning on complicating my life.... As long as I know that I am sticking go protocol and not deliberately keeping calories low i will go with the flow.... but definitely nothing over the 2pound window from LIW will be tolerated... i have a feeling that the efforts of my calories out may pay off in P3... i think HCG protected me in P2... just s thought... we shall watch this space

And Dubbles... thank you so much for your kind words... always remember... something small you say can make a huge difference to someone else... i just simply try to live my authentic self... and so much of my babbling is simply me talking to myself... but I am truly grateful that in doing so... it could be meaningful to you... you are a truly kind soul... dont sell yourself short... i see you being a mother hen go everyone... you are spreading a great deal of inspiration dvery day ***

Lol.... where did the prengnacy question come from Hahaha

I am so with you on the 2 lb over LIW , I'm going to make that a cornerstone of phases 3 and 4! And the pregnancy comment came from Miss M's still not starting TOM. Ya know she has her BF come visit many weekends, and I'm sure she looks ravishing now!
