    Morning bunnies!!!
At my dnd it is the start of a nice 4 day weekend... tuesday is a public holiday and i took a days leave on Monday.... so will be busy busy packing up and putting stuff on Marketplace to sell.... funny thing a couple of years ago, i belonged to a freecycling group and I gave so much good stuff away it is scary compared to the stuff I have been selling off since january... ... at the start I allowed money to be paid into my account, but I realised it just vanishes into thin air... so I started a marketplace piggy bank and by the end of today (pending collections) i will have R 5000 in it.... almost double what I need for the movers and any stuff I need to get to settle in the new place And I am having so much fun decluttering!!

So this is day 6 of P2
5th weigh in is down 500g/1.1 pound
Which puts my nett loss at 1.3 pound down so far for week - with 2 more weigh-ins to go

Fingers crossed for a good day...

Oh Yvonne, I need so badly to do what you are doing. I need to get rid of so much. My hobby is actually my house, gardening, decorating, redecorating, so I have so much in my basement that I really need to get rid of. I give a lot regularly to Goodwill, just drop off items--but a lot of it is worth some money, at least a little. Used to have a nice consignment store that would take bigger items and sell them for you. It was so nice, but during Covid , she closed down. We do have an online place you can put items for sale on--guess like your Marketplace--but I hate having strangers coming to my house a lot. Good luck on your next weigh-ins. If I remember you are doing a 40 day round. So you'll be here until the end of May anyway, right?

Yes Dubbles.... I will be here... with bells on... haha
I was thinking of a PI during The move.... but chances are probably better, knowing myself that I can Do p2 not totally clean... but if i prepare I can do it... and the plan is to fo a nice casserole and freeze it as a meal for friends helping... i am packing as much as i can this weekend,... as i have my cleaning lady next weekend so i can do a lot of the cleanup before the actual move

As you know me by now, i am pedantic and I like being prepared... only cause of concern is that I have not found what I am looking for yet and I really want to do this mid May

Regarding marketplace.... it is a Facebook second hand and new stuff being sold... but I guess you guys use ‘Craigs list’???
I am lucky that I am in a security complex (par for course in Sunny SA)
But for collections I advertise within my greater Community... and in general on our Community Forums I am know to contribute a lot to Charity within our community ... so I feel safe for local collections...
In fact I had. circular saw listed for a couple if weeks... great interest but no one pitched to pay an collect...
this afternoon a young Zimbabwean gentleman arrived to collect... i sold him another carpentry tool and hop to pass on some stuff he can use an I cannot sell after the move.... hoping to help him establish a private business to support his family.... it gives me great pleasure to see someone else's eyes light up at a bargain....

This is good for the soul....

I had cravings... num num feelings today but I am on protocol...

    Good afternoon/morning to all!
Today was a bit topsy turvy....
I woke up very very early and could not fall asleep again without the aid of the TV and for some reason bedroom tv lost signal, so i got comfy on the couch and woke up at about 9:30 am... yikes!!!!
So too late to weigh... i was considering not skipping today... because I have been experiencing hunger/craving signals
But considering the time I woke up.... skip day was established
Had a friend over helping me sort out stuff in the garage do i can get sorted with my packed boxes and can get everything thats not mine, out
Ended up missing lunch.... gave my friend a packet of nachos... and had some.... me bad!
Me ever badder as I had a gin and sugar free tonic
Burnt a lot of energy... i know it does not excuse the bad... but I am now starving for good P2 food... it is getting chills here di thinking if making a few P2 soups for the week

    Take care all ***

Yvonne, such a nice story, helping the young gentleman starting his business with a few tools. We have lots of duplicate tools and so many GOLF Clubs! Have a great rest of your Sunday, I just looked and seems a lot of your Sunday is gone, its about 4:00 int the afternoon there, while I am typing post at 10 a.m. here. I think you mentioned having a 4 day weekend? Off work till Wednesday? Have fun but looks like it'll be a working holiday for you. Sometimes just having the free time to do what needs to be done is the best holiday! I remember those days when I was working full time! Have a good one!

Hi Yvonne and happy Sunday! If you were starting to experience hunger/cravings it sounds like perfect timing for a skip day. Pay close attention to how you are feeling after 4 pm. If your hunger is better it’s a sign you should lower your dose. If you experience more hunger, you should increase your dose.

    Morning bunnies!!
I seem to have missed your responses before bedtime

Dubbles... yes the decluttering is very satisfying... to see someones face light up for getting a bargain in things that no longer have value to me... but at the same time having raised more than what I need for The upcoming move... thats my bonus I guess

JBG.... i do skip days once a week in any case... 125 ius has been my sweet spot for quite some time... after 2 to 3 weeks i often have to drop down to 115/120ius.... i think the cravings was a result of higher activity an lack of normal routine

    As for me...
Regardless of the higher activity and indiscretion, my scale has not moved over the past 2 days...
So end of week 1 and although I am down 3.6kg/7.9lbs....
The only loss I have bragging rights on is 600grm /1.3lbs nett weight from LIW
    Its a start

Yes it is! And you now have less to lose so the week 1 losses might not be as huge as they once were. Don't work too hard. You were talking about dropping your dose, that is something I have never done. Someone mentioned to me that since I am thinking about food so much, that maybe I should lower my dose--you know, she may've been right. I's too late now, today was my last dose day, but I am going to keep that in mind for future reference. Enjoy these next 2 days off, but working (hA).

    Good morning all
A bit of a late check in
Been up and about very early this morning had the handy man in after a run to the hardware store...packing as much as I can....As today is a public holiday thats the best i can do today... but stress levels lower than yesterday

As for the scale only 200gm/.44 down today
It may be a round filled with challenges... but on the bright side... so much happened at the moment means less focus on food... just need to prepare some real p2 snack to aboud skipped meals

I have found around 3:00 in afternoon, I am really wanting something. And the baked apple with cinnamon does it for me, everyday. I tell myself everyday, I'll try and skip it, but rarely can I talk myself out of that afternoon snack. Maybe my blood sugar level drops then? Don't know, but It makes me appreciate that Dr S. allowed for the two fruits during p2. Sounds like exciting times for you!
