Thread: How do you know HCG is WORKING in P2??

  1. #13
I'm worried that being this chew your arm off hungry means that I'm not metabolizing any fat as you are meant to on this diet.

Yes, that chew your arm off hunger is exactly what happens when dose is off. And it doesn't abate when you eat.

Let us know know how you are feeling tomorrow afternoon. What dose are your currently taking?

Hi, sorry I've been too rushed off my feet at work to respond earlier.

My dose is 150IU. I missed a dose this morning which I usually take at 6 am, at around 11 am I felt neutral however I did succumb to a diet coke and sugar free chewing gum (zero calories) at 10am because I felt like I was going to break the diet.

So as I said 11 am I felt neutral with my hunger, by 12.30 hungry for lunch, all afternoon hungry.

I'm just so worried the injections aren't doing anything for me and I am going to gain weight back plus more because if the injections aren't working then I am muscle wasting.

Around 4pm is when you take stock of hunger on a skip day. Hunger levels before that don't tell us anything useful.

Thanks for helping me out Leez :-)

4 pm I felt hungry, not chew arm off hungry, but hungry. I didn't have the neutral empty but not hungry feeling.

So the hunger level is better than normal, then?

Less hunger means the dose is wearing off and giving you some relief. If it keeps getting less as the evening goes on that means your dose is too high.

If hunger increases throughout the evening, and gets worse than it was before the skip day, that means dose is too low.

So monitor for the next couple hours and that should tell you which way to adjust (by a 25iu increment).

Since your hunger is steadily increasing after lateafternoon, it looks like you need to raise your dose. Try 175iu tomorrow.

If after raising your dose for a couple days, you are still having hunger, its a good idea to test your HCG with a full dose on a pregnancy strip to make sure it is viable. If so, then you would raise a bit more at that point.

    Morning Leez...
I find this an interesting read... with past experience and now again I tend to start out with 125iu and always worked...Interestingly enough after a few days I need to drop down to about 115ius and never ever hungry....

interestingly with this whole infection/inflammation thing I started experiencing a "feeling of want" at about 4 in the afternoon but will disappear after I had dinner..do you think the inflammation affects my HCG and that's why I get the peckishness?

I thought of taking it back up to 125iu but I only have 5 more shots left so may just let it ride.... I draw all my shots upfront so I just need to grab one every morning... If you think it will help to take it back up to 125 I can do...

I'd stick with what you are doing till the end. Since your bit of hunger disappears when you eat, its not a concern. Its normal to feel a little hungry at regular meal times, although not everyone experiences that.

A dose change is only indicated if you have the kind of strong hunger that can't be ignored or remedied by eating.
