Thread: Heart Pain?

    Heart Pain?

    Hi there!
I am currently on R2/P2/D21. I'm taking homeopathic drops, and so far I'm down 45 pounds from when I started so I'm loving the HCG diet. I know that fatigue and weakness is a side effect of this diet, however this round it seems worse. I didn't feel many side effects last round but on my second, it feels like any extra exertion of energy is incredibly draining and its causing my heart to feel weak. I black out pretty much every time I stand up and it feels like I'm beginning to get palpitations. Its making me worried, but I'm not quite sure what to change. I'm only 19 years old and weigh 150 lbs, so I don't think I had any heart or physical problems to begin with. Any advice?

You may be blacking out because of low blood pressure. (Lower blood pressure is common with HCG). Take 1/2 tsp of salt (use sea salt or mineral salt if available) in an 8oz. glass of water as soon as you read this. And then do it again in a little while. That should help.

You may have an electrolyte issue as well, as that can cause weakness and palpitations. Using mineral salt will help with that, also magnesium and potassium. If you don't have any magnesium or potassium on hand in supplement form, stir a 1/2 tsp of cream of tartar into your salt water. You can get some magnesium by soaking your feet in an epsom salts bath.

The other thing I would add is to check your drops and make sure they read hcg 3x, 6x, 12x and not something else like amino acids. There are a ton of fake drops out there, and if you're taking one of those you are damaging your metabolism. It's very important to check!
