    I'm back...

Unfortunately, I've gained about 30 lbs (which is better than regaining 60; I'm trying to be positive) and I am back again doing another round. This is day 2 of the VLCD. I overindulged a lot at Christmas and it actually feels good to be following this after the holiday excesses. I'm doing injections instead of my usual sublingual rx. This was kind of a spur of the moment decision. I had some bacteriostatic water and syringes from another medication my doctor wanted me to try, and I had some old hcg. But I haven't taken the time to get to the store and prep some food. That's on today's agenda. My new Instant Pot saved me on the night before day 1 as I was able to get some frozen chicken breasts cooked very quickly to take to work the next morning and I had lettuce and oranges already in the house. These forums seem very quiet. I wonder if they'll get a little busier when January arrives and more people are trying to lose weight.

Nice to see you posting again Jmmrrr. Sorry for the reason though. Having to re-lose weight you've already lost is a lot harder than losing the first time. But its also peaceful, because we can be confident that this will work in a predictable, effective way.

I've done rounds without much prep, and its really not that hard. I found that there is usually someway to get through loading and the first day or two of VLCD with what is on hand.

Hope it goes smoothly for you this time.

Welcome back, Jmmrr! I hope you like doing the injections. There's always something so comforting about knowing hcg is there and will work for you!

Thanks you both for the nice welcome back. It's not the first time I have to re-lose weight I've already lost and I'm certain it won't be the last. Oh well...

Well, day 3 wasn't perfect, but I managed. I had flight delays all day and got home a couple hours late exhausted. I'd taken lunch with me to work, but not dinner. I started work at 5am and didn't have a moment to eat anything until about 2pm when I had lunch. By 7, I was grumpy and out of steam. Given the choice of eating off protocol or collapsing on the floor, I ate some chicken breast at work, but it did have unknown tandoori spices on it and I didn't weigh it, just estimated. When I got home at 9, I ate a piece of fruit and decided I was too tired for a vegetable.

Day 4 I was so not hungry all day I couldn't even finish my dinner. Weight loss is proceeding nicely and I feel good.
