I would consider going back on your potassium and magnesium supplement. The magnesium will also help you sleep better, and that can help calm things down.
You may be right that your hormones are still adjusting after surgery. HCG is a pregnancy hormone, and its not uncommon to have changes to your cycle from its influence. Since you still have ovaries, that may indeed be what is affecting your scale progress. But it is unlikely it will interfere with your overall result in the end. You just seem to be on a wild ride as you are getting started.

I think kelsey mentioned in another thread that 3 pound gain was because her scale was off.
We often forget that scale malfunction can be a factor in these mysterious gains.
