I'm baaack lol HCG is a miracle!

    Hi all,

Some of you long-timers might remember me. I have had such great success with HCG in the past. I ended up losing over 100 pounds and have mostly kept it off until this past year. I have gotten into triathlons over the past five years, especially long-course ones. But with all the closures of gyms and races canceled, I put on a few Covid pounds. Now, having this extra weight while getting ready for races and also wanting to get out of the yoga pants and wear "hard pants" as my kids call them, I decided to revisit HCG and get myself cleaned out. I need a reminder of how great it feels not to be inflamed and why certain foods affect me so much. So, I'm eager to lose in P2, but also eager to stabilize with a slow re-entry in P3.

All that to say, WOW! I am starting VLCD 3 right now and after only two VLCDS, I'm down 8.6 pounds. I had gained 4 with loading, but still. WOW. It just goes to show how much inflammation I was carrying.

I'm also reminded about how HCG makes me just not want to eat. I really struggle to get the protein in. I'm doing it, but it's a real challenge--almost like the taste of food changes. I guess that's a good problem to have!

Anyway, thanks for reading. I just wanted to connect and share an update.

Have a great round, fellow P2'ers!
    Blessings,
    Nicole

Well, after 3 VLCD, I'm down another 2.6 making that a total of 11.4 of the 29 I wanted to lose. I know it's going to slow soon, but it sure is fun seeing those big losses!
    Blessings,
    Nicole

Looks like you are on track for a very good loss round.

I agree with you, HCG has been a miracle for me too.

Yay! Starting VLCD 8 today and am down 16 pounds. Love it. I sense a slow down approaching, so I'm mentally preparing myself to be happy with any loss. It's been quite a ride this first week!!
    Blessings,
    Nicole

Yeah, it's amazing. I'm down another today. My body just loves this program so much. I'm also continuing with my triathlon training and not skipping a beat. I don't feel tired or depleted at all.

    Thank you!!
    Blessings,
    Nicole

    Thank you!!

That's wonderful that you feel you can continue y0ur training while on hcg. There was a guy posting that did really hard core tennis matches, a LOT, and he continued thruout his hcg r0unds. I'm amazed, but happy for you that you have that energy!

Yeah! I got in a 50-mile bike ride on Monday and a two-mile swim yesterday. I feel great. Thank you!
