    I'm back: Progress thread

Hi everyone! I had a great round last winter in December and stabilized below my LIW until around March when under extreme stress from several aspects of life. My youngest had emergency surgery and a lot of trauma and some other issues. I also added in strength training during this time which increased my appetite and I did gain several lbs of muscle and could tell my legs and arms got a lot stronger. I worked with a personal trainer for a while. Anyways I also struggled with emotional eating and eating some trigger foods and was too stressed to keep weighing daily and ended up gaining back 10 lbs but not all the weight I'd lost in Dec. and I noticed I gained weight back on my rear and thighs mostly. So I think the HCG had re-distributed the weight nicer this time. But I could still tell I needed to do another round.

I am on day 14 and the first week was great and lost 5 lbs. However I've stalled since then. But looking back I stalled around 128 last round also. I am teetering in and above that area but today I tightened down my protocol more and going to really work on being a lot more careful. I was being too rogue past while. I re-read Pounds and Inches and that helped me get motivated.

July 4-6 were really hard with cravings and blood sugar swings and then today I was able to realize it was a dose issue and upped it a bit and feel much better today! I'm thankful. Upping the dose helped tremendously.

I am going to stick this out for about 23 days this time and see where we are. I have enough for a full round but hoping to be close to my goal by then.

I will say I almost ended the round early yesterday because I felt SO bad on the low dose. But I'm so thankful I stuck it out and just going to ride it one day at a time and stick to simple broth, egg whites and talipia mostly with LOTS of fresh green veggies and a lemon here and there.

Leez, I so appreciated all your encouragement last round. So thank you again and I hope to keep somewhat updated on how things go this round here.

Oh and I have HCG Chica's p3 to Life program. She had a sale on it and I got it a while back so hoping to try that p3 style to see how that goes long term with stabilization. I have a feeling p4 is where I may need the most will power. I seemed to do fine with p3 and stabilized till it got to adding in almond flour and other yummy keto things. All the goodies I love and after a while missed. Esp. peanut butter. Every time I ate that I would gain. But during that time I was too stressed to get on the scale and track.

Anyways, glad to join y'all here!! Would love to hear of anyone else on P2 for July!

Glad to hear from you again MissJess, and happy that you solved your dose issue. The second week stall woes are real, but hang in. Your body will start releasing again soon.

The round that gets you to (or back to) goal can be really challenging with stalls, but it somehow works out in the end.

Thanks Leez, that is an encouraging reminder about stalls. I just keep reminding myself to just keep going one more day. The days fly by and p3 will be great. I look forward to that. I can really tell a difference in my cravings since I upped my dosage (it was on the very low end) and now I'm not thinking about food all the time! So thankful. I didn't think I could make it much longer. Esp because I"m cooking for my family! Dose is a huge thing, so thankful to get it tweaked. I made a mistake when I mixed it and added in a bit too much bac, water so just have to add in extra each dose realized to make it the right amount.

Well, finally broke that stall this morning down to 127. I think it was that my dose was too low. My hunger went away yesterday and felt SO much better. So will stay with the right dosage. Dosage is so huge! 8 more days till 23 injections and will re-evaluate then.

126 this morning so thankful the dose change has helped my losses. I've been eating green smoothies with parsley, lemon and stevia 2x a day and a salad with cucumbers a non fat greek yogurt and ACV dressing (just a bit) and non fat chicken on top. I also tried making egg white protein sparing bread and it turned out great with a little cinnamon on it. I'm curious where I'll land in the next week weight wise. I'd love to get a few more pounds off.

Down .9 lbs this morning but feel a bit bloated tonight not sure why. I've been doing protein sparing egg white bread. But it's 100 percent egg whites with salt and cinnamon. Chicken on cucumbers also. Felt tired today but it was busy with the kids and took them to the pool. Drinking green juice daily. I've got a long list of recipes I can't wait to try in p3.

Anyone have any favorite recipes with Talipia for p2? Going to cook some up for tomorrow in the air fryer! Hope everyone else in P2 is hanging in there!

Went back to 126 today. I don't think it's dose but I am PMS. Just wait it out.

There is this lemon slushie recipe with just lemon juice stevia and ice and a little water and I add rasp lemon magnesium powder. It's so good. Been enjoying that.

I would be careful of overcooking any fish - air fryers are pretty hot, aren't they? I sear my tuna and salmon in a deep saucepan on the stove, or in a cast-iron skillet on the grill.

Good idea gz9gig! Yes, overcooking is never good. If I get it in for the right time it turns out better than the instant pot.

Well, this morning was hoving lower at 126. I think this might be around where I settle as I have four days left in VLC till my 23rd injection and I start transitioning to p3. I'm fairly happy with 126. That was my LIW for my last round but then I went to 122 when I went to p3 but stabilized around 124 until the stress hit a few months later. I did stabilize at 124 until about April/May then the creep started and it got up to 134, hence round 2!

Lots of inflammation and TOM today and was up to 127.9 I didn't sleep well and achey all over and just not feeling that well plus TOM really can add on the water weight. Hoping that settles down soon! I am so tired. It's been a very busy week here for my kids. Still not hungry and my dose seems just right. So thankful for that. I am content right now on p2 but just hoping the scale gets back down! I'm wondering how much longer I should extend past 23 days. Or if I should stop at 23? I really want to stabilize. Leez, have you found people stabilize better if they go past 23 injections?

Yes, the experience on the forums has been that at 30 days, you get a stabilization as good as doing the long round.

The tiredness could be electrolyte balance related. (To me, it feels like when your legs get heavy from lactic acid buildup after running too long.) Try adding a little pink salt to your water. When you feel that tiredness coming on, also add some potassium. If you don't have the supplement around, you can use a quarter tsp of cream of tartar. (That delivers about 125mg potassium) You can repeat a few times a day if needed.

The TOM thing is just something you have to wait out. Maybe don't even get on the scale during those days. It can be demoralizing to see the water swings.
