    insane cravings

Hi, having hard time keeping those darn cravings at bay. I am good all day except for the evening, when I am tired/cranky and have to put my lil ones to bed. So long story short, I have pretty much caved A LOT and snuck some treats in my mouth.
any advice for those manic cravings attack??
Also I read on another post that coconut oil is ok with cocoa powder on P2?? Doesn't sound right to me, anyone know

    Thanks

No coconut oil with cocoa is not okay on P2. Often the reason for cravings is a dose that is off. What dose are you on?

Well I am currently taking 120 iu, day 16 vlcd. I have only lost 5 pounds and find it very hard to be consistent day to day. It's not hunger but cravings when I am tired, which is probably why I need to lose weight in first place. I started at 200 iu, scaled down to 175, then 150, now find 120 to be good, but again, I just think this diet is sooo incredibly hard.
every day is a new stuggle, I won't let it beat me but, I didn't realize how hard this would be.
and tea with stevia just doesn't cut it.
    sorry to rant!!

You should have lost more weight that that in 16 days. Really at least 10 pounds. Are you following Pounds and Inches food? How long have you been on a lower dose? You were on much too high of a dose and that can affect your losses.

When I started I followed 200 iu as instructed from NuImage, big mistake. then when I came on these forums I was told to drop dosage, well day after day, I was feeling terrible at 175, then 150, then I skipped a day, then dropped to 100iu, then up again to 125. I dosed at 130 today, feeling a little hungry and ate my lunch early. I was ok in afternoon as well. I just cant get rid of cravings. I am afraid to up my dosage because I did not feel well when dosage was higher. So I guess thats my problem, finding that right dosage amount.
So I shouldnt feel ANY cravings? I wish. I actually feel cravings more intensely now then I did before I started HCG. Oh and yes, I am following the food per protocol. I just break down after I eat (thats when I crave) just after lunch and dinner, not during rest of day.
Thanks any help would be appreciated!!

No you really shouldn't be having any cravings. How did you feel on 100? The fact you're hungry at lunch indicates it may still be too high. When did you skip last? if at least 4 days ago, I'd skip tomorrow and carefully gauge how you feel after 4 and into the evening.

Honestly on my skip days I feel great, hungry at night but not crazy, I skipped last on Saturday so I will skip tomorrow.
    What to do then?

If you feel better, then I would lower to 100 iu. You can actually go as low as 80.

I do have one last question, I have read that sometimes perimenopousal or menopausal women need a low dose such as 80 to 100 iu. Does it mean anything that I feel good at that dose as well, being that I am only 38? I followed your advice and yesterday dosed at 100, felt lil hungry, today I dosed at 90, it's almost lunch but I'm not really that hungry. So I will stick to 90, just wondering if that indicates something is going on in my body I'm not aware of.
    thanks again

needing a lower dose has nothing to do with age. I've seen 20 year olds who did best on 100 iu. It doesn't indicate a thing other than you need less hcg than some.

    Hi Catd
I had that happen to me last night. (Already had second meal earlier) I made the mistake of not eating at the right time so I was starving and had to watch my sons play. (Which was awesome). There was a huge table filled with cupcakes and you name it and even though sweets aren't usually my thing, I was dying for one. Dying!
Then my son wanted Taco Bell, my absolute favorite , and I thought I was going to rip the burrito out of his mouth.
    Here is what saved me.
I cooked those miracle noodles and sprayed one pump of can't believe it is not butter spray. I know, maybe not protocol but no calories or fat or carbs and I put pepper flakes on it and then had 2 grissinis. So my total "cheat calories" were 40. Not 400. And the best thing is that I woke up this morning with a 2pound weight loss. Just get those noodles. They fill you up. You need something and I think that is what they are good for You got this!
