    Good morning everyone!

Well the scale finally moved - down 1.4!! I'm at 141.4. I was hungry yesterday but not starving like I was last week. I did have a little extra protein at dinner. If I can stay like this and not feel terrible I would like to go the full 40 days. It's only a little more than a week. Jen I was having the same bathroom issue (sorry about the TMI) and the smooth move tea finally helped me yesterday. I am really looking forward to started phase 3 but if I can lose another few pounds right before I stop phase 2 I will be extremely happy.

Stacy you're exactly right the way the losses go in the rounds. Week 3 was horrible to most of us. I always ate extra protein the last day before Phase 3 without a problem. Heck I'm doing that now on phase 2 lol

When I go out for dinner I usually get steamed broccoli plain and I don't think it affected me too much.

Have a great day ladies! We're almost there lol

Well, that's it! I have lost 1.6 lbs in the last 10 days. Even I cannot stand this slow pace.

It is apple day for me today. I am headed to the store to get myself some big, crunchy apples right now!

I think I am losing inches though. I have had 2, count that 2, women on my street remark to me about my weight loss (just in the last 2/3 days) and ask me what I am doing. I know my body has to reduce the inches, as I am carrying too much of a stomach for my weight. I don't say anything to the women, BTW!

I cannot stand the depressing sight of my scale not moving. I've had it. I know Simeon said the apple day is for mental support only. Well, I need mental support!

That mini-goal of 163 is just not happening.

Aw, Spedie, hang in there!! Perhaps the apple day will do you a lot of good! I even resorted to a mini high protein day at the end of my R2, that round totally sucked. But, in hindsight I think it gave me a false low weight going into R2P3, I sprang back up within a few days You could also try a detox bath, I've had good luck with them this round. I've done two, and each time after doing them I have a half pound or so loss, then things move for a couple days at least. I use 1 c Epsom Salts, 1 c Baking Soda, in hot hot bath water and just soak. You'll break into a heck of a sweat, too. Then limit drinks the rest of the evening. You can also add ground fresh ginger, that's supposed to help the process as well. One time I used the stupid powdered ginger - what a freaking mess! Won't ever do THAT again!!

Jeri, I bought my unflavored Jay Robb off ebay, actually. I know Vitamin Shoppe carries multiple flavors if you have any around you - GNC definately does not carry the Jay Robb brand, though. And, ebay was cheaper than Amazon, JayRobb.com, or Vitacost (all three have it). It took all of two days to receive, so no issue with a prolonged shipping time. It comes in 12 oz and 24 oz sizes, I just got the 12 oz to try it. I definately think I'll stick with that from now on, not the flavored - gives a lot more flexibility to what you can do with it.

Thanks Blue. I've been quiet the last couple of days on this thread because I was so disgusted with my pace. A piece, or two of good news: I am loosing inches. I just got on my new size 6 boys style underwear. They are not tight in the hips anymore. And, just for the fun of it, I put on my "size 12 skinny jeans". You know those pair of jeans you'd thought you'd never get in to again? I got them up, got them buttoned and zipped. Too much muffin top to wear to the store to buy my apples, though. I remember, not too long ago, in R1P2 (with you and others) the same thing happened with my size 16's.

I swear my stomach bulges above the belly button, then dips inward at the belly button, then takes another bulge out below the belly button. Beforehand, it was all filled with fat!

I am sitting here munching on my first apple for today. I usually only eat 4 of them in a day when I do this. I think I did one or two apple days in R1 and had good results.

I thought for sure I was going to see movement in the scale today and didn't. I spent half the day in the bathroom. Urinated all day it seems. And I am NOT having a problem with BM's this round. I think the apples help with that as they have more fiber than strawberries and grapefruit.

I had been poking around on other threads looking for folks I who catalog their daily losses and I found several that showed the same pattern that alot of of us r seeing, that is, of course big losses on week 1, smaller losses in week 2, very small losses in week 3, but then there were pickups in losses on week 4 for those that went that long. So, I think my losses were pretty average (even with 0s or gains), and I would liked to have seen week 4 be an improvement. But not with hunger, that makes it just not quite worth it.

For p3, we intend to just add in eggs and cheese right away, as we had a great experience with them in R1. Not trying paleo or the leptin reset. We try to get as close to normal as possible, as fast as possible. In part due to family pressure to 'stop that stupid crazy starvation diet' that they dont quite understand, part due to us just wanting to be normal again. We miss family functions, getting together with friends, those types of entertainment activities.
I'm so proud of you for sticking through as many days as you did. I agree with your decision, especially if you're constantly hungry... My husband is in P4 now and he refuses to eat "REAL" food as I call it. He's still eating P2 foods just larger portions. I can't wait to get cheese back in my diet! lol Good luck!!!

Glad to see that things are starting to look up for some of us.

    Spedie - Woo hoo!!

AFM, I went back on my word again and checked the scale!! Surprisingly, I was down another 1.6... I have no idea what's going on but I'm in love with it. My dr appt is this Saturday, dare I believe I might be able to make it to 150??? 4 pounds in 4 days? hmmmm... Feeling a tad bit hopeful... Still have 9 days to lose. I'm just worried about P3. I'm terrified that I'm going to overdose on cheese.

Enjoy the rest of your day lovely losers!!!!

Butterfly, I don't find cheese to be my problem in P3 - it's dang full fat FAGE!! Once I start on it, I just can't stop - LOVE it with sweetener and cinnamon, ate it every day. BUT - given the issues of my last P3, I'm forcing myself to hold off on it when I get there <sigh> I think that's another reason I decided to follow Leptin - it limits dairy which will automatically limit my FAGE consumption. Yeah, I play mind games with myself all the time.

You're doing EXCELLENT by the way!! Keep on doing just what you're doing, it's obviously working for you

Hey guys! Glad to see so many doing well - congrats for those posting losses!

I'm over my temper tantrum now, lol. Skipped my doses today and I'm feeling less hunger than I had been for the past few days. Maybe that, coupled with lack of "movement" was my problem. We'll see how things are in the a.m. If I post a loss, I may pick back up on doses and extend the round. Tomorrow is VLCD 40. If I see a loss in the morning, it'll be worth it to keep trying to reach goal. I really don't feel that another round is appropriate for 5 more lbs.

    Have a great night all!
    Jen

OH, meant to say I reduced my dose from 150 IU to 125 IU three days ago - I've almost lost more right now than all of last week I'd been having a bit of hunger in the afternoon, now I don't. I typically use 150 IU as my starting point each round, so reducing from there doesn't surprise me. Wow, Jen, Day 40 - you're definately hanging tough!! Here's hoping the scale does what YOU want it to in the morning!!

Got the cable at the ranch straightened out - the cable company FINALLY sent a technician out, he referred it to their construction group. That guy was there yesterday - they have to run a feeder through the woods and around a pond then to the house - WOW. But, we won't have any financial responsibility at all, so we're totally great now.

I finally have a loss. I had my apple day. I only ate 3 apples.

I am down 1.8 to 166.2 lbs. I am back in new territory.

I am hopeful the loss sticks. I suppose I will find out tomorrow! Today I will stick with shrimp and fish and see if that helps.
