    Hello there everyone. I just had my last weigh in before I leave for Louisville. I have been at 168.4 lbs ever since my steak day. My body seems to want to stick at that weight. That means a total loss of 9.8 lbs (plus the load weight) for my semi-failed R2.

    I am eating my eggs, my healthy fats, drinking my water and staying away from sugar and all things gluten related. I am eating no rice or anything not allowed in P3. I still haven't added back cheese, simply because I am leaving for an out of town trip and don't want to just leave it sitting in the fridge. Eggs, so far, are my friend.

    I supposed 9.8 lbs isn't so bad, in the long range look of things. I lost nearly 10 lbs in 5 weeks and it seems it is going to stick. I am going to wait a good 3 weeks and try cycling. If I my losses are adequate, I will then consider a short round. If I get to the point where the short round is doing OK (my goals are low, but can't stand 10 day stall, 1.5 lb loss, followed by another 10+ day stall), then I will consider a longer round.

    Spedie, not the best round or you but it certainly is a great shift down and you're right, you're maintaining! I bet you stabilize just fine. Maybe you'll wait for me till after I get back from vacation and we do a round together!

    Jen, I feel your pain but I do know why I'm on a roller coaster ride. I think I'm fine with the pork. No plain water yesterday, quest bar at 1am, 5 hours sleep. Not a winning combination. I hope your steak day does the trick.

    Last10: I look at your weight loss ticker and I am highly impressed! 107.8 lbs is impressive to say the least.

    When do you start your next round? It would be neat if we do it together. I do not yet know what day I will start. My secret goal is to be 157 or less the next time I go to the doctor - and that weight of 157 will be at 1:30PM that day, with my clothes on, on the doctors scale. That way, he won't look at me like I haven't been trying. The doctor appointment is October 17th. Certainly I can achieve that? I am currently 168.4 lbs.

    The last time at the doctors I weighed 179.0.

    I am back from Africa/Amsterdam on Sept 12th. I think I may try injections this round so will need to order them before I can start.

    You can make your goal and impress your doctor! Not sure how our timing would work with that unless I do drops again.

    Happy Sunday everyone! Spedie, it's great to hear from you!! It sounds like you're doing very well so far in P3, that's excellent!!

    Last, you seem to be stabilizing pretty well looking at your weights - they're all right there together which is great.

    Jen, maybe it's not what you ate yesterday but the day before? Grammy often says it can take two days for a reaction to show up.

    AFM, Day 1 of P3, .2# under LIW at 130#. Not hardly a cushion at all, darn it!! But, I'll take what I can get. Had my beef and eggs this morning, then an apple mid-day. Packing and moving all afternoon, now heading to Chinese buffet. Just had a couple more small pieces of beef w/Duke's - I felt SO empty!! Also sipping on an afternoon cup of coffee with cream, I feel positively naughty right now!

    well I did have a 1 lb gain from yesterday, fixed the swimming pool filter and decided to take alittle dip in the pool but all day at the hospital and no sleep, not enough fluids. Everyone wanted to go for celebration dinner they wanted Pizza but I talked them into Sizzler's, but I thought I did really well just had salad but I went over my calorie intake. I guess it wasn't such a good idea for me to eat out yet, cause I got the bad end of the deal, $100 in debt and 1 pound again, so I got bit in the *** trying to be good, so Im gonna be a hermit the rest of the round and stay at home in a controlled environment. Today is my skip day and will have a steak day, if it don't work, tomorrow a apple day. I would like to start week 3 with a good loss, finger's crossed.

    I am just now pulling out of the driveway to head for Louisville.

    Weight this morning: 164.6! I am losing weight on P3. I am not trying. This is a new weight for me, in new territory.

    Well, on the road I go!!

    Spedie, That is awesome! Way to go!

    Jen - I am hoping the scale is better on you today. Let us know what you ate to correct yesterday.

    AFM - Staying 176 on the dot for the last five days. Not sure if I am doing things right or if my body is just being friendly. Either way, I will take it! Yesterday I added mixed nuts and hard salami. Thus far I have added in bacon, pork, nuts, salami, butters, peppers, little dressing and that is about it. So now that I see the list, not too much. I am going to be having the nuts and salami today but also making a mixed salad with feta, bacon, lettuce, brocc, onion, tomato, and ranch. Yes, ranch with 2 carbs. I am not worried, if I gain, it will be water and I will deal with it. Some have it with no issues. I shall see.

    Good luck everyone. Are any of you still on P2?

    Spedie...congrats on starting out well on P3. I'm sure that is encouraging. P3 is always a nice treat after VLCD. I've got 9 more days on P3 and will tiptoe into P4 so as to not rock the boat and get my food choices in check. I do better eating starches moderately on the morning without major issues. I get in Trouble if I try to add junk food like chips or crackers which aren't healthy anyway. Keep us posted on your journey!!

    Sorry that I have been absent, just a busy weekend up at the trailer with little time to log in and my iPad was not wanting to connect when I did try.

    Jen, sorry to hear you are struggling. I would love to hear what you think of Fage days too, as I love Fage and if I needed to come down, that would be easy for me. But I like steak days too in general and know that when I am super busy all day (for life in general) that I will plan on eating a large dose of steak when I get home from work and that will be good. Your lemon custard type flavor sounds good. How do you make your eggs for a deviled eggs?
    I would love more info about what you guys do to your Fage to enjoy the taste more!!!

    Spedie, just thinking of you as you transition on your trip. Yeah being down this morning when you left!! I remember losing in P3 on my last round. By the end of P3 it was 3 lbs total. Safe travels and I hope you have a great trip.

    Blue, how exciting that your move is almost done as of today!! Thanks for your info on a FFF day. I am going to have to go to Costco to try the Saigon cinnamon!! How much FFF do you eat? Good for you for sticking to P3 despite all the yummy things at the bbq.

    Bmathis, congrats on having such staying under LDW!! Sounds like you are getting a lot of things added and stabilizing well!

    Stacylou, glad to hear you are stabilizing so well!!! What kind of hot dogs did you find without sugar?? Sometimes I need a quick go to food that has protein but most of the ones I have seen have sugar in them. Thanks.

    Niane, congrats on losing another .4, I am thinking that 1 lb gain was from all you were going through the last few days!! Stress is not our friend whenit comes to weight loss.

    Last10, I think I read another thread where you talked about Quest bars, what exactly are they and where do you find them? I agree with Spedie, 107.8 is huge, you have to feel awesome about that!!! When do you leave for your trip, is it getting close?

    AFM, one thing I read on the board was a thread on L-carnitine and probiotics to help in P3, I can't remember exactly what it said, but I think the L-carnitine was supposed to help as you added carbs. I have already purchased them and will add them as soon as I hit P3. It is so hard when we don’t lose or even worse gain from foods we ate exactly the same previously, I feel your pain ladies!! Last night after a weekend of not eating a lot much, I needed something with flavor, so I took my strawberries, a little bit of crushed ice, sprinkled in some cinnamon and added 6 drops of vanilla cream stevia, it was good.
    I am down -2.6 from Friday mornings weigh, I weighed each day, but forgot to put Sunday’s on myfitnesspal and can’t remember it. I am .2 away from losing a total of 50lbs since January and am so excited about that!!!

    Well I better get busy with work, I hope you all have awesome losses and even better stabilization!!!

    Happy Monday! Today was back up .2 to 132 again. Darn this weekend got me all discombobulated. Hoping to get back on track this week, our last 8 days on p3.

    We are getting tired of the cooking and cleaning every day tho. Our lovely house now stinks with the lingering odors of cooked meats and veggies. Will be SO glad to be stabilized and somewhat back to normal.

    Jeri, we just bought plain old hot dogs from the store, and yes, they have trace sugars way down in the ingredient list. It's not too much of a gain for us to eat those once or twice a week. It's just a good flavor to break up the monotony.
