Well, I did it again....I ate dinner then suddenly realized I had forgotten to take my drops! ERR!!! But I guess it was okay since I woke to a WHOPPING 1.6 loss. I thought my scale was acting up, because even on R1, I NEVER lost that much at one time!

    Yamy - Enjoy Disney!!

How is everyone else doing today??

    Good morning,

Such great losses!! Woo Hoo for everyone!!! Since I've been off the hhcg drops, I've been having headaches. Not major migraines, but a definite presence. I remember when I started I had them too. Other than that, a little bit of extra hunger, but I'm managing. Today is my 3rd day without drops and I'm starting p3 tomorrow. I'm using My Fitness Pal app and trying to add in the foods I plan to eat tomorrow. I have to go shopping tonight to get a better handle on my food log. I love the scanner, so cool!

I went out with my teacher friends the other night, haven't seen most of them since school let out in June. I started the diet June 13, so they had no idea that I was losing weight and how quickly I was losing. I was sitting already when they all got there, but when we got up to leave they couldn't believe it! The looks and the comments made me feel so good!

Hope everyone has a great weekend! Have fun in Disney Yamy. It's freakin' hot down here! Wear lots of sunscreen and drink lots of water!

    Hi Ladies!

Had another great visit from the pound fairy...dropped 1.2 this morning! Flying to Los Angeles this evening (with my daughter and my drops), so I won't be able to post for a few days. At least Los Angeles is in the 80's compared to these 100+ temps in TX!

Crissy - I had headaches a day or two after stopping the drops as well. It's all due to adjustment. Doesn't it feel great when others notice your losses?

Hope everyone has a great day! See ya'll again in a few days!

Koala, have a great trip! And yes, it feels great when people notice. The headaches have stopped, I knew it was from the drops. Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. I'm making through day 1 of p3. I had a yummy omelet with mushrooms, tomatoes and a small amount of cheese, with a slice of sugar free bacon. Yum!! And I was stuffed! After lunch, I still have about 600 calories left for the days. We're going out for dinner tonight, so I planned for that.

Thank you! Day 1 of P3 I added butter. Day 2 was bacon in an omelet, yummers. Day 3 was Almond butter on my celery sticks. I also decided to cut out fruit and my well loved Melba Toast for the first week. So far so good. I've fluctuated gaining or losing .2lb a day, but I am still within the 2lb limit. I am so use to getting mad at myself for gaining. I have to remind myself that I am in p3 now, and 2lbs is the number I need to watch for.
I just got home from camping this weekend, and i opted not to bring my scale. I hope the numbers will be okay tomorrow morning. Hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend!

    Hi everyone!

I found the yummiest recipe online for p3 biscuits! They are delish and I thought I would pass it on to you. They're even kid approved. They're about 129 calories and no sugar. I use coconut oil instead of butter. Enjoy

    Coconut Flour Cheddar Drop Biscuits
¼ cup coconut oil or butter, melted
    1/3 cup sifted coconut flour
    4 eggs
    ¼ teaspoon salt
    ¼ teaspoon onion powder
    ¼ teaspoon baking powder
½ cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Blend together eggs, coconut oil or butter, salt, and onion powder. Combine coconut flour with baking powder and whisk into batter until there are no lumps. Fold in cheese. Drop batter by the spoonful onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. For a cheesier biscuit increase cheese to ¾ cup.
This recipe makes about 10 biscuits.

Finally!! Reached my goal for this round and am heading into P3 I'm so ready for some P3 foods too. A total of 40 pounds is wonderful, but I still remember I have a long way to go. I've discovered a few things on this round that I want to share. Don't know if this will be the same for everyone else, but found out this for myself. I went on a verrrry long round this time, and it wasn't worth it. Today was the start of day 44 of the VLCD and that is way too long. I've really struggled on this round too, much more than on my first round. So I know this -- You really need to go off of P2 for longer than 2 weeks (which is what I did). Yes, I stabilized very well, but started back soon for DS. I don't think my body had time to adjust and that's why this round was so slow in losing. First round I dropped 24 pounds, and this round was a real struggle to get off the load weight and a total of 20. 43 days is way too long to go without other foods. I found myself cheating way too much and just wanting other foods. Looking back over my calendar, my best loss weighs were in the first 3 to 4 weeks. So, I will be heading to P3 on Friday, which means I stop my pellets today (had them this morning first thing) so I will not have any more the rest of the day. My HHCG says I only have to go 48 hrs, but will do a little longer to be safe. Friday I will get to have my breakfast!! I plan on going to P3 for at least 3 weeks, then P4 for at least 3 weeks. I plan on going back on the HCG around the first to middle part of October. I'm fairly certain, I'll just be on it then for a max of 30 days or so. Want to be on P4 by Thanksgiving, then will not start back up again till January 1st!. Like I said previously, I have a lot more weight to lose, but have decided I'd be best to take it slow and let my body adjust. I will continue to check back here as I still need the support I've received from all my friends here and I want to continue to see everyone's progress! BTW, DS also reached a goal of 25 pounds this round. He too has a lot more to lose, but he follows along with me and will go back on again in October

Going dress shopping for DD upcoming wedding in a few days. So happy to be looking for a size 18 instead of a 22. Also, finally bought a new dress to wear to DD first bridal shower this past Sunday. When dressed with my heels on, my hubby gave me the best compliment in years!! He said "you're looking hot!" Now that's to a chubby, white haired woman he's been married to for almost 36 years. Can I say that I felt just wonderful!!!

    Slow but sure!

Peggy - that's awesome. And it's because you ARE hot. You just have to feel it. You're two whole dress sizes down which is amazing! Best of luck to you stabilizing and thanks for the tips!

Well, I returned yesterday afternoon from my short trip to Los Angeles. Got the hcg through security with no problems, although they looked at it....While there, I ate close to protocol having salads, etc. but hubby took us to this mexican food place called Casa Gaminos and I ended up getting the largest burrito ever and ate the entire thing. Those of you from CA will probably know the place I'm talking about! Anyways, then returning home yesterday, my daughter and I went to Cici's Pizza and I put away about 7 slices, then to the ice cream place and downed a banana split. I woke to only a .2 gain from what I weighed when I left, and I was SO totally shocked!

It was in the 80's there with just beautiful weather! Even sat out at the hotel pool for 2 hours and got a tad bit sunburned. I didn't want to come back to Texas! Got off the plane and it was 107 at 4pm. YUCK!

Peggy - You've done an awesome job! WTG!!

Crissy - I love cooking with coconut oil...discovered it while in P3, but now I use just a weee bit of it to cook my tilapia in on P2. Works great!

Hope everyone is having a fabulous hump day!

Happy Hump Day!! I'm so excited, I'm about to pick up my oldest and dearest friend of 35 years in a little bit. It's our 20th high school reunion this weekend, so let the fun start!!

Koala, sounds like a great trip! So jealous of the weather. It's blazing here in South Florida, and we're keeping our fingers crossed that Emily doesn't change from a tropical storm and stays away!! Phase 3 has been great for me. I'm down a little from my last vlcd day. I'm having a hard time getting in the 1200 calories, I'm just not that hungry. But the food choices are super - Greek yogurt, yummy omelets, sugar free bacon, portabella mushroom pizzas, yummmmmm!! Okay, I'm still stuffed from lunch, but those who aren't on p3 yet, it's been fine, no worries.

I hope everyone has a great Wednesday! I'm off to the airport!

    - kinda strange, every time I update my ticker for a new post, it changes my weight on my older posts??

It was about 109 here at dinner time and I didn't want to stand in the kitchen, so, last night I cheated again and ate Chinese...only a take out quart of Chicken Lo Mein. It had very little chicken, but it was SO good! Picked up .2 lbs from it. And to top it off, I was about a quarter through it when I realized I had forgotten to take my drops! So, I took the drops, and dug right back in.

Crissy - Enjoy your reunion! And yeah, my ticker changes on all my previous posts as well. Guess that's how it works.
