For me, I several food sensitivities and when I ignore them and suffer the consequence, I also gain weight. I am also guilty of throwing reason out the door after 9 PM and a few glasses of wine, then attacking forbidden foods. Gotta get my arms around that one.

So, the plan is to lose about 15 lbs, then tackle some bad habits I have. Here we go!
Welcome back Book! Wine darn it, is such a tasty culprit. (sigh) Anyway, glad to have you here. This group is really great.

Hey Ash! Glad you are here. This group is indeed supportive. I just blended up some frozen strawberries with stevia and lemon juice with the idea of summer popsicles in mind!

Yes Britney! But somehow a taste, turns into gone at my house. Haha.

Stacy that sounds great! My last round was in the winter so I had no desire for frozen treats but that sounds great! I'll have to try it when I feel the urge.

Well I hit my first gain today, up .4! Probably from too much salt. I can't really complain though after 1 and a half pound drop yesterday.

Oh and I do the strawberry drink all the time! It really help when I need a "dessert"

    Thanks for the nice welcome.

Day one of loading and I have some stuff cooking in the oven, but I had nothing prepared, so it's 11:00 AM and I have not eaten yet. Oh well, I have a plan and I'll get lots of fat in.

How about a question of the day? A get to know you thing.

    1) What do you love about HCG
    2) What do you dislike about HCG
    3) Are you going to be POP or rouge?

Nice questions and happy loading Book! I like that HCG is quick and simple. I dislike how sensitive it is to error. I am a bit rogue. I eat vegan meals and coconut oil, though I have some POP days.

I'll go first! Or second! Stacey beat me too it! Oh, I agree-it's so sensitive to error!

    1) What do you love about HCG
I love how I lose weight! lol! But, I also love the motivation it comes with to make changes in my habits.

    2) What do you dislike about HCG
I dislike some of the tummy problems that can show up with me. I also get bored eating the same foods. I dislike how some people IRL can be so violently against it.

    3) Are you going to be POP or rouge?
For this first time, I will be rouge. I must admit, in the past, I have gotten irritated with rouge HCG'ers. Now I'm trying it!

    Here's mine:

    1. I love finding out that I have a wheat allergy!! Before HCG I was heavy doing cardio and weight training for each an hour a day. I couldn't lose weight! Now I'm very careful with my food choices... Who needs rice or graham crackers anyway? I love the weight loss and the ability to stay in range.

    2. I get bored eating the same thing every day and not eating the same thing as my family. I don't like the scrutiny that sometimes comes with the diet.

    3. Rogue. I tried pop the first time around and i ended up eventually adding things to my diet that did not negatively effect me. I love gum, and I cook with coconut oil. I DO appreciate rouge as long as it is pointed out that it is so.

    Great questions!

    Great questions!

    My answers:

    1. I love that the weight comes off so fast. Really helps me stick to the diet. I also like that I'm losing fat, not muscle and the right kind of fat!

    2. I dislike when celebrations and functions come up while I'm in vlcd P2, and I can't eat anything. It's just awkward sometimes.

    3. I'll be a bit rogue. Thanks to the clinic I went through for my first round, I was a bit rogue and didn't know it until I was at least a week in to my vlcd. My weight loss was great, so I'll try that again!

Britney, I saw your post in a different forum. Not only do I use coconut oil to cook, I also use it in my hair. It is the main reason why I was rouge the second half of R1. It's up to you, but it didn't not make a difference weight-wise for me. I use a pea size every few days as a moisturizer and a teaspoon as a deep conditioner. I stabilized well and maintained my weight.

thank you!!! I'm definitely trying! Just a small bump in the road!

    1) what I love about hcg, is it works!!! Also how it can really teach you to be aware of what you are eating, and if you follow the phases correctly....you will learn what your body is sensitive to! I think it's amaZing!

    2) What I hate is the stupid looks I get every time I bring my food somewhere or if I'm forced to eat somewhere I hate having to ask a million questions about the food and attracting more attention when I'm asking for them to take everything off! Lol

    3) I was originally pop but eventually went rogue on a few things...not usually too crazy though.

Thanks! I thought about just going ahead and conditioning as usual, I fell in love with all the benefits of coconut oil....especially for my hair. Lol barely anyone responded. I think because it's rogue.
