Just had to say Deborah this is hysterical. "Angry Beavers Looking To Score" -- oh my god.
I'll cross post too. Glad to hear the scale gods are with us all. I must have had IDEAL foot placement and the earth was on the proper tilt axis for less gravity on my selected bathroom tile as I got a negative 2.5 today. Holy heck! I'm praying it holds and will be more understanding of evil scale if he prefers to work in stair step fashion verses slow and steady decline. Perhaps that's how my bod rolls! Anyways I almost took a photo for my phone home screen but I think I will save that bit for 140 something and we are still a bit a way from there.
Auntie Dee I'm glad you opted to mix up a new batch. I've heard it does lose potency and although I know it's pricey I'd rather use it while its "strong" and can combat the hunger than be miserable and potentially bail. With new "juice" your hunger pangs should be banished and you can power thru 40+++ days to hit that mark if you wish.
Well off to work and REMEMBERING my lunch today Hugs to all!!!!

Same! I'm an MSW student so while I'm at my internship (which is half the week) it's pretty tricky. this is my first round doing pellets, always did drops, so agreed that they are less of a pain than drops. Still a pain though!

Thanks for the Ringette lesson.... sounds fun, but your team name sounds even more FUN! Even excercise can be fun surrounded by the right people, and it sounds like your team has a rockin' sense of humor! Thanks also for the shrimp recipe, I've been heating up my "pre-cooked" shrimp (<--bought for convenience) and ended up overcooking them into little rubbery crescents. Haven't ever been a cold shrimp fan, but need to mix it up a bit and will work it into the rotation. Looking forward to Auntie Dee's dinner this evening of chicken and asparagus soup and saving my last cruette of baked apple/stevia/cinnamon combo.
Like Matthew... my cupboard/frig is down to the nitty gritty... time to shop/cook/and get set up for success for next week.
Cheers team!
145 is my high goal. Ideal goal would be another 10 lbs but that's wishful thinking and never going to happen lol my body seems to reject staying at anything under 145. I'm 148 atm

You are doing much better than I am. I am 27 lbs from where I want to be. I am willing to live with losing another 17 lbs though.
If I get far enough in this phase I will stop and not do another round. If I don't, then I'll stop till the new year and then do one last round. I just feel like if I get close enough then I shouldn't need another round. Congratulations though talkinlikeateen... it sounds like you have had quite a journey and you are almost done!
you have done a super job so far and I also am so very hard on myself - we have to take a deep breath every now and then - I really do think the more we fret the harder we make it on ourselves (i.e. I know I make it harder on me! :-/ understand!)
Hang in there and thanks for the good advice - I do not know much about any type of coconut oil or paleo foods - I am looking for choices and right now since I am new to this - all the guidance I can get to try and pull this off :-)
Best! Hope to stay in touch!
congrats to you both - that is great work and learning first hand how tough this can be - I am curious about the pellets? I know they are a pain, but wonder if they are a good alternative if you are doing multiple rounds - I am only on R1 - going 40 days - and then will take a break, but still trying to understand how long I need to "brake" for - open to any advice - thanks!!!
:-)
Just thought I would respond to renee's question. I went out and did a search on this site and boy, are there a lot of differing approaches. Evidently some doctors who administer the diet have their own ideas as to what is safe to do.
I just wanted to quote from the Pounds & Inches manuscript (http://hcgdietinfo.com/hCG-Diet-Manu...and-Inches.htm) so you can see what The Master said about itI believe it is also gospel that you must always take 3 weeks in P3 to do some magical reset. Someone here may have better info.
I'm on my first round too renee, and it has been a challenge to figure out what works for me. As far as I can tell, my body is completely whimsical. EIther that or I am allergic to everything on the diet. WHo knows. But I intend to do as he prescribed for my first go round. Seems your body needs to a lot of housekeeping after being on the protocol and you stand a better chance of stabilizing and not gaining back if you do what he says.Further Courses
Patients requiring the loss of more than 34 lbs. must have a second or even more courses. A second course can be started after an interval of not less than six weeks, though the pause can be more than six weeks. When a third, fourth or even fifth course is necessary, the interval between courses should be made progressively longer. Between a second and third course eight weeks should elapse, between a third and fourth course twelve weeks, between a fourth and fifth course twenty weeks and between a fifth and sixth course six months. In this way it is possible to bring about a weight reduction of 100 lbs. and more if required without the least hardship to the patient.
My 2¢ ... thankfully everyone here as been great at sharing their experiences!
My last two rounds have been clean up lol my actual journey was over the course of about 9 months, so three rounds. But it definitely was a journey! I feel like it's never going to end! Congrats to you on your losses and YOUR journey!
