Leez: Question re Roller Coaster P2. Please Help

    HI Leez,

I am so sorry to bother you but I am not sure what to do. I have been on a stress/lack of sleep roller coaster here in P2. I had a big thing happen where my 91 year old Dad went into the hospital with aspiration Pneumonia. They gave him too much tranquilizer and pain meds that his kidneys suddenly could not clear and for 5 days he was delusional and confused. Now he is weak but on the mend. Thank goodness and back to being sane.

I was staying in P2 and was totally POP. I am bringing my own food in a cooler bag so I know the 3 pound gain I could not shake for a week was not food related. SO surprised that I went UP 3 pounds but then finally dropped 2 pounds yesterday and .5 pounds today. Still not back to where I was. Now it is Friday and I am very close to my goal. .4 pounds away.(My goal could be 4 pounds lower, at least, but this is ok). I was planning to stay on P2 throughout the weekend, because weekends are hard for me anyway. Then transition on Monday. I thought this would give me a few days to stabilize and if I drop any more good. What do you think of that plan?

Thanks and hope you are doing great.
    Happy Valentines Day

The gain sounds like it is stress related, and has dissipated as you have begun to relax.

Your plan sounds fine. It appears that the scale is on a downward trend, and you may as well take advantage of that for a couple more days. I would expect you would drop a little more by then. Maybe treat yourself to an epsom salts bath soak before bed tonight to help relax even more.

You did an amazing job staying on protocol through out your family crisis. I'm glad that things are resolving now. A couple more days on P2 should be easy by comparison to the last week ( as long as you are not having any hunger issues).

Doing fine here, and enjoying a sunny Valentines Day.

    HI Leez,

    Results:
I just wanted to update you. So excited to report that I lost 30 pounds. I am really looking good and now at P3 D2. Thank you again for all your help with this wonky and tough round. Wonky with the interruptions and family crises. Nervous about P3, but am going to be super strict and careful.

I was not sure where to post this...

Hope you are well and thank you so much for all your help and support during P2.
    Onward ha ha.

    Warmly,
    RK

Awesome result! I'm so happy for you. We all dream of getting the max allowed loss on a round, but a lot of us never even get close. You did.

P3 is a celebration anyway, but even more so when you have come so far. I hope you are enjoying every minute of it!
