    Well according to myfitnesspal.com, I am only eating about 400 calories a day. I eat lettuce, protein, and apples slices or strawberries. I don't know where to get the other 100 calories I need daily. Any help would be apppreciated. I don't eat the breadsticks I am allowed. That might explain why my wieght loss has slowed.

    when i don't get all the cal's i need i add extra protein. the fruit adds too much sugar and protein aids in weight loss! i just have more than the 3.5 ounces of protein. i also sometimes have a whey protein shake, but i know some are sensitive to whey, so just a work of caution there!

    hey alaska girl - hang in there! sounds like lots of peeps struggle in round 2 - i certainly did! and round 3 now is hard too. so just set your mind to round 2 working, since round 3 isn't much easier. with this pattern of so many struggling with cravings, etc. in subsequent rounds i'm thinking that since we all have had a pretty successful first round, we know what we can get out of the next round(s) and think it should be the same as round 1, but when it's not, it's so easy to get discouraged. much more of a mental game after round 1... just know you're sooooo not alone! and at the end of the day, you're healthier than when you started and have still achieved great results so be proud of that! it's easy to get stuck on a number and what we think our number on the scale should be just may not be what our bodies are ready for.

    alaska_girl I am day 23 also and have not had the losses I did in the first round and have found this round to be way harder and have had mad cravings and been hungrier then last round. I am not stopping until I at least do 30 days and may even go longer depending on where I am goal wise and how I am feeling. I have been having stalls and gains this last week and have not cheated 1 single time, so frustrating!

    rainpebble29 If you need more calories to get your 500 calories in you can add in more protein or more vegi's. I usually calculate what my protein and fruit is for the day and then add in vegi's to make up the 500 calories. Last round I did 4 oz of protein per meal and am thinking of going back to that since I seemed to have better losses last round then this round.

    AFM - I finally had a loss this morning after 2 days of gains for no reason! Not a huge loss but I will take it and hopefully will continue to have more losses these next couple of weeks. Feeling backed up today so a little SM tea tonight and maybe a detox bath tomorrow night to help release the tension and ache in my back, shoulders and neck.

    Well, my bf just surprised me with a trip to Vegas. Uh Oh. This is like a flashback because I went to Vegas after my first round and I was on P3 and it was awful. I gained 9 pounds. UGH.
    Anyway, now I'm in quite a dilemma because I wanted to stay on this a while longer and try to drop the last few pounds to move the clunker down a notch. My ticket to Vegas is 10/23 which means if I stopped the VLCD on the 29th, I'd have three weeks of P3 and be on P4 for only three days before going. I guess that's better than being in P3 there because there is NOTHING on the strip that is P3 friendly...wait, there's water....and that's about it!

    I had a mental talk with myself today and decided that I shouldn't kick myself so much because I have lost 15lbs in 23 days and that's awesome! If nothing else, it was the jumpstart I needed to start exercising more and being healthy.

    Hope everyone wakes up to a loss in the morning....I'm going to sleep with my fingers crossed. :-)

    So no change today and I finally realized why I am having such issues this week and kicking myself for not thinking of it sooner! I have been staying at the BF's house all week and we eat dinner at around 8pm and then go right to bed since we have to get up at 3am for work! DUH....eating and goign straight to bed is liek the worst thing you can do to yurself! So no more waiting for the BF to get home to eat I will be eating without him so I can make sureI have at least 2 hours between dinner and bed time! I'm up at 3am and to work by 5:30am, not home till around 5pm(I work 10 hr days) and then to bed no later then 8:30pm so it makes it really hard to eat early and still have a few hours before going to bed.

    I hope everyone wakes up to great losses today!

    Did SM tea yesterday, ate dinner by 5:30pm, took a detox bath and was able to get 7 hours of sleep and only got .4 of a loss this morning. Don't get me wrong I am grateful to see a loss this morning but was really expecting it to be bigger after the crappy week of gains/stalls I have had.

    I am so hoping the weekend treats me better and I have some better losses!

    Hi everyone_ lost 1.2# today vlcd28, I figure I will do P3, when I reach 34# or 40 vlcd. I should be able to lose 8.4# by my forty day, which is Oct.7th. Can't wait to see what my Doctor says, when he sees me. I told him once before I would lose 30 #s, and I didn't, but the last time I saw him was 3months ago. I told him I would this time, won't he be surprised.
