Thread: Loading Day 1 Saturday June 8 - anyone want to be my buddy?

    Gael, thats amazing! Did you lose anything in your 2 vlcd's before P3 (or did you do 3? I dont remember if you were rx or hhcg)? I stayed the same this morning and i only have a few hours left before my 48 hours are up. I am a little scared of not having a cushion. I ususally lose 1 or 2 more. I cant believe that you have been able to add all that back. I am thinking of first adding eggs (although i know i am ok with eggs because i have had them from time to time on P2) and heavy cream, then wait 3 days and start adding cottage cheese and dairy, and wiat 3 days and then add nuts. I am afraid since last round i did not stabilize well. I was also put on thyroid meds and i switched meds all while trying to stabilize so i think thats what hurt me. I hope i can stabilize now!

    Jackie1212 - I did 3 days - on rx I did drop a few pounds but have leveled out so far just below LIW - you an do it!! I ate cottage cheese and eggs as my protein throughout p2 and seem to be okay with it - I needed fats and mac nuts fit the bill!! I guess I will know tomorrow as it'll be my 4th day? I just make sure I keep drinking my water and have been having a large salad with protein for dinner and a small bowl of berries with HWC for dessert - everything else is early on in the day....I am hoping to stabilize too!!!!

    Me... well... flirting at the same weight the past 5 days, give or take a few ounces, but today I lost a full pound! Finally! I think TOM is coming within the week, because I am very tender.

    I am so looking forward to P3. I even bought a Vita-Mix recipe book yesterday from an online garage sale for $1.

    So... questions... I read P3 is a lot like Atkins induction, just monitoring the scale everyday to stay in that 2 pound range. Then, P4 we can eat anything, again monitoring the scale?

    How are you all doing on P3? I want to know how you're doing stabilizing and what you're eating. I am so looking forward to expanding my menu choices!!! Less than a week from now...

    Good morning! I am not doing so well on P3. I am 1.8 above LDW!!!!!! I started P3 on Saturday! I am hoping its just water. Yesterday I had coffee with hwc and cottage cheese with 4 strawberries for breakfast, chicken salad with sugar free mayo on lettuce for lunch and chicken quarters baked in the oven with olive oil, spices and lemon, roasted eggplant and sauteed mushrooms for dinner. Today I am trying a high protein day rto see if i can avoid a steak day. Not a good start to P3!!!!! Day 1 of P3 I had 3 fried eggs for breakfast and a latee (I had eggs in P2 so i figured i didnt have to clear them so i have been working on clearing dairy), a few pork rinds and cottage cheese and strawberries as a snack and steak and steamed veggies for dinner. I was ok yesterday. I have no idea what made me jump yesterday! I think its definately water retention. grrrrrrr. I was so good too! No eating out yesterrday so i know i had no sugar or starches. Oh, i also had some cocoa crack after dinner because i was craving something sweet. Maybe it was the cocoa crack. Maybe it was a little bit of white wine that i used in my sauteed mushrooms???? Sooo frustratinG!

    Jackie... how did the high protein day go for you? It appears you're still eating well.

    This morning was my last injection! Yea! I am really looking forward to having cheese! What did you mean by clearing dairy? I need to read up on P3 in the next few days, because Saturday I start! So, I record my weight as of this morning as the weight I need to maintain, yes? Did you all increase your calories to 2000? After eating only 500, 2000 is going to seem like a feast! I am sure the avocado, oil, almonds, and cheese bring numbers up pretty fast.

    Hi Camp Girl! Sorry, I hadnt looked at this in a while. Yes, the weight you record is your weight on the day you take your last injection or shot. Then you do 72 hours of vlcd if using rx and 48 if using drops. Then you start p3. I feel like i am eating a ton. I still havent had cheese though. You need to clear 3 things: eggs, dairy and nuts. the way you clear them is you add one of those things and eat that thing for 3 days. If you dont see a jump then you have cleared it. Then you go to the next thing and again do the 3 day clearing of it and so on and so forth. The first week i add olive oil, coconut oil, veggies and protein. The second week i start trying nuts and the last week i start adding in more fruits. the first 2 weeks i limit the fruits to once a day and only eat p2 fruits. Hope this helps!
