    Hey all, not sure if you like onions like I do but a friend of mine (who is an HCG guru) taught me to make "caramelized onions" that are P2 friendly with water. She normally uses those large sweet onions but will use regular yellow onions if the sweet ones are not available.

    What you need is a nonstick skillet (rather large in size) and a lid for the skillet. . .If you don't have a lid for your skillet, heavy duty foil will do wrapped tightly so only a tiny bit of steam escapes.

    Place skillet on large burner at medium heat
    Add 3/4 cup of water
    Peel and thinly slice 2 large sweet onions (such as Vidalias)
    add to skillet with water, add salt (I prefer Kosher or Sea Salt, coarsly ground), cover and let the onions steam in the water.
    When the onions are translucent and very soft, remove the lid.
    At this point, add any other seasonings you like such as pepper (or just leave them salted).
    "Stir fry" the onions in the remaining water till the water has evaporated, the onion browns and/or begins to stick to the skillet.
    Remove from pan. . .yum, caramelized onions. Not quite as dark as if done in oil but just as tasty. They are my new fave. . .

    Hello everyone!!! I am so glad that everyone is doing good and starting to transition into p3. Unfortunately, my 'break' kind of got out of hand. We were doing the biggest loser at work and when it got postponed a week, rather than staying on HCG (which I definitely should have), I decided to take a break and restart or continue when we started this contest. Instead, I let a week into the competition go by with all my past bad eating habits and ended back up @ 191. Nonetheless, I have restarted my round... Kind of just starting over with it.. It sucks that the owner had to postpone the contest cause that really threw me off.

    I've decided to be very rogue for this round that I am in... My scale is here at work, so it sucks to have to weigh in fully clothed and all and only like once a week....But so far this week I am doing well with my eating habits, and I am back in the gym. It's hard to be working out so hard on such low cal so I am doing between 800-1000.

    I really hope that everyone is doing great! Unfortunately, I can only really check in at work and its hard to go through the thread every day.. Please feel free to PM me I'd love to hear from you!

    HI All,

    Very jealous so many are transitioning to P3. I will see you there soon! I get to have my B.A.B in about 9 days! I am soooo looking forward to it. I can really feel I am hitting the end of my round. I am not terribly hungry, just getting exhausted. I can feel that I need more protein. I am already preparing in my mind for the first non-VLCD day. I want a total vege omelette cooked in butter with bacon! For lunch, I will have crispy rotisserie chicken and for dinner, a beautiful ribeye with creamed cauliflower mash! I might finish it off with a nice peaty scotch whiskey from the Isley region of Scotland OOoooooo...I am so ready! I only weigh once a week, so I hope I made progress last week and that I will get close enough to my goal weight. I have lost 15 lbs so far as of last week (21 including load). I am hoping I will hit 25 total for this round. My TOM came right after weighing, so maybe there was a swosh in weight since it just left!

    Congrats to all that began their stabilization process. Les go P2'ers to a strong finish!!!! We are almost there!

    I'm still in P2 Amanda! Just blogging more than posting. I have 5 injection days left and feel great. The magnesium and potassium have really helped with my energy level. I've even been able to do gentle yoga and long walks. I've never had this energy in P2 and attribute it to the vitamins. We'll both be eating P3 soon!

    I'm still here too with about one more week to go so we'll be going about the same time Amanda. My goal is to get down another 7.2 in that time not sure I'm going to make it. I only had a .2 loss yesterday but today woke up to a 1.8 which was a pleasant surprise!
    Your menu sounds yummy!
    I've struggled this last round unfortunately in 3 wks before reloading I gained 23lb which approximately 15 I think was water gain so I'm not counting it so only loss 21lbs so far this round. Better than nothing tho!

    One week to go! Had my weekly weigh in about a day early and I still have 7lbs to go. I think I will re adjust my goal by 5lbs. I have a feeling those 5 lbs will haunt me and not make that much difference in life style and figure. I also want to make sure stabilization is not based on me doing a BM and absolutely no water intake. I am now at high school weight which is awesome. Curvey, but size six! I know my body will do some major readjustment in P3 as it always does. It seems that my pants get loser in P3 as I go through that change? Weird huh? So instead of the net 25 lbs I wanted to lose, it will probably be 20 lbs. Anything more will be Cherry!

    So close Ladies!!!!!! I am taking my DD's shopping today. They are growing our of their clothing and mine are growing out of me!!!!!!!

    I was looking at BMI charts this morning and I'm no longer considered Morbidly Obese - I'm now Severely Obese <sigh>. But I am determined to continue forward! I have a PI planned for the end of thise week (Ladies Cruise) so tomorrow will be my last injection until the following Tuesday.

    I agree with herzing you have to listen to your body and do what's right for you and that's what I'm going to try to do. I'm on drops this is my last bottle it's so hard to find them here in the states without a Drs. prescription and if I lose the 10lbs this round I will still have 20 or more to go not sure if I will do round 4 or just do low carb.

    Thank you Tracie I will check out the site. How exciting a trip to Jamaica have a wonderful time! You'll be amazed at the choices you can eat and stay close to protocol. Just have a wonderful time can't wait to hear about it when you get back

    Uggggh woke up to a 2.2 GAIN....I made ph2 chilie yesterday for lunch....last time I had tomato sauce I gained with it guess this confirms it...drats!!!

    I'm back from vacation...we had a great time. Lots of snow and skiing!! I started out doing good with my eating and then blew it...also had lots of alcohol!! Yesterday I did a steak day and restarted injections and p2 today at 2.8# above my LIW before my planned interruption. I'm not sure how long I will go with p2 (2 or 3 weeks), I'll just play it by ear.

    I didn't get to read all of the pages that I missed...sounds like a few of you are in p3 now.

    R1 (Oct 2012) Start weight - 169, LIW - 149.6 (30 day round)
    R2 (jan 2013) start weight - 160.6 - 145 (LIW) 30 day round with 10 day planned interruption at 20 day mark
    R3 started May 27 (maintained around 147-148 after R2) 156 after 1 1/2 weeks of loading!!! NOT planned, Grrrr!!
