Today is day 3 of VLCD, round 2 of the drops for me. I woke up feeling like crap, nausea, headache, weak etc... I just had a melba toast and some coffee and feel a bit better. I remember feeling a bit like this in the beginning so hoping it will pass. Hang in there because it is so worth it! : )

    R1/p2/D3 Wednesday

So far so good. Husband has lost about 7 and I have lost about 3 from the start. today is the 1st day we had coffee. i will see tomorrow if it causes any issues for me. We also switched from green tea to regular tea. I'm use to drinking regular tea and wasn't a fan of the green tea unless i added stevia to it. Not to excited about lunch, just looks boring shrimp & cucumbers. Chicken tacos for dinner. Last night we had the meatloaf which was good but we needed something else with it. Where is this chili recipe that everyone keeps talking about?

Alright, so time for an update after my first VLCD.... I had no hunger or issues of any kind! I'm guessing that my dose is just right, then? I'm taking 175iu. I was thinking of lowering it to 150, but I was taught "if it's not broke don't fix it" hahah, so I'll stay here unless I start having any issues.

I was so nervous stepping on the scale this morning... I've never done well with any "diet" so I was afraid that I would have a gain or something... I'm down 3.1 pounds!! So excited about that. Maybe this is something I can stick to??!!

It's so awesome to have forums like this to motivate and be motivated by... good luck y'all!!

Wow, you guys are doing great!! I'm with you on the green tea thing. I'm just not a huge fan. My little college job is at a coffee shop, and we have a huge variety of green teas... I've tried them ALL and they just don't do it for me! Pomegranate, Acai, Georgia Peach, Honey Gensing, plain Green Tea, Spiced Orange, and others I can't think of right now... all green teas and I can hardly choke them down! Well, Georgia Peach isn't too bad, actually. But the rest are just awful. Do you know if it matters if we switch to reg. black tea?? It would be so much easier... I'm trying to figure it all out still!

OH, and yummmm.... chicken tacos sound fab! Keep us updated! Oh, do you have the cookbook by Tammy Skye? It's pretty good - I downloaded it from here somewhere

It doesn't matter which tea you drink. Green tea just has more health benefits and can actually help with weight loss.

Well DH called at lunch time to inform me that he tried the shrimp & cucumbers. Apparently he isn't a fan of cold shrimp. He will eat it occasionally but he has never had a plate of shrimp hot or cold. So he went and got a 1/2 a sandwich with turkey & ham. I'm sure it didn't have any mayo or cheese on it but the bread is what is going to kill him. I guess we will see what happens. I actually love shrimp & I totally enjoyed it. I never ate my apple this morning so I still have that left if I get hungry around 2. Yeah me!

Out shopping for school cloths with my teen today and was worried about staying on track. But we stopped at BK and I got a grilled chicken salad with no cheese or croutons that I'm hoping won't hurt my loss tomorrow . Keeping my fingers crossed.

loaded this past weekend too but I added an extra day. yesterday was vlcd1 I was hungry. it's weird because I haven't had any hunger issues and could barely get the fats and calories in during load. so today is vlcd2 and I have a headache, am slightly hungry, and feel wobbly. oh - and no loss on the scale this morning. ugh.

Good morning. Everyone is doing great. I'm on vlcd 4 and this morning I was down 1.2; for a total of 9lbs, which includes 5.6lbs from loading. I'm excited that I'm now below the LDW from my last round so I'm entering into new weight numbers. I'm curious to see how the week ends. Last round, I lost 12.6 the first week but I don't expect that this time because my start weight is lower.

I'm trying not to compare rounds but it's difficult. In round 1, for the first 2 days I felt like crap, but in this round I felt great on vlcd 1; I felt "ok" on vlcd 2; but yesterday (vlcd 3) I was starving all day, with a slight headache and a little light-headed. I'm going to spread my food out more throughout the day today to see if that helps.

    Happy releases to everyone.

Thumbs up Day 5 & back to LDW from R1 Woohoo!

I am down another pound this morning even after TOM starting yesterday. YAY! I am super excited! That makes almost 7 pounds counting my load gain in 4 days! That is better than I ever expected and way better than my first round as well. I did not gain weight loading in R1. I was hungier and didn't lost as much. So I am pumped! I think understanding the diet better this time has helped! I ate some of the wrong things at the beginning of R1. Last time I did drops and was never sure if the dosage was right. This time with pellets that part is a breeze.

Seeing the loss on the scale each day and hearing from you all is really keeping me motivated! So how is everyone?

    R1 LDW 154.2
    Stabilized R1 158.4
    Loaded Weight 161.2
VLCD5 154.4 Woohoo! Back where I left off and going down from here!
