I'm still in my first week, so there won't be much change in the photos. Of course, I do like Photoshop . . .
@ atroglet . . . good job! You're .8 ahead of me!! Maybe I'll beat you tomorrow!! LOL
Down a total of 8.6 after VLCD5.
Libra: Yes, that's including my 1 pound of load weight.

Good to see ya'll posting.
Pser - In my first round the inches really fell off in P3, and that is really common. Take some photos now and then at the end of P3, you will be stunned.
sm6520 - I'm in Dallas and missing the mexican food, just too yummy. Making "fajitas" tonight but mine will be with lettuce. There is this southwest seasoning spice that I got at whole foods and it saves me on this diet.
saidbyme - I see you adjusted your weight info, good plan!
astroglet- Great losses!
AFM, today is VLCD5 and I am down 4.8 from pre-load. We have been at a track event for 4 hours, so glad to be home and cool off. Good to see everyone on here, last time I checked there was hardly any activity.

Water
I was going to share what I do to make sure I drink enough water. I have glasses, that if I fill up almost to the top, holds 16 oz. (actually has a design on it I use as my marker) I put on my set of bracelets, just some seed beads on stretchy string, fashionable. Then when I finish one glass, I take one string off and put it on the opposite wrist. Right now I have 2 on my left side = 32oz down. Use whatever oz glass you have and use rubberbands on your wrists, if you want. This is what has kept me accountable for my water intake! I know I need to drink 3 more strands!
(I don't count my 1 or 2 cups of coffee, not sure if that counts towards our water intake.)

I just made a really tasty drink with some valencia orange sweet leaf stevia, a lime and ice water. I usually just keep a bottle of water around and when it is half full, I chug the rest and refill. Gives me a chance to get up and move too.
I find that I drink a ton of water because I always have it with me. I have a 32oz water bottle that I refill 4 times a day. I also drink 1 16 oz Smart Water per day as it has electolytes that help with replenishing energy. This is in addition to the 1 cup of coffee, 1 cup of hot tea (at night to help replace bad habits) and 16 oz of iced tea I drink.
Monica - Pleeease give me the name of what you put on the fajitas! We have whole foods here as well and I can easily pick some up. Restaurants have sugar and a lot of salt in their seasoning.
Pser - that's a cute idea with the water. Typically I down 16oz on the bus on the way to work, have my coffee, then down another 16 oz before lunch, have 16 with lunch and the last 16 in the afternoon and with dinner. The more habit you make it, the easier it is. I have to take it with me wherever I go because I find myself thirsty all the time. My body is so used to it now.
Iluvprotein - you got us all beat, but you're going to float away!
Libra - today is VLCD13.
Curly - How are you doing so far??
Pleep83 - you and I have the same goal!! You're slightly ahead of meI am 5'8" How tall are you?
Saidbyme - Are you still having sugar withdrawal?
No weight change in a couple days. I'm retaining for sure. The first ten days of VLCD I had TOM, my body isn't sure what's going on, lol. Friday I have to eat out because my son is graduating and wants Mexican food. I will order some type of grilled chicken plate. What's hard for me is not having a margarita!

sm6520 - I just love my water! haha :-) I have always been a big water drinker. I never got into soda and rarely drink juice. I like coffee, tea, water, wine, and beer. Those last 2 were probably part of the reason I gained 47lb - always ate worse when I had a few drinks. Good luck with avoiding that margarita! Just think, there's a possibility they won't make it well and then it will have been for nothing!
I drink about 2 and half gallons of water through out the day, almost everyday.
I have a Nalgene (32oz) bottle, and a gallon jug that I take to work and I usually have about two Nalgene bottles gone before lunch. I am usually thirsty so its not a problem to drink it all. Peeing every 15min is kinda annoying.
Has anyone been sunburnt and had a water retention from it? Or not lost anything because of it?
Burns and water can be a delicate situation. Attended a seminar recently, where one of the speakers was a burn nurse and one of the things covered was how they have to be careful not to give too much or not enough fluids to a burn patient. Of course we're talking about more serious burns, but sunburns can get serious. So, from that, my thinking is this could affect your losses.

Just wanted to share a discovery...might already be obvious to some of you but I you don't need harmful nonstick to stirfry veg without oil. Just low med heat, stir often and use some water to occasionally dissolve that delicious layer that sticks to the bottom of the pan. Been enjoying my caramelized onions since I discovered this...
