What are you looking forward to most in P3?

I am about halfway through this round, and while I'm sure there is a long list of P3 allowed foods, I was wondering what else you're looking forward to in P3?

For me, it has got to be skincare products. More than the desire to eat more - I really REALLY want to slather some lotion on my poor, scaly dried out hands. Oh how I fret about how sad the backs of my hands look. I'm pretty sure at the 72 hour and one minute mark after my last injection I will be lotioning up, lol. It's amazes me that even though I drink SO much water, it's just never enough to make them look fresh and hydrated.

I also can't wait to go back to my lovely, creamy face wash and eye creams and MAKEUP! I don't usually wear a ton or anything, and I make do with powder and mascara but man I could go for some freaking concealer and my favorite bb cream! And can we talk about how bad I need a pedicure? I live close to San Diego, and we still have a few days per week that sandals are possible but, oh wow, not for me! LOL, it's not pretty.

What are you missing in P2?

(I don't plan to "find" that weight again so I don't consider it "lost")

lol I love it. I'm not a bacon/meat eater myself, but my son is so I get it. He loves bacon, and tri-tip. He likes to be fancy I guess. haha.

Candi: Yes - I miss the coconut oil as well, for both internal and external uses. I have been so tempted at times to just break protocol and use it on my skin and in my food. November 16th, it's ON! haha

Ihavehope: I thought about baby oil as an alternative but what I know about mineral oil and why it's ok to use (it sits on top of the skin without being absorbed) - all I could think of is how my pores wouldn't be able to breathe. I think too much about things sometimes, probably, so I wasn't brave enough to go for it. That's my own preference though and I may eventually break down and try it. For now I've been using my oil free face moisturizer on hands and elbows at times when I feel really desperate and dry.

This got me to thinking though. As far as oils on the skin in general - there IS one instance I thought of where protocol be damned - and that is waxing (eyebrows, arms, bikini, etc.). It requires a light coat of an oil in order for the hard wax to adhere to just the hair. I will go without concealer, I will switch deodorants, face wash and toothpaste even. I even ate meat and eggs for the first 3 weeks before I couldn't take anymore and swapped to the vegan protocol. I will do all of those things, but NO WAY I am going to shave the bikini line, ever again LOL!

More so than food, who knew that I was so, uhhh "invested" in all my products?

I've used skin care products on my face this whole time with no problems. I can' not use it. I however and seriously looking forward to dairy and nice glass of wine. I've had to put my wine of the month club on hold. I've got 15 bottles coming the first of November just before p3 starts. Gotta get stocked up for the holidays.

Rizzo - I haven't put my wine club on hold, but I am stocking it in the cupboard until it's allowed again. I love a rich, velvety glass of red wine, too! I was so frustrated this week with slow losses I told myself if I woke up to another gain this morning I was HAVING a glass tonight.

Good news - I don't get to have any wine today lol.

Breakfast period! lol. I love omelettes with bacon and swiss cheese, add some avocado and a bit of salsa. My way of eating is Paleo and sometimes primal (I love cheese and greek yogurt), so I miss the breakfast part the most.

I use the same skincare products. I use the same cosmetics as well and never had any issues with those. Although my bff has major issues with any skincare products. She cannot lose if she uses the same products. I find it quite strange even though they do not contain any oils.

raggedyann - I'm reading about people who are still using the same skin products and I'm SO tempted to try mine again. I've been having some pretty good losses in the last week, so I am afraid to "mess it up" even though I know a little bit of a slow down and adjustment is bound to be around the corner and would probably have nothing to do with products. Still, I figure while I'm on a good roll I'll just leave as is rather than wondering if I messed it up or if it was just going to happen either way. Only about 2 more weeks to go before I move on to P3 so... I'm going to try to hang in there until then.
