Thread: March 2014 Loaders (and late Feb)

    Yay! Today wasn't so bad at all! I haven't been really hungry. I ate onions with 96% lean ground beef. It was rather bland, Ugh! I didn't have a choice because I was busy during lunch time. For dinner, I am cooking Indian fish curry without oil and tamarind. I am a little concerned since I am cooking without several ingredients but it smells good so far.

    Kansas I am not a vegetarian but I do eat a lot of veggies. I rarely eat red meat but I do while I am on HCG. I eat a boiled egg in the morning because I feel more energetic when I do.

    For lunch I had a big salad: I warmed chopped chicken breast in some broth and added mushrooms. My salad was a giant cucumber sliced up, chopped onion, handful of spinach, salt, pepper. When the chicken was warmed I took it out of the broth and added it to the salad. I took the warm broth, added a tablespoon or two of ACV, plus a teaspoon (literally) of real ranch dressing, and I used a stick blender to blend it up. That was my dressing so I poured it over the salad. It was really tasty! Note that the mixing of veggies and the ranch dressing are not on protocol.
    LynneR I did enjoyed loading this time! Only my complaint is that I was totally bloated because of all the food that I ate!

    Jules I am totally with you on that. I am not hungry but I miss eating! I miss coconut oil and dark chocolate! I am sure that you will reach your goal!

    I find it almost impossible to lose 4 lbs if I am not on hcg. I crave everything and can't stop myself. The rigidity of P2 helps me stay focused, plus not being hungry and having no cravings

    Welcome Libby! Most people start with 150 ius. Is that all you need to know?

    I'm not sure carbs are needed for recovery. What I have heard is to have a little protein right after exercise to build the muscle. I have read that if you eat carbs, you should exercise within 3 hours, presumably to burn off the glycogen. Not sure though, since FMD blew that all out of the water for me.

    sorry new here but what does VLCD mean>?? i started HCG on Monday im on loading
    THURSDAY will be PHASE one.. this loading part has me sick,,,eating stuff i normally keep away frm i havent had a double cheese burger in years let alone an APPLE FRITTER daily,,, its important to load on fatty foods sooo im doing what im instructed to do,,,,, feeling full

    yess the scale is finally moving!!

    Hello everyone! I hope I can join you and stay motivated this time around! I am loading tomorrow and day after and plan on doing a 40 day round. I have done hhcg in the past, and gained all my weight back because of poor choices and not staying on track. I am doing injection this time around and I hope it makes a difference all around!

    Welcome Marlilove...Very Low Calorie Day (VLCD). Phase one detox is Trudeau, the "phase one" is not in pounds&inches and most of us count loading and VLCDs as Phase 2. Are you doing drops or injections? The search bar on the top right will be your friend (after 3 rounds, this is my 4th, i still use it every day). Also check out the newcomers thread, lots of great information there also

    VLCD = Very Low Calorie Day = 500 calorie day
    I don't understand: You started hcg on Monday, so that is the first load day, right? Then Tuesday is the second load day, so then Wednesday (tomorrow) would be your first VLCD. Is that what you are doing? Not saying you are doing anything wrong, but P&I says to load on the most "fattening" foods, not "fatty" foods. Fat can be fattening, but so is corn and cranberry sauce. I say eat what you like, as much as you want, but I don't think you need to make yourself sick.

    Hi Lola! It's good to see you back too! Good luck with the round. I am planning on 40 days too, which I think gets me into my white jeans around April 1. (oh no, april fools day!)

    Down another .2 today. I have forgotten to take my drops twice so far. Both times were at night. I don't think I noticed any change in hunger but today was the least amount I had lost so far. We'll see tomorrow how my losses go... if I don't forget my drops again.

    VLCD2, woke up to -3.6 release today YIPPPPEEEEE!!!! vacation and load weight ---> SEEYA!
    Had hunger last night, may have to adjust my dose, but am waiting as i know the first day or so can be like that

    Can you set a reminder on your phone? If I missed a dose, I would take it when I remembered. The hcg stays optimal in your system for 2 or 3 days, so taking I think taking what you missed brings you closer to where you should be, rather than going over. Maybe find a way to remind yourself, like by taking your drops right after you brush your teeth, or right after dinner. Or by setting a reminder on your phone. If the missed doses are effecting your levels, that is probably why your loss is so low. Good luck.

    Great loss! Congrats. I am hungry right now too. Not sure what is up with that.

    AFM: This is VLCD3 and I am down 1.8 today, 3.3 for the round.
